This was so satisfying to watch!
I have this speaker , and i must say the bass in outdoor won't sound immersive , but the mid and low end is lit 🔥 .
But at the same time , when you play this speaker in surround area or any room placed on floor , it will probably shake you with the bass low vibration .
So , for bass you must need surround place . Else it's good to buy for a clean and immersive sound.
The spoiler for the sound must be the "360° degree curve" that sound lowly and not surround to refects its bass , but somewhere it's worth as it is.

Do you have any idea, why charging is not working?
The batterie has still two LEDs left but doesn't charge.
The drivers aren't titanium but they sound comparable to other brands. Tribit seem to source decent sounding speakers for their products.
Looked like there were two 18650s in that battery pack, 2600mAh each according to the specs.

Of course you can. You can even put 5000 mah. As long as the voltage is same, around 3.7V, its alright to use any mah battery. The bigger the mah, the longer it will last. Long battery life.

I think battery will last longer because its 18650 2600mAh battery and its decent one Im using in few diy projects. Its 2s battery in stormbox if you open the casing see pin connection maybe you can make one yourself its pretty easy.

Im waiting for this upgraded version of the tribit stormbox?!! Its 2023 most bluetooth speakers today have their bluetooth speakers upgraded!
I bought one last autumn and they had changed the charge connector from “micro” to “usb c” which seems a little more duarble the the previous model where the socket seemed to wear out. I can’t say if they improved anything else.
I have bought mine also the updated version and thr tribit thunderbox/maxsound plus upgraded and the tribit xsound go updated version too😊

One of mine too… looking at the video changing the charging port socket seemed the easiest thing to replace, better than paying £20 + postage to get repaired.

Its 2023 and yet Tribit didn't upgraded this nice bluetooth speaker, all of their other bluetooth speakers have been upgraded to usb type C like the maxsound plus upgraded, thunderbox plus, stormbox pro hopefully they upgrade the bluetooth connectivity and battery capacity (mAh) but dont remove the auxiliary input in the next version if ever? They upgrade their tribit stormbox! Please tribit upgrade your stormbox, thanks
I had to buy another as the charge port stopped working. The model I bought last autumn had a “usb c” rather than “micro” socket. I don’t know if they changed anything else.
Tribit is now selling a type-c version here in the Philippines😊
@@matthewrioja it’s a much better quality socket and it is symmetrical, less wear and tear when you can avoid inserting the plug upside down.
Some affordable and portable bluetooth speakers, ($100 and below) are Anker Soundcore Motion +, Oontz Angle 3 Ultra, Ultra Pro or XL, Doss Soundbox XL and Doss Soundbox Pro +.

They won't help you... contact one of the very knowledgeable guys who comment on Bluetooth speakers. They will help you or at least point you in the right direction. Off the bat, sounds like you need a new battery...
Contact tech support and they will send you a new speaker if it's less than 18 month old

It says 4010W on the speaker bottom, that doesn't mean it is 10 watts, it could still be 12 watts.

Company claims that it has two 2600 mah batteries, is it true? Or it is just having a single 2600 mah battery.
So, Basically i ordered it and use it for 1 week and got to know that in full volume it is only work for 4 to 5 hours max.
Also the sound was much muffled and not impressive loud.
So i returned it immediately and planning to buy jbl flip 5. If anyone having both, please let me know about their views.

The Tribit Stormbox, like their Maxsound Plus and XBoom looks very nice but sounds terrible and is very poorly built. It is reasonably loud for it's size but is noisy, directional and hopelessly short on highs and bass. There is an xbass button which is redundant, as without that, it is unusable. The price is good but now I'll end up spending far more replacing it, than if I'd bought something else in the first place. If you want a good affordable speaker, go for the Oontz Angle 3 Plus or better, the Oontz Angle 3 Ultra or Ultra Pro. If you can spend a wee bit more, go for the JBL Flip 4. Anker and Doss are super too. Tribit needs to spend a lot more time on sound and build research. I have already given mine away to a kid who doesn't know the difference, for Christmas. I would like to mention that Amazon are excellent as always, stocking this is hardly their fault. Sadly, I didn't keep the box, was not expecting this.

Wow, if they just had made the battery connector inside of the battery compartment, it would be really simple to replace the battery on this. What assholes, they did that on purpose.
For anyone considering buying a Tribit speaker, this one's also very good, as per this excellent review, but... I have just been informed by Tribit, via email, that:
1. Tribit speakers cannot be paired... I quote, "One device can't connect 2 speakers at the same time." I had foolishly bought one and then another, without checking this first, so I have two which I intend to give away. Both.
2. They cannot replace my damaged strap. (very nice shoelace) They also 'cannot' post a video showing how to tie the knots on a shoelace the way they do. I quote, "Please kindly note that we don't have a separate strap and it's not convenient for us to up a video on RUclips." They then proceed to offer me $2.5 for, I quote, "Then you could let someone help you tie those lovely knots for you." I had said "lovely knots" in my nice mail to them requesting a replacement strap as I had damaged mine or please could they show how to do the knots so I can buy a nice shoelace and do it myself to perfection.
So, Tribit's Maxsound+ is a very good buy at $45 and is, as reviewed here, but... be aware of this stuff. The company's policies are as above, in their own sarcastic words.
