The day glider redeploy got removed was one of the funniest days in Fortnite. People had grown accustomed to building large ramps and gliding away to rotate around the map so when they vaulted Glider Redeploy, there are so many ramps with tons of loot sitting at the bottom. Me and my friends couldn’t help but laugh each time we saw it and imagined someone jumping off, expecting to safely glide away, only to plummet straight to the ground.
As an OG I became a meme gamer when shopping carts were released. So whenever new feature get release, I gauge them by how I could use them to goof around. I used redeploy gliders for fun, not rotations lol
Addition of metaverse garbage, removal of rarities, age rating and new "revamped" UI. Yeah chapter 5 movement was bad, sure, but this in conjunction is even worse.
one of the worst changes gotta be bots, there is nothing worse then hitting the craziest shot ever only to release you've just killed a walking robot, plus they make the game so much more boring, were so prevalent at certain points during chapter 2 that sypher made a video studying his lobbies only to find out he was averaging under 20 real players a game, and killed the genral pacing of old fortnite, and worst of all they artificially boost weaker players (who land edge of map near the bots) stats to the point that they get boosted into higher lobbies leading to them killed killed by guys who are triple editing every game. Overall it just feels like every game I play is just killing bots until a real player finds and kills me
1. just play ranked if you annoyed with bots and on avg you will get people your own skill level 2. there is no skill based matchmaking in pubs so you are kinda wrong. bots overall arent the best in my opinion however if you dont like them you can just play ranked and if you do like them which most casul players do partly because they arent aware that this are bots just stay in pubs , ranked itself isnt really comp anyway
Hot take: Bots are good, it actively lowers the chance of third partying in fights between actual players, and allows for players to not have to sweat literally every single fight they're in and save their resources, which actively creates more engaging encounters when you fight a real player. Plus ranked has very few bots so if it really bothers you play ranked (although low ranks still have bots in them).
The thing is bots themselves arent the biggest problem.......like if u had like 15% of ghe lobby be bots thats fine......but when around 60% of the lobby is bots.........come on, there is 300-500k players in zero build AND build mode 24/7 not counting arena even......its so dumb
I'd argue that double pump was the exact same as SMG spray and pray. Becuase the pump with its high burst damage output but slow fire rate, was supposed to be a high risk high reward weapon. Double pumping removed the risk almost entirely, since you had two one tap machines shooting really fast, as fast or even faster than the invalidated Tac shotty. And it took no skill, just switch between one shotgun to another. You could even hold the fire button and just switch and the shotguns would fire automatically. Okay, Tommy Gun meta was maybe AIDS but so was the double pump meta as well.
C2S1 amazing season, however, the game got so stale that I got level 300, participated in multiple fashion shows and did everything I could but didn’t find anything worth doing

The introduction of bots into Fortnite has sparked significant debate within the gaming community. While bots were initially intended to level the playing field for new players and provide a more manageable learning curve, several unintended consequences have led many to view them as a detrimental addition to the game. Firstly, the presence of bots has diluted the competitive nature of Fortnite. For experienced players, the primary allure of the game lies in the challenge of facing off against real opponents. Bots, with their predictable behaviors and relatively low skill levels, fail to provide the same thrill and satisfaction as human competitors. This has led to a diminished sense of accomplishment for players who thrive on overcoming challenging adversaries, ultimately reducing the overall enjoyment of the game. Furthermore, bots have created a distorted sense of skill progression. New players, while benefiting from an easier start, may develop a false sense of competence as they consistently outperform AI opponents. This can lead to frustration and disappointment when these players eventually face more skilled human opponents and struggle to compete. The abrupt transition from fighting bots to real players can be discouraging, potentially driving new players away from the game rather than fostering long-term engagement. Bots also undermine the integrity of the matchmaking system. Fortnite's matchmaking is designed to pair players of similar skill levels to ensure fair and balanced matches. However, the inclusion of bots skews this balance, as they do not accurately represent the skill level of a human player. This can result in uneven matches where the presence of bots artificially lowers the difficulty, leading to an inconsistent and less satisfying gameplay experience for all players. Moreover, the introduction of bots has affected the game's meta and strategies. Experienced players often exploit the predictable patterns of bots to their advantage, altering their playstyles in ways that would not be effective against human opponents. This shift in strategy can detract from the organic, dynamic nature of competitive play that Fortnite is known for, further diminishing the overall quality of the gaming experience. In conclusion, while the introduction of bots in Fortnite was intended to help new players acclimate to the game, it has ultimately had several negative impacts. The dilution of competitive play, distorted skill progression, undermining of the matchmaking system, and alteration of gameplay strategies are all significant drawbacks. These issues highlight that the addition of bots, rather than enhancing the game, has compromised many of the elements that make Fortnite an engaging and competitive experience.

The Catastrophic Consequence: Why the Infinity Blade Was the Worst Update in Fortnite History Introduction: Fortnite, a titan in the world of battle royale gaming, has seen its fair share of updates over the years. While many have been welcomed with open arms by its massive player base, there exists one update that stands out not for its innovation or enhancement, but for the chaos and discontent it wrought upon the game's landscape. This update introduced the infamous "Infinity Blade," a weapon whose very presence shattered the delicate balance of Fortnite's gameplay. In this essay, we delve into the catastrophic consequences of the Infinity Blade update and why it remains a dark stain on Fortnite's history. Disruption of Gameplay Balance: Fortnite, at its core, thrives on the delicate equilibrium between various gameplay elements. The introduction of the Infinity Blade obliterated this equilibrium with reckless abandon. The Blade's unparalleled power rendered traditional strategies and tactics obsolete, as its wielder could effortlessly decimate opponents and structures alike with minimal effort. Such overwhelming dominance not only discouraged skillful play but also relegated other weapons and items to irrelevance. This disruption of gameplay balance not only frustrated players but also undermined the very essence of Fortnite's appeal: the thrill of fair competition and strategic gameplay. Impact on Competitive Integrity: Competitive Fortnite, a burgeoning esports scene, was hit particularly hard by the Infinity Blade update. In a realm where skill and strategy reign supreme, the Blade's overpowered nature threw the competitive landscape into disarray. Professional players, who had honed their craft through countless hours of practice, found themselves at the mercy of a single, game-breaking weapon. Tournaments and events were marred by the Blade's presence, with matches devolving into chaotic spectacles devoid of the skillful gameplay that fans had come to expect. The integrity of competitive Fortnite was compromised, as victories became less about skillful execution and more about securing the Infinity Blade before one's opponents. Community Backlash and Developer Response: The Fortnite community, known for its passionate and vocal nature, did not take kindly to the Infinity Blade update. Social media platforms and online forums were flooded with expressions of frustration and outrage, as players lamented the erosion of their beloved game's integrity. Epic Games, the developer behind Fortnite, found itself besieged by waves of criticism and demands for action. In response, the Infinity Blade was swiftly removed from the game, a rare admission of error from a company known for its steadfast commitment to its vision. However, the damage had been done, and the scars left by the Infinity Blade would linger long after its departure. Conclusion: In the annals of Fortnite history, few updates have elicited such unanimous scorn and condemnation as the introduction of the Infinity Blade. Its disruptive influence shattered the delicate balance of gameplay, undermined the integrity of competitive Fortnite, and incited a wave of community backlash unprecedented in the game's history. While Epic Games ultimately heeded the calls for its removal, the scars left by the Infinity Blade serve as a cautionary tale of the perils of unchecked innovation and the importance of preserving the essence of what makes a game truly great. As Fortnite continues to evolve and adapt, let us not forget the lessons learned from this dark chapter in its history, lest we risk repeating the mistakes of the past.
