Great video. When reassembling, if you take the three bolts out for the door striker/latch, you can connect both rods from the outside of the truck, then reach inside the interior of the door opening, position the latch striker back in place and put the three bolts back in. By doing this, you relieve the tension on the door rods, making it possible to connect them before positioning the handle in its opening.
Hey I just wanted to thank you for all of the videos yall do! As a college student working to pay for and go to school extra money is hard to come by especially with the economy we are in, your videos have saved me and I'm sure many other people soo much money and I just wanted to thank you for taking your time to make these videos for everyone to use.
Thank you Mike Green! I love your business model. Your years of experience really shows! I've learned so many great tips from watching. Keep up the good work!
@lomax742853 We currently do not have a video on this particular vehicle. We'll keep this in mind though, if we need to make this particular repair in the future.
At 2:26 you can see a white rectangular clip that supports the two latch rods. What is it called and where can I get it? Mine is broken causing the inner door handle to not work properly.
Great videos. The hardest part. Is. Putting lock cylinder back in. Cylinder comes with a c clip and another clip. But lock keeps falling out as soon as put key in cylinder. Any pics on. How clip hold cylinder to door. Its easy if. It was on from first place. ???

@mayday678 Thank you for checking us out.
@sk8ingonfire Yes it is the same idea but specifics will be different such as removing the door panel and how the linkage hooks up.
