  • A-pillar tabs often break when being removed; here’s my solution. In my case, when I got this car a few weeks ago, the A pillar was barely attached because the tabs and clips were mostly broken, so I decided to repair it.

I still need to pull mine to fix the wet seat belt issue. Thanks for sharing your tips.

Ihave them cut and glued to go into the metal clips on the car body... I was wondering how high to cut them as the only two that were left did not give me a good gauge as to how tall to make them one inch 1.5 inches high and yes I am aware that you don't glue the white clips in... but I was wondering when you line the moulding up to put it back in .. do you put the white clips in the holes first or the tabs back into the clips on the car first thanks

How high off the moulding should the broken plastic tabs be that are glued in and when you reinstall the moulding to you put the glued clips in first or the white clips

The broken tabs that are glued/epoxyed as in my video here need to be repaired so they are similar to the way they were before they were broken, then they will fit just fine.
The white clips don't get glued. I suggest some silicone or Hondabond to mate them to the car. Look up killer3cylinder's video on this topic, it will help you understand.

Do you put the glued clips in first during the install or the white tabs clips in the hold and how tall do you cut the plastic tabs before gluing them in

Any of the tabs that are broken need to be glued and allowed to dry. The white clips are not glued. I suggest watching killer3cylinder's video on this topic to understand more about the caulk needed for the white clips.
