I tried to make it twice last night messed up both batches. First time I was like too much water in the pan double boiler so let’s pore some out water went in the flan a lot so 2nd time I’m like okay less water still water boiled over into the flan destroying it a 2nd time.
I agree and replied the same to another comment! The custard has a bunch of bubbles in it LOL. It doesn't look like it was strained. I personally like mine with more of just the egg yolk. It makes for a much richer and smoother custard. I will admit that the presentation itself looks PERFECT 💯🍮😄
One cup of sugar in a pan to make caramel, Flan = 5 eggs , 2 cans of evaporated milk, 1 can sweet condensed milk. In a pot add one cup of water 6-8 cloves , 5 star annis , 2/3 cinnamon sticks and 1 tsp of cinnamon 1/2 tsp of vanilla ,,bring to a boil extract

Make sure you gently whisks the eggs
Cover foil at the top to your molder that water can't go inside your plan
Try bain marie, much easier to cook in the oven.
