  • I said Pure Synth and I meant Pure Piano. I’m a rookie what did expect. Anyway I just wanted to show a quick way of getting started using Tonality. I’ll be making more tips and trick video of things I do in Tonality.

    90% of the drumming attacks are too early... (Rushing)
    so hence, Atom wont record it, cause it was BEFORE the beat.
    but...thanks for sharing this info!

    Great tutorial!

    I like this tutorial, gave me confidence to buy this. For MIDI, maybe I can send Chord to piano on ch1, and perhaps bass note to bass on ch2?

    Thanks man I needed this jump start to use tonality. Can you transpose all chords at the same time? For me the best is still one motion chord player, but it is a (free) website! I would love to have on iOS.

      Tonality dev is super cool. He is on Instagram and will help with anything. Plus I use it all the time. It’s a great song writing tool and midi controller.

    • @bjamminsincebirth3494
      @bjamminsincebirth3494  2 года назад +1

      Yes you can transpose all chords at the same time.

      With Tonality you can use it on your iPhone and iPad. You can send songs that you have made back and forth via air drop. He added midi on there recently. You can send the midi out of all the chords you created or play it into your daw or midi sequencer. I use Atom2 mostly.

      I’ll do another video on the transposing of chords. It’s so easy I’ll add more tips to the video.

    I’m curious why you use Atom to record into Koala, instead of just recording directly into Koala, since Koala has its own piano roll?

    • @bjamminsincebirth3494
      @bjamminsincebirth3494  14 дней назад +1

      @@F_letc.h Koala’s piano roll is only connected to the pads. It’s not accessible for external instruments. In other words…you would need to create one shot instruments in order to be able to use koala piano roll in the way that I’m using Atom 2. I’m running an external AUV3 in AUM (mixer) to record the instrument into Koala. Remember Koala is just a sampler.

      @@bjamminsincebirth3494 That makes sense. Thanks. What’s your process to record from Atom into Koala?

    How would you use this in Logicpro on iPad?
    I can’t figure it out.
    Is it even possible?

    • @bjamminsincebirth3494
      @bjamminsincebirth3494  4 месяца назад +1

      Absolutely it’s possible. Tonality is just like Scaler 2. It’s a midi device that must be placed in the midi section.

      @@bjamminsincebirth3494 thanks for trying to help, but Tonality doesn’t show up in my list.
      Every other auv3 is there but Tonality
      Same on both my iPad Pros.
      I’m baffled.
