These types of videos motivate me to get up and get busy! I am 68 and now that I am retired my yard has never looked better! But..it is hard work! This was amazing! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️
I am also 68 and get complimented all the time on how nice my yard looks. It looked as good even before I retired and I don't know how I did it, working full time plus a lot of overtime. Now that I'm retired, it is more tiring but still very satisfying. I keep it very low maintenance as far as plants and shrubs. They are all drought tolerant (no watering) and plants are ground cover, shrubs are dwarf (no trimming or dead heading).
I am also 68 and I hated yard work when I was 18, 28, 38, 48, 58, and still hate it and that is why I pay someone to do it. LOL Wish I did like it, but nope, not going to happen. Besides I have Hay Fever. Give me a dirty greasy car to work on and I am ok.
@@fredmaxwell9619 ... Why not do both? I'd rather work on my yard or "fix" cars - than waste time at a gym or just walking around the block ofr exercise. There was a time when kids (teen-agers) would cut yards, trim shrubs, wash cars or trucks etc. Now they'd rather whine about - I can't find a job?
It was originally designed for weeding in paddy fields, hence the long shaft, like many things it's been repurposed, the bamboo crushers is another now sold as a wood chipper
I thought when you were doing the front and sides that it was going to be straight forward - but then you went to the backyard, OMG! A lot of work there. A Magnificent transformation! Good Job 💖
I used to keep my yard the best in the neighborhood. I miss working in the yard. I have a bad heart now and cannot work that hard or long. I do miss it. this is indeed stunning transformation. Good job.
The guy with the weed whacker was awesome with it like an artist he cut that lawn down sculpting it beautifully without going into the dirt and leaving holes!!!! Great job !!!
Absolutely love the work you do. You can tell you’re not afraid of getting your hands and everything else dirty. I applaud your dedication and hard work. 👏👏👏
The lawn mower sounded like a mosquito on steroids, as well! I decided his microphone must have been set to all treble, no bass! But the visual transformation was perfection!
I would have to disagree with the "King of the Weed Whackers" comment. LOL AP with Clean the City has him one upped for sure. That is his favorite lawn tool. 🤣
I love how to homeowners are always SHOCKED by the transformation...LOL As if they can't understand how cleaning it up and making it not completely overgrown and vacant looking could POSSIBLY make such a difference. LOL Great job man!!
@Fran R ... Actually, I was wondering why he did not removed those as well.... My husband always says, " when you do something good, you might as well give out your best! "
You did an exceptional job. It’s great that you actually picked up all of the grass and weeds instead of just mulching it into really small pieces and leaving it there, which so many landscapers do… even on RUclips. That makes it look SO much better. That makes you an AAAA++++ landscaper in my book. When the grass is just mulched, ESPECIALLY when it’s that bad, you can’t help but drag it in the house every time you step in the yard. If the grass is kept short it’s not to bad but the first cut makes it horrible in the house. Otherwise you can’t step on it for the first few cuts when it’s left there.
It is expensive to dump lawn waste though in many towns and cities. Plus you have to use “special bags” in a lot of places which means you have to buy them. That’s why many folks don’t pick it all up unless they have a place to take it. Just depends on the person and location.
@@coleengogerty3852 yup. That and mulching it into the lawn is better for the lawn in the long term. I have just figured out the bagger on my riding mower, and will just slip the baskets on at the very edge of my front lawn so I don't have to sweep/blow the clippings anymore. Only took me 2 years to figure out it wasn't working because it was clogged. Lol. I inherited the lawn AND the riding mower. 🤷🏼♀️
Wow. Very empressive! You did a very detailed job but you made it look so easy. It turned out beautifully. I hope you have a hot tub to enjoy this evening and an ice cold beer. Thankyou for helping others in need and for making your community look so nice.
Great job. I am glad there is someone like you who will go out there and help people who can't do it themselves, for one reason or another. Thank you for helping people. We could all use a little help from someone now and then. God bless
Talk about overgrown and out of control, this place would need at least 3 people and 3 - 4 days just to start bringing it in. KUDOS for your efforts and dedication to getting it done. Would be nice to see a follow-up in 3-6 months out of curiosity.
Nicely done. Your work cleared the way so that the new folks can see the realities of their space. There’s quite a bit of cement hardscape; your work gave them a head start on being able to see the real bones of the area. Going forward this could become an attractive space. My thought was that a whole lot of Roundup would be needed to gain real control over the space and then some really interesting plantings could come in over time. Thank you for sharing your time and talent. Your work is a real gift to the new owners.
That was the most exhausting video I have ever watched …. Yet so relaxing and exciting at the same time. Can someone explain why our brains enjoy watching content like this. I am truly curious. RESPECT for a fantastic job to a fantastic man!
Great job there Seth. Looks like a different yard. I like the before and after...it's one of those jobs you see the fruits of your labours...a nice clean establishment.
Me also, watching these videos wants me to go out and work in my yard. You did a nice job on that yard, I'm sure the new homeowners really appreciate your hard work
*Went out to meet an old lady in the hills above West Hollywood to clean her house and yard. Steps kind of up on a hill like this. Reminded me of her. Really wanted to help, but her mind was so flakey that I had to let the job slip away... Too bad, I really could have helped fix her up... So, it's always nice seeing others doing this type of work...*
Great job! I worked a job really similar to this one, in a rough urban neighborhood, where I was hired just to clean up garden areas. But the lawn person did a really negligent bad job. I redid all of their work, AND the gardens. I think tenants in any neighborhood deserve as beautiful a yard as their suburbanite landlords.
I.m not being critical, I just wish you had weeded more on the sidewalk cracks and such. That's just my favorite part to watch. You did a tremendous job

Whoever thought of and designed the grass strimmer deserves world recognition as one of the best inventions ever!!

I don’t understand why the “NEW” homeowners didn’t take care of their lawn. It’s usually one of the things done when moving into a new home.
@@4everpwboneMaybe this is a paid job that he’s allowed to film because they didn’t move in yet?

Anybody else just start laughing out loud when he pulled the BUMPER OF A CAR out of the weeds? Humanity is hysterical.
What a absolutely wonderful thing to do for someone that just moved in, and probably has lots of other things to do! Way to go!!

Seth you did a wonderful job to work alone. The homeowners will be glad.
I've watched all these lawn makeovers with 10k plus in equipment so to see you get er done with a weed eater and a lawn mower is very satisfying.
Great work think God for people like you
What potential this yard has for beautiful gardens. Great job revealing this diamond in the rough.
My only wish is that the homeowner has had such a jump on this cleanup from you is that they continue and clean more and keep up with it.
I’m so thankful there aren’t snakes where you are!

What a big difference just a little work Makes ✨😂✨
Where are those gardens?
2:58 World's most annoying mosquito. (made me laugh) Great vid! Love seeing an overgrown yard get cleaned up.
Your lawnmower sounds like an angry bee! I love it!
This yard recovery is amazing!
It sounds like when the get stuck in a tent or between 2 layers of plastic😅

Wow looks amazing. What a job.
Now, flowers and decorations plants. Good job!
Thank you to all of you for helping other people in need.may God bless
LOOK LILKE A WHOLE DIFFERENT YARD. GREAT WORK.
Masterpiece, this one. Unrecognizable from the 1st pics. WOW!!!
Look good . You need to get a leaf blower to clean bits of cuttings around .
Wow, Seth, you are the King of Weed Whackers. That was a hella lot of work. Well done, you. The lawn mower sounding like a mosquito cracked me up.

Overwhelming yard!! Great clean up! Loved the time lapse! 🇺🇸👍🇺🇸
I can’t believe you found a car bumper !!!! OMG !! Excellent makeover !!
Fantastic. you worked so hard to make it beautiful. Looking forward to your next video.
It would be good to see all that newly exposed concrete get a good power wash to compliment the yard work!
The homeowner was shocked and I am shocked too ! Great job!
Holy Jurassic park Batman!!! What an undertaking. Fabulous transformation!

Nothing that a good high pressure washing couldn't fix, not that it was your responsibility. But your part gets it started, that's for sure!
