Another entertaining and informative video Al. I like my Bose Home Portable, a revolve plus with Alexa built in. Have had it for 3 years. Perfect for plonking in the middle of a patio table. I haven't got as many speakers as you've got, but also have a speaker addiction 😂
Certainly a speaker that can be rewarding just silly price and a little muddy, but a sense of a maturity to my ears and with a warm bass. Not for everyone but i was pleasantly surprised.

Bose for me. yes, the tribit is cheaper but build material, design, sound quality and reliability (Bluetooth connectivity, durability etc.) worth the extra price.

Another @alanrossreviews, can't afford to miss it, all things being equal(price), I'd choose the bose over tribit, value wise, 2 tribits will be better plus some change left but 360° degree speakers aren't my favorites anyways, the only speaker that'll impress me nowadays is a Motion Boom with tweeters, superb clarity, nice battery life, same size that defies laws of physics(in bass), full warm bass & sound in general, let it just maintain its fuller warm bass & clarity progressively from very low volume till around 75-80%, I'm just ok, i don't listen to speakers pass 67-70% most times, if Motion boom has the tweeters of Mifa Wildbox..., i couldn't ask for any other better portable speaker again at least for now Nice reviews Alan, more power, life, good health & all life's goodies to you!

@@alanrossreviews No, like Goldilocks and the 3 bears but with speakers. Side by side at 100% the Bose sounded too dark and the Tribit sounded too bright so if there was a speaker between them two, I would pick that. Yeah not too bad here thanks, nothing really to report. I live a boring life lol
How can you quantify sound quality? when we talk about the budget speaker, and headphones, I always hear from promoters said not many differences, not day and night, and not 6 miles away. but How??? why can not say actually fewer people will be fussy about sound quality? if someone is really fussy about sound, I will say jbl charge 3,4,5 is terrible and JBL essential one is close to perfect. however, what are the differences between the 2 models which can justify their prices?
Not even close! Don’t get distracted by VfM…you’ll end up binning what you buy…and buying something else. So spending more £ in the long run. For 360, Bose ftw.
Confused between stormbox pro and maxsound plus. Price isn’t an issue but I’d surely like bang for a buck! My use case would be mostly indoors, maybe 2 house parties a year. Only use outdoors would be new year’s at my terrace with a gathering of 20 odd people. I’d like to hear good sound, please suggest! Getting maxsound plus at 52 USD, stormbox pro at 100 USD.

Another @alanrossreviews, can't afford to miss it, all things being equal(price), I'd choose the bose over tribit, value wise, 2 tribits will be better plus some change left but 360° degree speakers aren't my favorites anyways, the only speaker that'll impress me nowadays is a Motion Boom with tweeters, superb clarity, nice battery life, same size that defies laws of physics(in bass), full warm bass & sound in general, let it just maintain its fuller warm bass & clarity progressively from very low volume till around 75-80%, I'm just ok, i don't listen to speakers pass 67-70% most times, if Motion boom has the tweeters of Mifa Wildbox..., i couldn't ask for any other better portable speaker again at least for now
Nice reviews Alan, more power, life, good health & all life's goodies to you!
Yes audio is always about the next big thing 🤣
@@alanrossreviews lol, yh you're right, in a quest to get the perfect speaker(which doesn't exist btw😅) we keep raising our hopes high for more & more to come & diving into the oblivion
Has Motion Boom firmware 00.44 been rolled out in UK?
I kinda prefer the tribit on the sound test…
Yes bose warm bass is not for everyone but i like that
@@alanrossreviews FairPlay:)
At 100% volume, both sounded to me like absolute trash. If there was a speaker that you could fit between the two (in sound quality) I probably would go for that speaker instead.
Hope all is well Al
The minirig? With subwoofer option? How you doing?
@@alanrossreviews No, like Goldilocks and the 3 bears but with speakers. Side by side at 100% the Bose sounded too dark and the Tribit sounded too bright so if there was a speaker between them two, I would pick that.
Yeah not too bad here thanks, nothing really to report. I live a boring life lol
@@TBMartin yeah it was weird how opposite they ended up
@@alanrossreviews It was lol I bet they sound better in person.
How can you quantify sound quality? when we talk about the budget speaker, and headphones, I always hear from promoters said not many differences, not day and night, and not 6 miles away. but How??? why can not say actually fewer people will be fussy about sound quality? if someone is really fussy about sound, I will say jbl charge 3,4,5 is terrible and JBL essential one is close to perfect. however, what are the differences between the 2 models which can justify their prices?
im not sure what your actual question is? i am not a promoter.
Not even close! Don’t get distracted by VfM…you’ll end up binning what you buy…and buying something else. So spending more £ in the long run. For 360, Bose ftw.
massively over priced for a single driver!
Agree. Neither of these should be purchased. But, in a bind, get the single driver one :)
Nice T Alan
😁 Cheers 🥂
I have the Tribit and guys😂it's killing everybody speakers 😅 it's just loud after and the sound outside is crazy 🤪

motion plus for me in these categories I don't have any friends to listen to it by 360°, me and my motion plus get one more pair them im good😅😂
😅
Alan, did they fix the 5kh dip in the newer versions of the Stormbox Blast?
Well, I think you got the prices wrong in the thumbnail 🤣🤣
Checking today in UK 🇬🇧, £80 vs £250,in dollars thats actually not far off. 🤷
@@alanrossreviews i mean on the left side is bose and it shows 100$ and on the right is tribit and it shows at 300$ i think it should be swapped 🥰
@@DominikReviews 🤔👌🤪 true 😂
@@alanrossreviews bose never was so cheap till today 🤣🤣
Confused between stormbox pro and maxsound plus. Price isn’t an issue but I’d surely like bang for a buck!
My use case would be mostly indoors, maybe 2 house parties a year. Only use outdoors would be new year’s at my terrace with a gathering of 20 odd people.
I’d like to hear good sound, please suggest!
Getting maxsound plus at 52 USD, stormbox pro at 100 USD.
Tribit has more bright and wide sound imho
Not as wide as i expected given the tweeters
There's no way a plastic speaker from any brand is going to compete with Bose ( unless you start throwing the Motion Boom at the Soundlink Mini or some ridiculousness like that) We have World renowned engineering and hardware science vs Up and coming Fast Food China-Tech.... Thank you Alan Ross for always proving these things to be evident in the end. It's always fun and informative AF to watch you.
👍👍
S1?
👍👍👍
yo! 👌👌👌
another quality review from THE ALAN ROSS LABS!!! from the war pigs across the pond!!! lmfao!!!
yo! from your mad neighbour 😆
Well if i was pointed with a gun and forced to use 360° speakers, sure the tribit would be the case..
Bose aint it
Im surprised how much i like the bose but two pros for less money of course changes everything
@@alanrossreviews bose has been getting a bad name in the audio world lately i feel, they had so many fails in their previous speakers and theyr'e kinda overpriced, including the soundlink 3 that was rattling badly, the soundlink mini's that were too weak sounding, good bass but pretty quiet sounding
@@shoerice5083 for sure overpriced and old tech. I only bought it as a reference point for the tribit.
Hahaha...😂😂😂.
😎😎
bose at 70% sound so boxy arghhhhhhhh
its a single driver 🤷♂ it does start getting that hollow sound yes. but at same volume if i play my minirig mk3 the r+ sounds much fuller
Both are worse at 100% volumes
Indeed most bluetooth speakers are
Tribit tiene mejor calidad de audio
Both are not good at all, especially highest volume. 360 degree BT speakers have some issues.
Probably Earfun uboom L (V0.45), Denon Envaya 250 and Anker boost V2 are good enough for their category...
I have to admit i like the bose revolve till 80%, tight but still on warm side. I just can't live with the lack of bass on the uboom, at least on my units. Obviously the cost is an issue with bose.
@@alanrossreviews so, old timer Denon Envaya will still be the only one :)
@@aktunav yes if i can bothered to keep charging it everytime i pick it from the shelf 🙄
@@alanrossreviews yesss 😅
Jbl charge 5 kills them both eventhough it is not 360
for clarity yes but revolve has that warm bass, but muddy in comparison. if you turn the c5 around its closer 😆😆
