2 paddles all day! 4 has always been too much going on for me . I have aim for ps5 and PS4 , HEX PS4 and Ps5, Scuf , elite Series 1 and 2 etc and I only use 2 paddles . I guess since I only use these controllers for FPS games 2 paddles feels way better for me than 4. a lot of pro FPS players only use 2 paddles if any because a lot use claw as well. It’s all about comfort for me.
So I have two ps5 controllers, but I wanted to get a paddle controller for when I play fps games, specifically apex. Would you recommend getting the trigger stops for an aim just for shooters. Meanwhile I use my dual sense for my new ps5 games???
Can confirm this is a fantastic controller, its my daily driver. The build time wasnt great, was over 2 months, but i ordered mine at launch. The 4 paddle spider config is great, very easy to use. The build quality on my particularar controller was excellent, 18 months of use and still looks and performs like the day i got it
For someone who plays FPS games like Apex, adaptive trigger are essential, I had a Elite Xbox Series 2 controller and the adaptive triggers were fabulous. It’s all preference, but I have a separate default Dual Sense controller for other casual games, & still I find to take off the vibration and adaptive triggers, it’s all preference guys.
Had 2 buttons on PS4. Worked well for Warzone. Bought PS4 Aim Controller…GAME CHANGER! Took a month to fully adapt to 4 buttons but was well worth it. Love my PS5 Aim Controller. Can’t play Warzone without it.
I’m so hyped for this just got my email today that my order has been completed and is not it’s way after waiting around 2 months for production and I went for all the bells and whistles on cost me over $300 but it was actually a Christmas gift from my wife so I’m super excited it will be here just in time for horizon forbidden west and elden ring… let’s go!!!!!
2 paddles usually works for me, I just use them on racing games for gas & brake. Just bought some Extreme Rate parts for my PS5 controller to do some modding

@Leopold Bienkowski-Gibbs great... but I don't beat it up much. I'm older rarely play... it does have a tiny bit of stick drift but fixable by setting the deadzone in game. If I were to purchase one now? I'd hold out for reviews of the pro playstation one coming out in a fee weeks. It has replaceable joysticks... but only 2 paddles. If you have to have 4, this is your only go to imo

I came over here for the smart mouse clicm triggers. I really doubt about it, because in another review vis, the guy said his L2 glitched. I'm buying it for warzone and a glitchy L2 aim button is a serious no go! But then I came here, you said about the smart triggers on the L1 and R1 and you're a genius. I just gonna play flipped, so I can play with the mouse click and the normal L2 and R2. Thanks man!!!!!
Ima try the paddles out. I've never played with the paddles before and I play a lot of smite on my ps5. But one thing for sure is I'm tired of leaving my right analog stick while using abilities so as I stated. Ima try it. Thanks.

Ive played with breakout fcb fpc w.e. the lil mod that breaks out the button connections. and added keyboard keys to the back. like my icon. and I noticed. I want 6 rear buttons. having access to the touch pad or 2 dpad buttons without taking thum off of analog stick is desire-able. plus all the lil "hotglue" tac switch mods wear out too much. if you get a chance, and you get a controller maker pushing something on you, then can you ask them to protorype 6 keys or look into keyboard switches?
bought mine a few months ago, randomly turned off on me and now flashes an orange light 3 times really fast. was wondering if this ever happened to you and if you know anything about it
Man! I wish I saw this video sooner! Just got my controller today and didn't realize there were programmable and non programmable back buttons until now and I set it up wrong😰 . and i got digital triggers (didn't think of trigger effects).
When you load into farcry 6 there is the weird voice that comes on and says “press cross button to start” and it’s in like a wierd kinda Russian accent lol it’s odd
my controller for some reason came with the 4 paddles assigned to the X and it did not ask for the remap function is there any way to remap them without having the remap function

A lot of ppl who ordered theirs around the same time as me (ordered mine late July, got it late August) had an issue where the controller randomly started blinking 3 orange lights during use or when the battery died out and would only blink every time you try to turn it back on. Started on just the third day I received it. Sending it in for repair tomorrow. And my Elite 2 bumpers both double click or don’t register at times so imma send it in too (my 2nd Elite 2 controller with the same bumper issue as the first). It looked and worked amazing before the issue started tho. Definitely prefer it to the Elite 2, especially on PC, where the DualSense has much lower input delay. Hope yours doesn’t have the same issue. (Check Reddit for other people’s stories)

Bro I literally have one hand and I play PC but I use the Xbox elite controller which allows you to move the triggers to the paddles on the back my question is which PlayStation five controller allows you to do the same as the elite Xbox controller because I can’t play my PS5 smh 😢
I wish they let you select which version of the paddles you want v1 bottom is kind of like the Xbox elite series 2…… I find myself griping the bottom of the controller rather than the top so I have to consciously place my hand in the crease of the PS five controller to use the V3 bottom paddle
It's really nice and all... Actually amazing, BUT... No warranty for the stick drift is a deal breaker, especialy cause I already replaced 2 oem controllers in a year. And I just went to the store and got a new one in 5mins.

Gamer heaven, i have this issue when playing battlefield 4, I unintentionally press R3, when i get excited in a firefight- swinging the knife. My question is this: if i map a paddle to r3, will r3 stop swinging the knife? Or will i have 2x R3 functionalities?
You will have 2 buttons doing R3. I guess train yourself to stop panicking in gun fights, I do the same, but I have been kind of working on muscle memory to stay light on my sticks so I don't tense up and accidently press stuff.
I have a solution if you are playing on PC, because this same exact thing would happen to me in APEX. If you are playing on PC, download DS4 Windows software. This you can MAP your controller, change light colors, over lock it. It’s awesome. But what I have done is set a APEX profile that I just disable the R3. Now that means I can’t strike, yes, but if I am at a point in the game I need to hit someone I am pretty much screwed anyway. Now if you are playing on console, try going into settings and play around with button placement.
@@brendanschenck3229 ain't nothing like panic punching when using the PK lol, yeah I reconfigured my buttons but at the end of it my muscle memory was hard stuck with the classic settings.
In your opinion would a razer raiju ultimate user transition to this controller happily? I love having the two buttons next to the shoulder buttons but at least the aim controllers have 4 buttons. Edit: I love this controller, if it lasts its a total winner. Took about two days to develop enough muscle memory to feel great.
