I can't thank you enough for making this video. I'm replacing the factory speakers with some 4-way, 450 watt Pioneer units. I did the door speakers already, easy-speasy. Thank you very much again. EDIT: I got this DONE in less than 30 minutes and that INCLUDED a coffee break. And now for the Pioneer head unit. Woo Hoo.
Ahh yes. I must admit that I readily enjoy the distinct vanaculor of the "urbon generation" that this young man clearly possesses. Thanx for the info yo
Thanks, this was very helpful in learning where the screws were to remove the speaker cover. That enabled me to vaccum up the bits from the speaker cover that had fallen on the speaker and was causing distortion.
Thank dude. I was cruising the other night and my rear factory blew. I was like serious. I have had this car for year and have played all kinds of music with it. Now my speaker blew. Wow. But you kind of made this seems easy to do. Now I will find me some decent speakers somewhere. I was thinking of changing out the one bad speaker but since they are kind of cheap in pairs I will do it like that. Thanks
Thanks again dude. I just did it. Now my new speakers have alittle more height than the factory so my grill don't sit flush but that's ok. My new ones sound amazing!!!
For anyone wanting a 6x9 back there that wont hit the trunk bar in the Accord Coupe, and if you want to re use your factory speaker grills: The newer Alpine Type R 6x9s fit, they have neo magnets and the mounting depth is minimal compared to 90% of 6x9s. Also Im pretty sure their Alpine Type R 6 1/2" speaker fits in the doors without an aftermarket spacer, it also has the small neo magnets rather than ferrite magnets. But only with Type R speakers that havr neo magnets, not the ferrite ones like on type S or most other speakers.
Wow, great video and glad I found it. I was prying up on the speaker grill from the inside and felt I was going to break something -and I would have !!. I thought I'd better go look this up. It was a piece of cake. Thanks!
Yes, I found that it is much quicker if you use a ratcheting 8mm box end wrench with a flex head on the back bolts that hold the speakers in. A socket is too tall because of the rear window slope. Thanks for the video.
Hey guy, thank you so very much for making this video. It is straight to the point and accurate. You made my install painless and mistake free. Thanks again. Dallas Texas
I need help bro . In my accord i plugged in a car charger and my stereo and speakers all turned off . I fixed the stereo and the speakers worked , except the 2 speakers in the rear deck they dont sound . Do you know whats the problem ? please help
Can't get any easier than this. Those factory 1 way speakers are crap, turn the fader to the rear and they can't be heard very well. I'm replacing all of mine, front and rear with 4 way speakers, i know it will sound 90% better. I've always liked 6x9 4 way trunk mounted speakers, the trunk really brings out the base in speakers.
good video but could be done in lees than minute rather than 3.24!!here is how first you show the screws 5 sec or less, then show it's location inside the trunk 5 sec, then pop the cover and slide it down on the back seat as you shown another 10 sec, find out the little bolts are 8 mm before start the video, you don't wast time talking about what size it might be!! take speakers out another 10 sec to show how to disconnect the power and BOOM in 30 sec all info is out

Could I replace my factory 6x9s with some 6x9 kickers from walmart? They're the same size...
Loving Chandler As long as it 6x9 it should work
Johnson Pich Cool... are there any extra cords I need to buy?
Loving Chandler speaker adapter plug if you don't want to cut the factory plug. But I just cut mine it just positive and negative.
Loving Chandler and some speaker wire if you don't have any
Johnson Pich okay nice... im just looking to add a little bass and clarity to my baby by mt birthday. Thanks man, one love.
did you have any problem with the screw holes on the new speakers not lining up with the holes for the original speakers?
