llamas are just big chests it’s not that revolutionary or gameplay impacting as some of these other ones that added entire game modes or new sections to the map
For me it did, different vehicles with different advantages and disadvantages was nice instead of an suv a motorcycle and a race car which no matter what you put on it stays the same
Imo chapter 2 season 5 should’ve been on here as it: -introduced gold which is a currency that has been heavily utilised in every season since (apart from OG) and also marked the end of mats being used as currency -introduced the exotic rarity -marked the start for gaming legends collabs -introduced non aggressive npcs -introduced sand tunnelling which was later reworked into the chrome splash Also the other season 5 for introducing moving zones which would not only be used in the majority of br seasons since but also inspired the entire zone wars genre, and also rifts
I feel that chapter 2 should’ve been mentioned, as it was revolutionary and unexpected. Whole game goes dark for 3 days, comes back completely different.
For me, it's for sure everything that they added in S2C3 with zero build. I always knew I didn't love building and was not good at it, but now it's all I play and is so much more fun to play. It adds one less thing that you need to be great at to play well, as building has just gotten so bad
Nothing shitty to say about the inclusion of moving and healing here!! One could argue that it should be in the top slot and I just might be inclined to agree with them. I played Fortnite religiously from day 1 right on through the second season of chapter 2, but I got burned out and took a month off. I came back after the break and just couldn’t find any enjoyment in the game anymore and hadn’t played since. I just had an old squad mate reach out to me at the beginning of chapter 5 and ask me to hop on. I was fairly reluctant, but figured “what the hell, I’ll hop on for an hour or two”. I am honestly pretty thrilled I did because it’s been a blast playing Zero Build the past couple months, the QoL changes are really noticeable (especially for a player who skipped 2 chapters and some change), the movement feels crisp, there’s balance between most items (more than I remember at least), the weapon mods are a fantastic addition and on and on. I apologize for the long ass comment, I got carried away there.
the heal overhaul is a great addition for the casuals and the ranked players but in competitive and tournouaments it has evolved into boring med kit heal off on the last 1v1, which to be honest i dont really care since i play casually
I find it kinda cool how fortnite zero build took awhile to become a game mode. Since if i rember correctly the earliest version of a zero build was tilted town.
I don’t think this is important at all but, at 0:53 you say Fortnite: Battle Royale is the classic version / mode of the game. The classic version / mode of the game is Fortnite: Save The World, not BR. BR is a spinoff of the classic version, which is STW. The reason BR was made was because of the slow updates and low player base. They wanted to keep the game alive. STW was not very playable due to the rough and unfun gameplay at the time. BR was their effort to try to keep the game alive.
imo, the only reason why the OG chapter was so well received was because we got a great map and weapons of chapter one combined with some great QoL features such as reboot and the movement, I do not think people would have had as much fun if we went from chapter 4 with its many great features added in the lifespan of fortnite and send us back back to chapter 1 in the exact same it was back then.
I have a headcanon that reboot cards are actually the souls of whoever was eliminated turned into a keycard and the reboot van gives them physical form again.
I still think that nerfing build was a good decision and still is needed as you need to build balance with the rest of the mechanics. Is stupid to have bullets affected by gravity, sprint limited by stamina but you can build the Empire State Building in one second only with the items in your backpack. I understand people is used to it, but it clearly unbalances the game.
The Dragon Ball update was one of the best to me. Just getting to play as Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, etc. on top of playing with the nimbus cloud and the kamehameha mythics were the most fun I’ve ever had. If you got the kamehameha in team rumble, and you didn’t use all 3 charges before you end up dying, it made for some pretty chaotic and fun moments with the amount of kamehameha’s being shot around by the whole lobby 😂
Definitely the Chapter 2 Season 4 update, 2 weeks into the season! You had the Iron Man Boss, The Iron Man Cars, The Iron Man Mythic, The Iron Man AR, and the Stark Industries POI 🗣
I dislike cars to be fair. The previous vehicles were very unique some times and could be used in creative ways. Now we have cars and in most cases that's basically it. What were new vehicles after that update? There was Tank I guess
Fortnite didnt just copy PUBG, they have copied so many other games too, but they just do it right 🔥 Prospering said Fortnite does things other games do, but it does it better

@@Layo0Just saw your new video! Your comedy and editing is fantastic, definitely gonna be using yours when I flush my mom’s life savings. You deserve it, keep up the good work man
if you ever get caught in the storm, you deserve to be eliminated, don't take fights while rotating tf? also zero build was the worst thing to ever happen to fortnite bc it ruined the skill gap in builds and made it impossible to not sweat. all of the new/bad players went to zero build bc why would you learn how to build if you don't have to? or you could play on a switch to get bot lobbies, which are even less fun to play. I wont argue with putting the tilted update up there only because of the legendary status it created, I don't think that tilted was groundbreaking at all from a design standpoint, but I feel like it just clicked with everyone as being THE location, the one with all the loot, all the chaos, all the fun. also reboots were just necessary by the point they were added, getting fulled SUCKED, and its def nice to not worry about dying as much in team modes and honestly makes solos so much more special and feel more important, and urgent.
@@sukanyathangaraj3515 you must like minecraft too, because mining matierals and building a base is so fun. The biggest update that changed fortnite the most was chapters
in my opinion, llamas should've been in this, as they're one of fortnite's most iconic features if not THE most iconic.
llamas are just big chests
it’s not that revolutionary or gameplay impacting as some of these other ones that added entire game modes or new sections to the map

I think the S2C2 really changed the idea of getting better guns to fight, it was a hella of an update.
Trueeee that was a good season with mythic guns, I miss the mini gun, bow, drum gun, sky’s scar
Imo chapter 2 season 5 should’ve been on here as it:
-introduced gold which is a currency that has been heavily utilised in every season since (apart from OG) and also marked the end of mats being used as currency
-introduced the exotic rarity
-marked the start for gaming legends collabs
-introduced non aggressive npcs
-introduced sand tunnelling which was later reworked into the chrome splash
Also the other season 5 for introducing moving zones which would not only be used in the majority of br seasons since but also inspired the entire zone wars genre, and also rifts

Imo ppl don’t appreciate how big ch2 was purely because it used ch1 weapons
Yeah ch2s1 was most definitely the biggest update fortnite has ever recieved. Fishing, cars, new map for the first time, all revolutionaru
The most impactful thing epic has done was never bother to make an example of cheaters. Or even deal with soft aim

2 best updates in my opinion
1. Reboot vans
2. Tactical sprinting/mantling
(And creative but I’m going by this videos rules)
I have a headcanon that reboot cards are actually the souls of whoever was eliminated turned into a keycard and the reboot van gives them physical form again.
The reboot van is a snapshot of what a player once was before they died, so you're not entirely wrong
Zero build brought my buddy and I back. Grinding that comp rank. We’re 60% through elite and we need some hand towels.
Surprised this doesn’t have more views, good job 👍
These updates are why I find people who want the game to go back how it was exactly stupid as they would complain they are gone
good video innit. earned a sub
If they add back titled they should add a vault because thats the only reason why people will drop
