The Last Exit is the final chapter of the Still Corners Road Trilogy.
What began with The Trip and was followed by The Message concludes with The Last Exit. The video, inspired by the 1975 film Picnic at Hanging Rock, finds Tessa pulled into the mysterious rocks of Joshua Tree. Tessa explains:
"In a world where everyone thinks all the corners of the map are filled in we like to suggest there's something beyond that, something eternal in the landscape and in our psyche. Maybe you don't see it every day but it's there and that's what we are trying to connect to."
With a galloping beat, teardrop vocals and the silver-tone guitar the band has become known for, The Last Exit races down a lonely highway to destination unknown. Beautifully crafted with a grand piano ending, The Last Exit will remind you of another world beyond the one you see.

I live in the middle of nowhere, in Southern Indiana, sometimes I go do donuts with my sports car in the middle of the night listening to them i also do night drives in my 370z, and have a little extra backroad fun lol, one of the best bands I've ever heard ❤

Yes, she is beautiful, talented and her psychy music is so sublime. This song talks about Hanging Rock which really exists ...I have visited it many times and I can assure you there IS something unexplainably magic about that area. I'm Aussie and the Aboriginals there consider it as being a scared place.

Seeing Still Corners perform live is now on my number one bucket list item after this year.
I used to live in Jtree on the Park boundary and ran countless miles of single track in there listening to to these guys. Jtree + Still Corners + empty miles and runners high is a winning combo...a spiritual experience. This song instantly special for me. Thanks Still Corners

Once I discovered Still Corners a pretty good while ago, I've been enjoying their music since then. Especially, when I feel need for that endorphine boost and leave the world behind at least for a while. I cannot remember if there was any song I didn't like, but I do know for sure that Lost Boys, The Trip and The Message are my first Top 3 go-to when diving into Still Corners. Each time my mind blows away to another place, I start to get the feeling that I'm onto something, on a dawn of new journey, in a new different place where I can also feel like home.
This time, it kicked much heavier while listening The Message and The Last Exit got me knocked out, because today is different than those other days before. This time I'm holding plane tickets to another country across the ocean and I told about it to almost no one. I know I needed a fresh start, but I wasn't ready until now. I can't predict what's waiting for me around the corner, but I'm sure that Still Corners and their music will soften rough edges and bring some inner peace.
