Part 2 has just went live if you'd like to see more of the garden! ruclips.net/video/k0zfj6Ja5qI/видео.html
This format is what I'm looking for. Love how you covered loud machine sounds with a good tune. You chose the right music to go with the enchantment of that garden.
Thank you
I find trying to get the balance of everything so hard. So I really appreciate that comment
@@FlawlessCleaningServices it's tough to please everyone. Some like the machine sounds, some don't. Some like just the sounds of raking, shoveling, clippers, digging. Some like music some don't. 🤷🏼
You have a tough job. ☺️
@@FlawlessCleaningServices ❤❤
Is that a hot water sprayer? #pls
I’m a gardener who has spent 25 years cultivating the mosses in my garden. Sure, remove it for safety’s sake on walkways, etc but mosses and ferns are huge contributors to that magical fairy-tale garden feel.
I agree, some of that moss adds charm
Exactly! And is it really necessary to use chemicals?
@@d00dl3s.d1d0pe I do have to agree, Clean the steps but leave the sides they looked lovely.
Well said. I cringed when he mentioned removing the moss from the wall. Then he went and cut out the entire fern. Mind you, ferns grow at an alarming rate, so perhaps he had that in mind.
Ferns are perfectly acceptable shade plants. But the lower wall is mostly covered with algae, which I don't find desirable.
What an effort to make this garden usable for the owner again! The only pity: the mossy stonewalls were beautiful, sad, that the moss is gone there....
I was just going to comment this, it looked like something from Lord of the Rings, so quaint!
Moss can be quite invasive though, so if they left it there it would just start growing outwards onto the walkway again
@@wb624 moss grows slow af tho
@@wb624 It grows so slowly, it wouldn't be a problem
Completely agree, the moss was a nice feature and better look I thought
Lemme be honest ,I liked the before version of the garden...it looked magically beautiful ❤
I am a landscaper and moss on stones is gold in my book😱just cleaning the walking surfaces to make it safe, keeping ferns coming out of dry packed walls(so beautiful) …please keep sides intact next time❤️
Я полностью с вами согласна! Мне было жаль очищать камни от моха и папоротников.... я хоть и не ландшафтный дизайнер,но некоторые участки не нарушала бы!
Loss of the ferns is no problem as they will regrow quite quickly (ask anyone who's tried to get rid of them completely.) The moss will regrow too but at least now it will be possible to control it so that it doesn't get everywhere which it will quite happily if left to its own devices.
Also keeps the runoff from going everywhere.
I clicked on this video just to see how far he’d go. So sad😭 I’m a garden gal and patina like that takes years.
All those cracks in the stone wall reminded me of a video I saw. Strawberry plants were stuffed in them and I thought that was a brilliant idea.
Hi, one thing I'd suggest, unless the moss is impacting people's safety I'd leave it alone, it's an incredible microsystem of tiny plants and insects and in stone walls like those it actually helps to hold them together. By jet washing it out from between the stones you could affect the structure of the wall making it unsafe. I live wild gardens like this, perfect havens for hedgehogs, badgers, small creatures like voles etc so it's lively that you've made it accessible to the property owners again. Thank goodness we still have gardens like this and they haven't all been turned into carbon copies of the "hinch" style gardens.
I agree!!
I loved the mossy walls too, but he replied in another comment that the homeowner asked for the walls to be cleaned, so that's what he did. Sad. They were beautiful.
Normally I'm right there with you loving the results but I gotta say, this one broke my heart a bit. I think I loved all of the moss and ferns and the whole secret aged garden look. But, if Steve loved it, that is ALL that matters, God bless him and you two guys.❤
That’s okay to like it that way, honestly Steve wasn’t that great on his feet and told us exactly what to get rid of, he is so excited for the rest now. Thank you for dropping by and leaving a comment 😊
It has to be said that the ferns are not much of a loss as they will regrow. I like the moss covered walls but the trouble with moss is the same as ivy, if it's not controlled it gets everywhere.
While I quite understand the reason for this cleanup it’s good to know that Mother Nature will take back her own when we leave her to her own devices. Great work boys, as usual. 💐
It was good to get the walkways clear, but I actually liked the moss on the walls - gave it more of an enchanted feel. It's a beautiful property that you've helped the homeowner rediscover. Kudos to you for your kindness.
Agreed. Some of the moss on the face of the steps and the plants growing on the face of the rock wall looked pretty cool. I think some of those plants were keeping the rocks secure 🤣
Allez au pub boire une mousse ! Et n'en parlons plus ...😂😂😂
the mossy stone walls were so beautiful and full of life. Such a pity people think life is ugly :(
I agree, it was magical, like a fairy tale about an enchanted princess.
I love all of my White brothers and sisters.
I imagine it is because moss spreads quickly and I know at my workplace it's deadly. I have some mild mobility issues and it is the devils work to tame it. While I agree the ferns and moss are aesthetically pleasing, at least they can actually get into the garden safely now.
I wouldn’t say that people not wanting moss on their walls equals them thinking “life is ugly.” People just have different preferences and that’s completely fine.
I believe this RUclipsr is learning as he goes and will take our experienced gardening tips to heart for future “clean ups”. He and his dad appear to have the best intentions but just may not know the extent of the moss eco system!
I love moss covered stones, I was sad to see them go, but I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. You guys did an amazing job!
Same. I understand removing it from steps for safety but I loved the moss covered walls :(
I thought the moss was charming too
More like some people lack taste
I'm sure in those conditions, it'll grow back quickly.
agree, they could have left the dykes with lichen and moss as it's not a comfort or safety issue
Even in its unkempt state, what a stunning garden. Im a lover of moss and would have left so much of it behind.
Omg I love the before. It’s like an enchanted Succession of plants and it’s wonderfully gorgeous. That moss on the steps and wall is everything I want in my life!😍
@@MomeGnome The steps needed to be cleaned, they were a falling hazard, but the moss on the walls and the ferns should have been kept.
Mee too, can't get enough moss and ferns. Clean algae off paths and steps but I love plants growing out of the cracks in the steps and walls.etc.
The moss and fern wall was so beautiful!
The before pictures showed an intriguing and mysterious garden, but also dangerous. The cleanup was great, except I hated to see the ferns pulled out of the wall. They were beautiful there. Thanks for what you do over in England!
@@MomeGnome Nicht die Wände! Der bemooste Boden und die Treppen sind gefährlich. Das wissen Sie doch genau, oder?
By adding gardening to your pressure washing, you have made this the most perfect channel for me to watch now. Thank you so much for posting these.
Really glad you enjoy the videos thanks for watching , more coming again soon
I agree.
Me too!
Stunning results! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I did really enjoy the video too. From MALAYSIA. Living in the tropical countries like mine all those moses and shrubs are also common to us
When he pulled the fern out of that beautiful moss covered wall.... My heart broke
I love the “salad tongs “ for the yard!!! That really saves your back!!
I was thinking wow - i am over 60 female and still have to bend down and up picking up all the stuff - I should have bought those years ago.
Yes, i loved those too!
Me too! Does anyone possibly know the proper name of those?
I call them the clappers lol, here’s the amazon link - amzn.to/3PHJGEm
I loved the wild higgledy-piggledy garden, even the green stone-pile walls. I bet its a haven for wildlife and bugs etc. So much so at first I thought, "No! leave it be!" But those steps looked a hazardous and you can appreciate all the nooks and crannies, the stone walls, etc now you can see them. So happy to be wrong. That looked such hard work. Well done both of you. 👏
ruclips.net/video/k9srncCpdes/видео.html
I can see that at one time the folks there enjoyed tinkering in their yard! It has lots of sitting spots to enjoy all aspects of their property! We all wish we could stay young to be able to do the hard work required to maintain our yards! Thanks for helping them!
So true!
I loved the overgrown look of it at first, but I guess it's different when you have to live with it. The poor owners probably didn't know where to start! It looks gorgeous so far! Excited for part 2!
thank you so much, part 2 is now live ruclips.net/video/k0zfj6Ja5qI/видео.html
I love your videos but especially love watching you, your wife and the kids at the end! Thank you for sharing them with us!
How precious the outro with your boys. I personally would have left the moss on the brick wall, it looked more enchanted ✨, but the staircase really looked great cleaned. Keep up the great job Ben.
I thought the same about the moss on the wall, it added the extra feeling of a secret garden. But a fantastic job all the same.
My thoughts exactly
I'm gutted that you removed all the moss and ferns from the walls. It took away the fairy Glen look. I can understand you cleaning the steps and walking surfaces, but would have left the growth on the walls for the wildlife. A good job on the paths and stairs though
@Carol Welfare you have to look at it in the owners eyes. If he wanted it to be cleaned, then they did a great job we cannot judge.
Personally I liked it both ways, but we went with what Steve wanted and that was it blitzed
Thanks for having me along on one of your adventures Ben, I got a lot out of this time with you. We all should help each other more these days and to watch what your doing is an inspiration! Keep up the amazing work mate i look forward to future blessings
It was great to see you working with Ben on this. Great team!
You deserve to get loads of business …..you are fab at your job and work so hard 😊
Thanks Ben another fantastic job….your back must be killing you by the end of the day😊
Do you have your own channel? If not, you should! I would subscribe.
Thank you for donating your time to allow another flawless blessing, Chris! Wishing you, and yours all the best! Happy Holidays from Tucson AZ.🌞🎄🌞
My grandparents have a home in the countryside and they have this concept of keeping a few routes clean and proper and also mowing a few walkways in the grass but leaving the rest of the garden to grow and be by itself. (Unless it‘s dangerous like rotting trees of course etc.)
I have never seen a more beautiful garden than theirs. The amount of wildflowers that bloom and all the small animals you can see at all times, it really feels like a secret paradise.
This garden slightly reminded me of theirs! Great work ❤
That sounds like my perfect garden, I live in a 60's council bungalow, luckily back them they had reasonable sized gardens, but mine can never be big enough. I've packed it with trees, shrubs, perrenial plsnts and a small wildlife pond. No grass that's too much like hardwork, the birds love my mini jungle.
You are such a good, kind man! And your interaction with your boys is so sweet. It is amazing the good you are doing in your community. Your choice of mission work blesses so many people. I wish you and your family many blessings. All the best from the southeast of the US.
That was a huge amount of work. Thank you for taking us along for the clean up Ben. 😃

What an awesome, magical garden!!! Loved every minute of this video and can hardly wait for more! My hat is off to whoever designed and created that lovely space. Hugs to your precious little ones, they are adorable!
So glad you enjoyed, join us for more soon
I like the mossy and lichen aged look!
I don’t know how anyone, even in the best of health could expect to keep up with a garden that size. What an amazing job.
Love the children with their advent calendar! So wonderful
What a remarkable transformation! You guys are like archaeologists uncovering paths hiding under years of overgrowth.
Incredible work and transformation!
Ben you are blessed 😇
You deserve an award for how amazing you all did on this. I'm still in awe.
One of the saddest truths is that as one becomes increasingly elderly and infirm, the first thing to go is usually the garden. Gardens bring such solace and joy to older people, and to see it become neglected and overgrown must be heart breaking. To know that it does so only because one can't look after it one's self must really lower self esteem.
How lovely that you guys have restored the beauty that a garden can bring to a life.
What an amazing and interesting garden and you have made it accessible to the owner again. It's a hidden gem. Best wishes from Northern Ireland.
From Cape Town and enjoy your videos very much!
Appreciate you taking your time to watch
I truly think how you seem Ms your vedios with family time is so precious and special. Building memories that will endure the test of time.
You are beautiful human beings. I watch you each time you do a garden for free. There arnt many people like you out there
Enchanting is the perfect description of this magical place! So glad you are there to restore its beauty. Thank you!
I wouldn't even know where to start. Brilliant woek.
Thanks for watching
It looks wonderful! I live in the desert in the southwest USA, and the climate is hot and very dry. Moss is unheard of. I'm amazed at how the steps were disappearing rapidly. Now they're clean, beautiful, and safe! You're so generous to do that for this person
I’m from America and just found your channel. I am so impressed with you and your work in giving back to communities and people. You are a true Angel on Earth. Nice job on the garden makeover. I can’t wait to see part 2. I also loved that you showed a small part of your your family. They are beautiful children. I’m a Grandma of two with more on the way and I loved your Christmas elf little gifts. So many people go over board on the holidays and you kept in simple and sweet. Letters and kind words are so important to children growing up. The fact that you are exposing them to letters at a young age, will help them Love it as they get older. They are more important than material gifts. Well done Mom and Dad! Keep up the amazing good work raising your family and showing them by example with giving back to others.
That was a cool garden, I can imagine now it's clean and safer Steve's grandkids are going to love the garden. Well done for that huge effort to get it tidied up and cleaned - garage cam up great with a bit of chemical! Well done to you both.
Cheers Ched, yes can’t wait to more of it in January, have a great evening
The changes are beyond wonderful, raising the quality of life. I can’t wait for part 2!
Part 2 will be filmed in January exciting
Sorry, but i Love the majestic mossy-ness of the whole area. It looks so peacefull. Life is pretty and some people dont get that🙁
Omygosh you need a gold medal for that one.
Fabulous job ! You gave the owner back a magical garden area. Can hardly wait to see the next installment ! Love your sweet boys ! ❤️
love that you share your family with us, thank you
I don't know how to express how much I admire you. You have a lovely family and I know your boys will grow up to be like their Dad. Although I live in America, I truly admire you and respect your dedication. Thank you for all that you do.
I like it. I feel peace of mind when I see the color of the grass😢❤
Oh my word... yikes thats a mess. For a senior to walk, yup dangerous indeed.... it was beautifully designed at one point. Very whimsical. Terrific task you two have gotten into!!
What an amazing transformation. Looking forward to seeing the next phase! 😎😍
Ben, what a blessing it is to see the love you have for your children.

Appreciate it thank you
What a lovely garden! And it was literally dangerous because of the dirt and grime and you guys made it look like a fairy tale garden.❤️🤗🐝
Incredibly clean from black hole . God bless you 4 your kindness.
What an amazing transformation Ben, together with your friend the garden will be a magical place when you have finished. Ben, I must say I love your little boys. They are adorable. Thank you so much for the in-depth comment and appreciating the effort me and Chris put into it. January is going to be huge, thanks again. Have a great weekend
That's quite the project. I would still rather listen to the tools and scraping than the music. What you do is magic. It doesn't need background. Thank you for your deep kindness for doing this work. So appreciated! So magical! You are creating new dreams as you spray away the moss and rake the debris up. Bless you!
God bless you and your precious family!❤
Beautiful piece of property. A perfect area to transform. You did a great job as always.
When the video started I thought it was Machu Pichu in Mexico! Wow! What a difference! Well done you! ♥️
Love how it turned out! Also, what a lovely family at the end. God bless ❤

Whenever i wnt to b calm nd relax i watch ur videos,it not only makes me happy but i felt very satisfied thnks for doing a wonderful job👍👍👍👍👍
so lovely! 🙏🙏💗💗🤗🤗🥰🥰 and i know its to each his own. i would have left moss on side walls because it gives softer look & charm to the yard, on steps i understand, slipping hazard.
What a wonderful garden! It is beautiful and seems endless. What a lot of hard work by both of you! definitely one of the most amazing gardens Ive seen. Would like to go there.
Yes it was wonderful still so much to uncover
Glad the moss got a going over. It will come back in its persistence glory. Plus it will love the clean steps. A broken neck there, could be waiting. The resident certainly needed a lot of help. I wonder where the family, if any, is doing to help!? Families can be varied, but who are we to question. This young bloke always does a good job and he's jot another bloke with him. I am waiting for fairies and elves to appear. Great work chaps. Thanks xx
Such a stunning yard. You are both so beautifully generous with your time.

I'm glad I'm not the only one upset about the moss walls 😭
That was not an easy place to sort. Love the teamwork. The steps re-appear, a beautiful hedge is now apparent and you were braving rain to do it all. I like this yard as you work on it. We get to see what nice ideas were thought of and are being recovered and renewed. On the second day, as you start on power washing, it reminds me some of having a black and white movie that is suddenly in color. The colors in the stone, brick, etc. are coming alive and not just algae green or black. That is a fascinating yard. Must have taken many years to create. Little places to sit, views, pathways and even grass meadows, as if you were in the forest. You two are doing a great job. Biocide was a good thought, will brighten the colors and keep off a speedy return of algae. How nice of you to do the house walls too. At 18:33 (joke) we see we are now at a completely new property... Thank you to the owners for sharing. Looking for January pictures. At home, you and your wife sure enjoy making surprises for your kids. Reindeer footprints and Advent calendars, etc.
As me as and Chris were doing the work we spoke about how much effort it was to build the steps and how long ago it was all built etc we found it so fascinating to uncover it all
Amazing video great work from you both. Magical outro
Great job guys, good clean work!
This is the most incredible video yet ! Once someone digs out all the stumps and dead trees, this is going to be an amazing transformation. I'm surprised that you found as many walkways and walls there. I'm sure there are more hidden. Great job! Thank you to everyone involved. Love to all.
Stumps of dead trees are vital for the ecosystem so shouldn't be removed. Same with the fallen leaves. They're meant to rot down & add nutrients into the soil whilst providing a home for vital bugs & animals. With the amount of stuff removed from here, it won't take long for the established plants to run out of nutrients and die off themselves. Kinda sad really.
Wow! What a magical, better yet, miraculous transformation of a "Once Upon a Time" garden you and Chris transformed for Steve and Jenny. Ben, your channel is the one I very much look for every Friday, for you never fail to make my heart sing! So lovely the downtime with wife and the boys!
