Love my StormBox 24w and my StormBox Micro 9w! Both have rich big sound. Of course the micro is not as full sound because it’s half the watts but it’s also half the weight and smaller. The Micro lasts for 8hrs and clips on my disc golf bag with little weight. StormBox would be good on a disc bag in the drink holder as you have it but I have not used that on a course yet. Many reviews have SB Micro beating out the Bose Mini for Sound!!
You did a great review and research! Thanks!
FYI two StormBox linked together sound excellent however only gives you Party mode - no stereo. Still I used two linked to DJ a small outdoor wedding with just simple cross trading radio hits where I had no power for my large DJ equipment. The sound was more than enough and it was a lot of fun!
You can link two StormBox Micro speakers Together for Stereo or Party Mode. It is USB C and Bluetooth 5.0
In late December 2020 Tribit Is releasing a 40 W speaker called StormBox Pro. Hopefully you can link to or more of these together for stereo or for party mode.

Thanks Jonathan, some great info there for others interested in the Stormbox as well as the Micro. I reckon they are the best value for money speakers out there at the moment.

So many reviews say the charging port goes bad and the battery goes within months not years. Either way though 5 hrs to charge is a lot

No problems with mine yet. The 5 hour charging doesn't really concern me as I leave it overnight so it gets 10 hours on charge. Will update if I see any issues.

I own a dindin brand of speakers. To be honest it's really good. I've had it for a year so far, and I use it at every party!
