I think spiders need more love.
My Thanthis deck has a spider subtheme (mostly because Arachogenesis) but I would love to make it full on spider theme.
I tried so hard to make a spider deck and i just couldnt. The spiders are all so bad
They really do I tried also making a spider tribal but it seems spiders work better in non spider tribal deck than anything else!🤣
True! Wanted to make a tadeas spider deck but other creatures are strictly better
I thought the same thing. They really just need a solid legendary creature that synergizes with reach so they can become an EDH tribal.

Crab Tribal. Imagine a crab commander in blue/green that does something like
“every time you cast a blue spell create a 1/1 crab token.
Whenever you cast a green spell give a crab +1/+1.
Pay 1 colorless -Sacrifice a crab token, when you do put all of its counters on this commander.”
So with swarm or commander damage potential. A bit arcbound ravager-ish.
I think one I'd like would be
1 black blue green
When an opponent mills a land create a 1/1 crab
When an opponent mills a creature put a +1+1 on each crab
Making it a crab mill beats deck

For the Cockatrice, I would have it put 1 stun counter whenever a player got hit by one or more cockatrice.
Maybe a Soltari commander. There's 10 of them, all in W. One in R/W. They are all small but have shadow. Maybe the commander prevents the first time a creature would deal combat damage to you and gives them a shadow counter. Then, your creatures would be able to block them. Then, maybe for the commander or maybe another card, that when one or more creature you control deals combat damage to a player, choose one of them and make a 1/1 token with the same creature types as the chosen creature.
Didn’t play during the time, (I came in during Dragon’s of Tarkir) but Kithkin please! I know, there is Kithkin legends. But they don’t care about other Kithkin.

Gonna assume bloomburrow will fix this problem, they haven't shown any " villains" of the set in card form but hopefully there's change
1st commander I built was Shelob. Spiders deserve more than 4 mana 2/4s that give you a token or two.
I would suggest making Zulkis Orzhov instead of Mono Black (having it be a Ravnican Thrull). Including White can allow you to bring in token doublers and tripplers and help further the aristorcatix build

Zulkis would really benefit from partner. Maybe Partner with red or white exclusively, or give it a red/white thrull partner/background
I need an Aetherborn Commander. And support. I just want Aetherborn tribal to beat thing.
They should errata Ebon Praetor to be a legend and boom thrulls commander. Bad one, and it's on the reserve list, but still it cares about thrulls and was printed back when most of them were.

Zulkis would likely shoot Black Market up in price, luckily we just recently got some reprints! I would love to see a Sultai Spike commander. I might have to think one up, and give it a bit of a play test.

Would love to see more Thrull and Saproling support... only recently looked into Ghave but apparently he's KOS for those that know.
I want a skeleton commander with text like: „whenever ~ is dealt damage sacrifice it and create x 1/1 „bone“ tokens, where is x is ~ power. Sacrifice 5 „bones“ to return ~ from your graveyard to the battlefield.
And he needs to be altleast bg.

Well there hasn’t been real Thrull love since the Dark with Thrull Champion which is a reserve list card actually. Endreck Sahr, Master Breeder and Tavish are your only option for a Thrull commander🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️💯
Wouldn't all the thrans die in your untap step? Unless you had another artifact that does not untap or an anthem?

Hot take... not every tribe needs a dedicated commander
Having more options would not be a bad thing, Having more tribal commanders Would be a good pallet cleanse From constantly being Bombarded With dragons, Slivers, goblins, Angels, knights, elves, Zombies.
I would say we need a Viashino commander, but they just errata'd viashino into 'lizard,' which also doesn't have a commander...

Lhurgoyf need’s tribal love, they got a commander precon deck that can’t utilize the tribal aspect of the deck because there’s is not enough of them🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️💯

Zulkis can go infinite with Ashnod's Altar. Cast Zulkis getting 1 blood pet. Sac the blood pet for black and sac Zulkis to Ashnods for 2 colorless (to cover commander tax). Recast Zulkis getting 2 blood pets. Sac 1 blood pet and Zulkis for 4 colorless and the last blood pet for black. Keep repeating this process until you have all the blood pets you want

Yeah. I was misremembering etb versus ltb. That does change the sequencing a little, but I think the results are still an infinite army of blood pets

Sac Zulkis to Ashnods to get 2 colorless and one blood pet. Sac the blood pet for a black to recast Zulkis using the 2 floating colorless. Sac Zulkis again to Ashnods for 2 colorless and 2 bloodpets. Sac 1 blood pet for black and the other for 2 colorless resulting in black and 4 colorless
It’s a sac ability, not an ltb, you have to sac him as a cost to get the blood pets

Skeletons!!!
Werewolves still deserve more love. We have ONE commander and can only play Gruul despite having ones in White, Blue, and Black.
Birds also need a better tribal commander.
I still wish that with emrakul in the moon on Innistrad, we would have gotten an Eldrazi Werewolf commander. Have it be one of the pack leaders that was corrupted and punish casting spells.
Or even a return of the Wolfir that Avacyn made, since they're permanently in their werewolf forms and can't transform back.

Allies. Wizards' last pass at allies produced mostly unplayable cards. They also do not have many good choices for commanders. The Tazris are pretty uninspiring; which leaves Rukarumel and Kenrith as the best plays.
