Anyone know any simple free sequencers similar to Reason's Matrix? I'm just looking for something super-simple that I can check boxes on and off with for nifty basslines.
@@jakestilgard4145 The new Ableton Live 12 suite version is dropping 3 new sequencers. It’s in beta right now
Definitely great working in the arranger. Appears at present you can only delete at the bar level not lower for that you have to go into the grid. Can you cut and paste and or move in arranger view yet ?

Very cool combo. I gave up on MPC a few years ago as it wasn't clicking. However, I was trying to use it on it's own and never thought to pair with the iPad seriously.

@@bjamminsincebirth3494 funny thing is... i cant! the only button in that screen that works is "refresh" i think im stuck with this unless i can USB downgrade to 2.15. i have tried a few times throughout the day and ready to wait for 3.5 (the "downgrade" button also wont work for me)
Try turning off the time correction to unlock bars.

Where can I upload a vocal and synth two track and ai matches bass and drums?
I’m not sure on that one. I don’t think I’ve seen one that creates bass and drums using other parts. However you can use Ableton convert audio to midi feature. Like if you find some drums in a song and you want the midi to add your on drum samples.

@@DJ-Clify I’m not sure what this question is really asking but if your asking about melody then Instacomposer or use SEEDs feature in Ableton Live 12.

@@DJ-Clify if you want melody then I’d go Instacomposer. However with the new SEED feature in Ableton Live 12 …it can do that for you. Instacomposer can write the whole song but I wouldn’t use it for live playing in notes.
Scaler, instacomposer, orb, Harmony bloom, captain chords which read old songs audio not just midi necsuse melodyne makes noisy mess midi, that need drum bass and ad in the best fit? Scaler just gives notes I want spacing matched to gaps in notes to limit phasing and ducking?
Can it easily change bassline per bar to match composition in 33 minutes song avoiding gaps drops etc
@@DJ-Clify you have presets you could save. Switching I’m not sure is on it. It’s more for generating ideas. Yeah it can play from the plugin but I don’t recall being able to switch like what you can do in Scaler 2.
Which plug-in can read audio wav in ableton and add drums, midi bass, melodyne midi transfer is noisy, need too drums to match gaps avoiding ducking phasing timing?
@@DJ-Clify Scaler 2 can read audio and grab chords and single notes. However I would say use Ableton Live to get midi Drums. Instacomposer is more about generating ideas.
