- My goal is to reach some semblance of professional production quality for these videos and our instructionals. Sitting in front of a camera, a mile away, with so so audio quality just doesn't feel like the best way of doing it. I'm going to keep experimenting with different formats until we have something that feels right. There are definitely ways to improve on this attempt, in terms of overall quality and how easy it is to produce. Switching to talking in front of the green screen was slightly jarring and awkward, which is just a practice thing. Next attempt will be better.
Next I will attempt to add some visual ques to help direct attention.

I use lots of flower sweep and lapel f*ckery and will definitely be drilling this.
What I like about it is that it combines some basic fundamental moves in a new way, thinking 3 steps ahead of the opp.

My professor has shown me acsimilar sweep from half guard I use it quite a bit sparring. I have yet to pull it off in competition old man Bluebell belt problems lol
How does this compare to the flower sweep Bird did a video on? At 5:30 he passed the jacket into the hand that was hooking under the leg instead of coming out.
Definitely needs prep-work but effective.
will the sweep still work without the lapel f**kery? or does the potency of sweep relly on it?

the flower sweep is also one of the hubs of my closed guard game. I have several varieties as well.
