Hi, got a question here : If u put an all-manual lens on the Fp, is there somekind of 'release / shoot without lens' setting that u have to enable just like in Sonys and Fujis? Or the Fp will just recognize it automatically? Thanks :)
I sometimes use all-manual lenses on my FP - And you don't need to change any settings as far as I know. I sometimes use manual Canon FD lenses and also an old Jupitor lens on my fp and it works like a dream - Lovely images and a beauty of the fp is it's L mount which allows you to convert and adapt so many existing lenses.
Sigma curious how does the video resolution get effected if I shoot raw at like 3.5 crop zoom? Does the resolution adapt or is it only 1080p or 4K raw ? I heard of people using dynamic crop zoom so they can get 4K raw and 1080p raw but what resolutions are available between those 2 zoom ranges?
Thank you for the video covering details of the Sigma Fp. Question: Does the Sigma Fp utilise Pixel-Binning when recording in any formats (e.g. shooting 1080p or 4K?) Thank you
Why doesn't the FP have open gate 3:2 video recording or the ability to desqueeze anamorphic in camera in 4k? It's not technically a full frame cinema camera if it isn't using the full frame (still love my FP)
Is it possible to allow users to fully customize two dial ring in the next Fp firmware update? Well at least aputure / shutter speed / ISO / EV these 4 functions.
Thank you for covering this sorely underrated camera. Does anyone know of it's possible to output 8-bit RAW to the external SSD? It would be helpful to store both 8 and 12-bit files on the same drive.
Nice try but wrong: a RAW image is not a uncompressed image. A RAW image can be compressed loseless like any data. A "real" RAW image is exactly the information that sensor deliver before any traitement, and before the debayer alghoritm is applied. I am really surprised that SIGMA publish a video with so many misleading informations.
It's nice to see a guide to the different video settings on the fp, and explained so well - This is really useful, so thank you.

hello I would like to buy a Sigma FP... but is the HDMI socket really solid?
How stutter 4:3 frame ?
Like his own YT page stuff on the fp.
A good ambassador for the fp.

Very helpful!

You can shoot everything that you can shoot internally externally.
and now 14-bit!!
Couldn't one just set the camera at 10bit FHD cinemaDng and still walk away with awesome footage?
One could. If one were so inclined
Planned shots means commercial values.

I was thinking the same as you. So ant the end of the day, does th FP really shots RAW or not? Thanks
"Rubidium Wu"? Huh?
