How does this reduce the clutch pull?
Hi @02roadierider! Regular clutches have only static pressure with clutch springs. The our lock up clutch has two different types of pressure. One is a static pressure, and another is a centrifugal force so it makes more clamping force. We hope that answers your question!

If i am not mistaken you didn't even adjust the clutch. it wasn't even necessary. don't fuck with something that isn't broke
Hi Kyle! The clutch was already adjusted before the install. Different cases will require adjustments of course, but we were just focusing on the install of the VP clutch since the bike was already set up for it.
@@AIMClutches so to adjust the clutch with a VP is it the same thing as without ? Loosen the adjuster on the cable, loosen the 11/16 clutch nut, turn back with the Allen and turn right till it ‘sits’ then 1/4-1/2 turn back ?
@@NoXQc Yes, that's right. The way to adjust is the same as without a VP clutch. We recommend to follow the Harley-Davidson service manual.
@@AIMClutches Do you need to remove the VP clutch and install the stock retainer plate , then adjust the clutch or just do it with the VP on .... I have heard both ways...
@@mackmebe Hi, and thanks for the question! Yes, our VP IV is designed so that you can make adjustments to your stock retainer plate while the VP is still installed.
