Too Many Trizookas was the most fun I’ve ever had in a Splatoon game but could only play two hours of it and it’ll probably never return or have it appear again once in like a year or two
too many trizookas was literally the reason why i play squeezer now i used to hate it but i used it for the memes and i was actually somewhat decent and really enjoyed using it! Moral of the story is dont knock it till you try it!
Did you call humpback pump track…musselforge fitness? Anyways good video! I wasn’t expecting sizzle season to be super good but then when the update came out it was super enjoyable.
This season makes me hope there is gonna be mid season updates and not just patches because this feels like nintendo is starting to slow down in work for splatoon 3 with there being so much less stuff that was added this update
As someone who almost exclusively uses Splat Brella, they didn't really "FIX" brellas because I still get shot through my canopy, just less frequently, at least eith Splat Brella. They basically try to patch brellas to work every patch and it makes things slightly better each time, but the problem still isn't fixed because NSO will always suck. It's kinda like if you had a giant gaping hole in your leg and someone gives you a ton of band-aids. Thanks, I'm bleeding less thanks to all the band-aids, but I'm still bleeding, just slightly less with each band-aid.
while the season was better than expected, I really hope the devs continue to take feedback and don't take this as "this is what players actually want"
he really said the music doesnt fit into the game??? you're telling me ska-blam by yoko and the gold bazookas isnt the biggest banger you've ever heard???
Nintendo kinda is in the right direction for some improvements and I hope they learn their mistakes and correct them next season I would say this season is a test to see what they can change, what do we want/need and improve all of that I have big expectations for the next patch notes to see if they buff bad main and sub weapons and if they add small things to see what they need to do to rework the maps.
The lack of new kits and gear is too big of an issue in this update to let slide, splatoon 2 took 1 year to give every weapon a second kit with an already bad update cycle, and splatoon 1 did it in 8 months. We really should be getting 15 weapons per update **minimum** and at least 50 new pieces of gear. Mud season drops should definitely start happening to fill in the lack of content.
I'm pretty happy with the updates to the competitive scene But the poor map design has been going on for quite a while, and if there are really only 5 upcoming seasons left, there better be serious changes Splatoon's new designers are killing the casual scene; I wish I got the change to get lost in more varied maps in the earlier games
I would agree with most that was said. I still not a fan of the Dime stage cause of the lack of "Visual" cover, so sneaking is super hard but cool to see a super big stage in Humpback. Missile Spam still seems more the Reflux thing and only weapon I have problems with was the Nozzlenose and the barrier spam.
Glowfly hightide isn't too bad if you have or roller (or Undercover Brella) because you can steamroll through all the lessers but yeah grillers seem pretty nightmarish
@@bukenator0788 For both I think the best way would be to jump between the platform behind the basket and the small platform to the left, when it comes to grillers specifically the correct way to deal with them is to have the targeted player(s) run around to move the grillers into position for the rest to shoot at and the same goes for when there's a bunch of golden eggs on the ground the targeted player(s) need to lure the grillers away so their teammates can safely deliver them
I think Sizzle season is pretty decent, the new weapons/kits feel generally fun and unique, Barnacle & Dime and Humpback Pump Track aren't terrible and could be easily improved like adding a flank route around the fountain statues in B&D and adding some sponges and blocks to all HPT modes to make the stage less of a bowl, as for challenges I think Nintendo will add more and have them more frequently as we go on, this season actually feels kinda light in spite of its quality and I think that might be because of Side Order potentially coming around the game's anniversary on September 9th which is near the start of the next season
Honestly, this update is pretty good but the only minor inconvenience is challenges and it’s time zones. Why not just put it for a day or two so everyone can play.
Inb4 maple miles starts seething upon reading the title and makes 20 callout posts, while not actually watching the video or completely misunderstanding it due to his comprehension skills being those of a first grader
Personally, I think this update worked partially cause of the choices they made with the weapons. Say what you want about the kits, they're new kits on weapons that are generally well liked, and the majority of the previous kits on these weapons were kinda bad so a new kit is very welcome(with the main exception being squelchers, which I think had a good main kit and a bad kit for sizzle season). Also notably, I think the two new weapons are the best new weapons they've added since launch and both breathe new life into the classes they're in, which is something snipewriter, splattershot nova and big swig didn't really do
I personally think this season is on par with Fresh season for me, but for different reasons. While I enjoy this season for the weapon kits, maps and double scales for Big Run, I enjoyed Fresh season for the mid season patch, Horrorboros and returning gear. And also, the QoL updates for both seasons were really good imo. The Challenges are the only major misstep for me with limited time slots and the special rules being hit and miss so far, where's in Fresh season I was disappointed with the kits the most. Chill season is the only one I dislike atm as it only gave me Flounder Heights and basically not much else for me.
Pretty strongly in the same boat, Fresh Season's mid season patch really changed the game and the content this season is pushing the game further in a good direction. Also compared to last season, the weapon class variety was REALLY felt in the kit department because even with the utility subs, we got a weapon for nearly every class, say for sloshers, stringers (why) and chargers. A lot more varied playstyles as a result and I'm happy about that
I think we should look at the kits individually instead of looking at them all together and complaining about no lethal subs. Not every weapon needs a lethal sub to be good
I enjoy Sizzle Season. But man, I really don't like the time frames for the challenges lol. The pool system getting QoL and even more support kits really makes me happy.
Translated by Google: I feel that lately they are not doing anything to change and improve the experience because the main problem that the game causes is still: The new but terrible map designs of Splatoon 3. The new map layouts have not yet reworked it to make them more open and less closed off. Lately I have stopped playing it because if it continues with that problem that I mentioned, the game will get even worse.
Mixed bag for Sizzle season. Some things went in a good direction, but there were some questionable decisions made. They also mishandled challenges, not only with the strange play times, but also the lack of information on it.
I think Sizzle Season is okay, Muscleforge returning isn’t my favorite, but painbrush. also, the music does fit the vibes, the whole theme is chaos, it’s not rock and roll, grunge, or whatever, chaos is a mix-match of everything, chaos is unexplainable, which is why you have brazillian, japanese, and south asian, ska, rock, metal, anything goes. There’s no theme for Splatoon, it’s what you want. - A Loser on The Internet
The season is ok but not better than fresh season. My fav part was the maps and that’s the challenges are ok:/ and uhhh that’s my opinion on Sizzle season
this season was... meh. only 9 new kits (which is just lazy) and 2 new weapons (which are solid) the new stage is decent. a step up from brinewater and umami. still a tetris block though, with no flank routes. but hey, it has a few inkable walls so im content with it. then theres humpback... i swear to god. this was one of the stages i REALLY didnt want them to add back because i just HATED it in 2. i still hate it and the reef would have been a better fit. challenges being limited honestly would be a bad thing if the play windows wernt so biassed towards japan. and they were maybe a little longer, say 4 hours. overall. a little dissapointing for me.
Still an decent season. Also, Salmon Run is mid for me(I’m not a SR player). I don’t like negative videos on Splatoon, I don’t condone that. The errors, and matchmaking has issues, my internet is fine, also, I haven’t played B&D sense day one because it’s not perfect(idc what they saying), hope they stopped with Tetris pieces still, I hate about challenges, is a crap scheduling. Hope they learned from that in the future. This maps arte fine, and i don't mind it, except for Brinewater, Mincemeat, Mahi Mahi, and Undertow. (Just Hagglifish, and Um'ami i like) Scalling And Flank Routes are needed.
Overall while the kits SEEMED disappointing, while the maps SEEMED disappointing and the challenegs SEEMED disappointing, honestly this season came together well overall. Barnacle and Dime is fun, Humpback went from one of my least favourite in 2 to one of my personal favourites in 3, and the kits are very fun! Rapid Pro Deco turned a weapon I didn’t care for at all into a combo damage poking machine, and that's awesome (and it literally would not exist if the community was given the reigns lol, every kit here would probably be slapped with a fizzy bomb). I do have my fair share of gripes, obviously. Challenges are still jank with timings and the fact that some of them are literally just set map-mode rotations with nothing special is dull, the decisions on kits confuse me still (no stringer, but we HAD to put another Nova and Big Swig in, also who is Snipewriter?), and the balance patch really could’ve used some more buffs, especially with subs, but overall? It's a solid package and I am happy overall! It may have not been the BEST update the game could’ve gotten, but it's got more good than bad, especially for salmon run (seriously the weapon buffs in salmon are really showing they're taking the mode actually seriously this time, and I think that's cool).
Honestly? This season slaps. Its not the BEST but i think i enjoy it more then last sesson overall. A lotnof the new kits hust feel grest to play or to play against, the map is kinda nice, suoer chump feels better to play, splatana stanper and macine dont feel so opressive...its not a perfect update, but call me ronald cuz im mclovin' it. I kinda feel like we have been letting negativity get thr better of us, spcually from some higher influence splattubers, with all the "if onlys" and "x could be so much better". Not saying that criticing the game is bad, thats how we get improvments, but too much of it and beating all.thr deadhorses we have been besting for a while can be unhealthy if not detrimental too. Things aresnt so bad, and this season kinda proved it to me.

How 100 damage scales in different games splatoon 100=100% brawl stars 100=5% pokemon 100 =40%
I love the funny names for the old game systems. That’s the best part of this update. But also NOT THE DABBING MISSILES AT THE END 💀💀💀
