this is awesome. Can you get the job done with an iron or an air gun with a narrow barrel attachment?

I understand the level of perfection but our client won't pay for that labor and materials on one Tab .

More complex parts are being added to headlights lately (LEDs, moveable elements, etc.) and the cost is more expensive. Being able to repair a tab could save a lot of money.
This article talks about win-win scenarios for both the shop and the bill payer (check out the plastic repair section): www.autobodynews.com/index.php/component/k2/item/15517-the-best-body-shops-tips-repair-vs-replace-what-a-body-shop-should-consider.html?showall=1
If we spread the word about what can and cannot be repaired, more people will realize that they are missing out on opportunities.

    First!
Why does they put talk in heater core housing behind dash where the air distribution flaps are, it writes on housing >PP-T30

I believe the talc is there to reduce cost, reduce the likelihood the part will warp when heated and cooled repeatedly and possibly to increase strength; although I'm not 100% sure on the strength.

That is way WAY to much work for a tab haha

Would you say that if it made you $$$$$? It easily can make the shop hundreds of dollars.

Many times there is a win-win scenario for both the shop and the bill payers. Check out the plastic repair section of this article: www.autobodynews.com/index.php/component/k2/item/15517-the-best-body-shops-tips-repair-vs-replace-what-a-body-shop-should-consider.html?showall=1

@@scottb7600 For the time you put into that job, you would have to charge a lot to make a decent profit. The customer will get a couple of estimates and go with the shop that would charge probably less than half to do a job just as strong but perhaps less aesthetic in appearance.
Making the repair look perfect under the hood has its merits for the most nitpicking customer, but I think most people would be less willing to pay more for something that's not going to show when the hood is down.
You come at the customer with a hefty price, he's not going to want to hear that you'll do a better job than a typical shop; he'll just write you off as a ripoff.
