Mouth Rig for lip sync in after effects | No Plugin

Hey, today I will show you the easiest way to create a Mouth rig For Lip sync in After Effects with no plugins such as Duik Bassel or joysticks n sliders.
The After Effects mouth rigging tutorial is separated into 3 parts. 1. I will show you how to make a UI slider to control the poses of your mouth. 2. In the second part, you will learn how to connect the slider to the character's mouth, and in the last part, I will show you how to animate easily and create lip sync animation.

thank you! I picked up some very useful techniques! I especially like the math round feature for the slider and clamping. This is a far better technique than many of the other tutorials...especially considering the tedious nature of lip syncing ... every improvement helps!

Thank you! Great video. I have a doubt: If I have multiple mouth sets (happy, neutral and sad), is there an expression i could use to change between them with the same rig? Or do I need to do multiple rigs for each mouth set?

If you mean, for example, to have a set of mouth poses for talking, and at the same time to have a set of mouths to show different emotions and control both of them by a slider; I have to say: yes, it is possible, but you have to do a bit more advanced rigging.

@@JafarFazel Yes! I mean, like if I wanna have a second slider to change between emotions. How could I do it?
I've tried with the scale (scale at 0) parented to the second slider (the emotion slider) with the same code you use to set opacity at 0 but error appears in the screen:(
