I am quite a bit above the age demographic for your channel. I think why I started to follow you is because you are ‘real’. I have watched videos of for example ‘minimalists’ but while they are a bit inspiring and pretty to look at not realistic, at least not for me. It is clear you are dealing with something heavy in your personal life, your followers will still be here. Keep on keeping on, you are wonderful and I am sure your family is super proud of all you’ve accomplished at such a young age! I know I would be. 🙂
Thank you so much for your lovely comment Kimberly, this has really put a smile on my face this evening 💖 it was so encouraging to read! Thank you again, and I hope you have a wonderful week! 😊
Same here. I'm probably quite a bit older than the majority of your viewers. I started watching you a few years ago for DIY projects and found you to be artistic, authentic, charming. Seeing you take on all the challenges of home ownership and remodeling has been really fun too. You've done a wonderful job. I try to declutter and simplify occasionally. I've challenged myself to a 100 item purge. But as creative people (I am too), I think our natural disposition is to collect things and sometimes that gets a bit clutter-y. I simply choose to call this "eclectic"!! :) Don't be too hard on yourself. Give yourself a hug for accomplishing that project. Take care.
I already commented...but I agree! I am 34. I own my own townhome...7 years now...and I literally have nothing together. What you have accomplished so far is amazing. And do not feel bad about your stuff! Your home isn't full of piles of old newspapers and missing pets. Your livelihood involves knickknacks and craft supplies!!! Of course you have collected tons of things along the way, while thinking of ideas of projects to work on. I had an issue with thrift stores and homegoods...but I bought things thinking my life would be transformed...instead of actually transforming my life. You are wonderful. Do not apologize for anything!
Same. I'm 46 and I find Hermione just REAL...not like other idiot girls out there posing and acting in that "way", you know...where they act "quirky", but ironically they all copy each other and sound so beyond annoying. Hermione, you rock, you have a good heart and solid head on your shoulders! LOVE your videos! Im an artist and crafter, so if you purge very little craft and DIY supplies, YOU'RE FORGIVEN, non-creatives don't need to understand LOL
I agree as well, I'm 41 and have looked at multiple videos on decluttering as I go through it, and before I started as well, and I love the honesty presented in this and the prior decluttering videos that #Hermione Chantal has offered. Great comment #Kimberly Welt-Fragomeni :)
Just throwing it out there that "minimalism" does not mean 1 bowl & 1 spoon. It means living with the stuff that you want and everything else that you don't need/don't get value out of is decluttered from your space. The average minimalist doesn't have the bare minimum either. I certainly don't! If you, for example, have 100 pairs of shoes and love them all? Keep them! It doesn't mean you have to reduce them to just 1 pair for summer and 1 pair for winter. I'm a minimalist too but I still have a hoard of a collection that inspires me so much and I get a ton of happiness of^^
Thank you for this, I feel like this is a much more realistic approach to minimalism than what's seen quite often on the internet. I didn't mean to offend anyone with my comment, hopefully it didn't come across badly :)
I suggest that you start to use the word "lagom"! It's so handy (trust me my, mother tongue is swedish) it sort of mean "in the middle", not to much but not to little. Not a minimalist, not a maximalist but a "lagomalist"! ;-)
Oooh I love this!! I am definitely inspired to be a lagomist now 😉thank you for the tip, we definitely need a word like this in the English language too
Don't feel bad for having too much stuff! I'm 18 still living with my parents and I'm currently helping my parents decluttering their bedroom so I can decorate for them. My dad used to be so bad at getting rid of things. He used to think everything was useful and would "come in handy" some day. He's now realised he has way too much stuff and most of it is rubbish and has been trashed but so far we have complied 2 bin bags, a huge heavy duty bag and 3 boxes full of stuff ready to donate to the charity shops. So basically what I'm saying decluttering does take time and sometimes it is had to let go of things Anyway I'm rambling 😂❤️
Well done with getting rid of all that stuff and encouraging your parents, thats such an amazing achievement! My family are the exact same, it's so hard to get them to declutter but so worth it 😊thank you for the lovely comment! 💖
Me too, I'm so jelly....I have to go light blonde after being red-headed for so long because my silver hair coming in is too much now. New phase to embrace ;)
Hermione, you are a gorgeous human being inside-out! I dyed my hair like yours about one year ago, and it changed my self esteem completely. I love it but on your long curls it looks magnificent! I am binge watching your playlists, cheer for you and your resilience in heading such huge important projects that not many people would dare to even think of! You could be grateful every day for who you are, and don't let anyone or any lemons of life convince you that you don't deserve the best and to be happy! Minimalism is a word describing a phylosophy of life. It's as customised as anyone would understand it so follow your heart, give yourself time and enjoy all the journey, it's about changing yourself, not about a preset destination to reach. I have been decluttering for years and I find it so eliberating and so full of meaning, I always feel different and learn something new about myself or about life. Haha, last big time, in December 2018 I set myself to do the classic minimalist challenge with 1 object the first day and increasing to 30 objects after a month. 465 I think in total. Well.... After crossing 1500 objects I stopped counting and continued decluttering. Life may surprise you and you are a tougher cookie than you think! Hang in there and enchant us with your genuine real person honest creative beautiful Hermione! All the best to you!
Your amazing dont be to hard on yourself. Your doing an amazing job! Very proud of all that you have accomplished from buying your home. You are one of my inspirational people, we are doing up our garden and it has been a nightmare, it was basically a forest and it is finally starting to look like something
Thank you so much for this lovely comment! It's put a smile on my face! Good luck with the garden, it sounds like hard work, I have to sort mine out soon so this has reminded me! ☺️
I think you are very brave for being so open and honest about your decluttering journey, thank you for that! It took me over five years to get at the point where I’m at now, semi minimalist, and I’m still decluttering. I try to look where I came from, which was heaps and heaps of stuff, to a more manageable amount now. It doesn’t have to be a sprint, it can be a marathon...walked..slowly! You’ll get there, and even if you don’t, the journey is still worth it!
I hope you are feeling better soon and make a lot of lemonade 🍋 Your videos always make me feel better and help me deal with my lemons. Thank you so much!
Thank you for the lovely comment Isabella 💖Lemonade, and lemon cheesecake maybe! haha! :) I'm so glad they can help, your comment has helped me with my lemons too! Thank you
It’s important to remember that you’re doing this for yourself. Part of that process is coming to the realization of your living conditions and lifestyle on your own. I recently did this in the past couple of yrs. Before I started my RUclips channel.. so I didn’t get the opportunity to share my process with the world. But boy am I proud I did. I lived in a bigger home with more stuff. I went from a 4br, 3bthr, 2car garage home to a 2br, 2bthr townhome. It’s been a journey. I’m with you on the feeling in disgust and slight internal embarrassment, but it’s a good thing you got there. Because now you’re working toward a better life. You’ve got this. 😉
Spent two hours today clearing out and organising my garage. Still have a ways to go (including 8 bags for charity and at least one car full of rubbish for the tip) but BOY, IT FEELS GOOD! I can actually go all the way from the front to the back of the garage! YAY! 🎉🥳👏
I agree with taking a break when the mood doesn’t match for being positive to clean. I stashed products I don’t need back. I like watching you’re videos, I hope you feel better with whatever is going on. One step at a time, things will flow through there will be a pot in the end of the rainbow :)
You did great! I am doing the 30 day challenge and so far so good. It has not been too hard because I am both older than you and also live in a large farmhouse that used to be owned by my parents. Plenty to get rid of here!
Thanks for your honesty! I like it when RUclipsrs are genuine like you. I've been trying to organize my stuff and get rid of more things and I totally agree with you when you say you want to be somewhere between minimalist and maximalist. I personally can't be a complete minimalist. It's been difficult to get rid of a lot of things, but in the long run, it's for the better! What I always ask myself is: will I even remember this item months from now after it's been gone? If that's a yes, then it goes! And to be honest, I can't even remember a lot of the junk I got rid of because it was simply taking up space and wasn't needed! Also, on a completely unrelated note: your hair is beautiful!
Loved this video! I've come a long way through minimalism. Every time I visualize the mountain of possessions I've parted with over the last few years, I get a shiver down my spine. I feel like the first ~60-70% of my stuff was a bit of a no-brainer to jettison out of my life ASAP. It was easy to feel cocky at that stage! Now I'm down to those few layers of things that are really hard to make decisions on. They're things I know I don't *love* or use nearly often enough, yet still feel this illogical impulse to cling to. I think a lot of people experience this- At first objects zoom out of your house, until you get down to the awkward layer that requires much more introspection and deliberation. Hope you guys relate!
I agree, a couple years ago I paired down to a very small amount (excluding my art supplies), but the stuff I kept was like just “I don’t love it or need it, but what if I do need it?” kind of a thing. Now it’s two years later, aaand my life is a disaster again. I really should have just paired down to about 15-20% of my stuff but instead I just let it keep accumulating. And now I go through the entire process again :)
Your honesty is refreshing. I'm in the process myself and was feeling bad that it was slow-going, but what you said in just the first few minutes made me feel better, just knowing we should take a break when needed so that we have the best outcome. Thank you!
I just love how real you are and that's what inspires me the most and I think all of your viewers! I'm decluttering too and it al goes so slow and I never get rid of enough stuff the first time around. It can get so discouraging so it really helps seeing you do this and talk about it. Also I hope everything is fine with you personally if you don't feel like decluttering or filming just take some time for yourself x
It takes time to take on this daunting task (took me 3 yrs). Once you've completed one section or room, you'll be able to take on the next room with a better attitude. Trust me on that one! Whatever is going on in your life, THE best thing to do is to declutter your "happy place". You're doing great! Keep it a goin'!
Thank you so much for being honest and chatting with us about the process and how its changed your life thus far! It has been so inspirational; especially seeing everything from start to finish and not just the perfect end. ❤ Good luck with your craft declutter.
I’m so happy to hear about your journey! One thing about RUclips and minimalist lifestyle videos is the rampant consumerism paired with this idea that you can “just get rid of it later”. Decluttering is great, but that stuff has to go somewhere, and it often ends up in developing countries as garbage. Buying less and buying intentionally is so important for our future. Cultures gotta change! And I’m sorry to hear about your life lemons. Solidarity, sister!
an honest de-cluttering video...I think the key to keeping a home de-cluttered is to do it regularly, maybe every quarter? And that rule about if you buy something then throw out its older counterpart. Oh god, my house needs to be purged so badly...I am a terrible collector of stuff. Love your videos and keep making them!
That's such a good point! I think keeping on top of it is so important :) Thank you so much for the lovely comment, good luck if you end up decluttering!
Hi Hermione, I have been decluttering since last year October when I moved to a new place and I must say I am a much happier person now. But my journey of decluttering isn’t over yet. After watching this video, it has inspired me to declutter even more...I really enjoyed this video. Thanks very much!!! Xoxo from Singapore 😘😘❤️❤️😆😆😆
I thought you were going to KEEP 100 items and got excited! I did one major item declutter back in December and one major clothes declutter last weekend. It feels soooo good! All my clothes are my favourite clothes now (and they fit in 3 drawers) - every day I wear something I really like .
Hi Hermione I just wanted to say that whatever you're going through at the moment and however tough it might be for you its all for a reason, your path in life is mapped out for you so sometimes things need to change to enable you to stay on the right path. Your journey may be tough but know that we are all here for you and we always enjoy your uploads, keep your chin up you've got your whole life ahead of you, smart, kind, beautiful and talented all you honey.
I read Marie Kondo's book a few years back and it came in my life at the right time - I was still living at my parents and all my belonging were in my bedroom. I had a decent size built-in wardrobe and it was FULL of stuff I never looked at - that's when I decided to just get rid (donate) everything I didn't use/need. When I moved I started accumulating again a little bit, but when the show came out on Netflix I got a second wind and I've decluttered again. It feels so good, and I love watching these videos so I keep being reminded to do it regularly. I need to do my kitchen soon, I'm aching to get rid of extra dishes and glasses and spatulas i never use!! Can't wait to see your big pile at the end of your journey!
I made the same mistake, I moved from one state to another and instead of decluttering when I was packing, I just packed everything then I was stuck with all this. I decluttered about 4 years ago when Mari Kondo 's book came out. Oh what a great feeling. Now I do it every January and July. It's amazing. I no longer purchase things just things lol. Great job darling!
my declutter fun is to get a box sometimes from the supermarket near me and fill it up. It just has to leave the house, it may be going anywhere, but i love when it's full!
Thanks so much for the honest chat!...you are definitely not alone...I too have been inspired by minimalists, although I have managed to declutter a lot over the last year I'm not a minimalist and that's ok!...I think like you say it's about finding out how much stuff is good for you and brings value to your life and making better choices about what we do buy. No one is perfect but just wanted to say thanks for showing such a realistic approach to the de cluttering process 🙌🏻💕xx
Thank you so much for this lovely comment 😊this has really inspired me to keep going with this approach 💖it's definitely ok to be somewhere in the middle! 😊
Dear Hermione....I see you're struggling but I always enjoyed your videos, your beatiful works, the way you are.. you have such a good taste and you are so brilliant, don't throw you down. We admire you!
*pauses video* it sounds to me like you've got a pretty good grasp on the minimalism thing. It's not about living with next to nothing ( some do as they have learnt to live with less.) But the point is to live intentionally. If you need it or if it services a purpose, you can borrow or buy said item. And if not, don't. Seems to me your off to a great start 😊. Xx
Thank you so much for sharing uour journey Hermione! I’m also on my way towards being less of a maximalist, but don’t quite want to become a minimalist neither. Life is always full of bumps, so thank you for being honest. Hang in there, you’re doing great! You actually inspire me to push forward and do better even in difficult times. Love from Switzerland.
Chatty Kathie Is your RUclips name a word play on the Chatty Kathie doll that was around in the 1960’s? I had one I just loved and haven’t heard the mention of that doll for a long, long time. 🙂
I hope things settle down for you. Life can be so difficult but things do improve over time. You have done such a beautiful job with your house, it is looking gorgeous. Don't be hard on yourself, you need time to heal and relax and take care of yourself. You channel is one of my favourites, you are such a sweet and lovely person and your content is great. You will get to the lemonade in time.
Don't be so hard on yourself, love! You have things because your job revolves around DIYs and crafting. :-) Those activities require things. Also, the best decluttering advice I ever got was, it's like an onion. You have to peel back the layers. All the stuff didn't come into your life over night, so it's not going to leave over night, either. Every time you go back over an area, you'll get better. :-) ❤
Girllll!!! Your hair is amazing! It looks so beautiful on you. I started watching your videos late last year (I think April 2018?) And now, I'm still here. I have a whole different lifestyle in the summer but now, I'm cleaning and organizing almost everyday! Love ya girl! Keep going!
Hermione, your first de-clutter video inspired me and like you, it wasn't a full job, but hey we are getting there. Also just want to say, your hall framed wallpaper picture: I found a really contemporary design paper and did the same for my hall. Love the result. Keep up the videos.
Love your videos! 💓 BTW minimalism is a very personal and subjective term, for some is 3 make up products, a bowl and a spoon and for some is a whole make up collection and 5 dish sets. Both are valid and great, don't feel discouraged or pressured to have less or more, focus on having enough for you. Lots of love 💓
I didnt set out to have so many things, but we inherited so much from rons parents when they passed away, and then my son moved back home, and all his stuff, and now our house is SO FULL!!!! I have been spending all my free time trying to go thru and declutter. The thrift shop loves me right now, LOL
Hey don't put yourself down for last week, everyone's idea of what you should have is different, You do you! You've done brilliant, big pat on the back.. me and 3 friends are playing the minimalist game this month, so far so good! 😊
Thank you for the inspiring comment, I definitely needed to hear this :) Good luck to your and your friends with the decluttering, hope it goes well :)
Love, love, love this video. Even though I have decluttered soooooo many times, I feel like I could sooo do this with my movies (maybe not 100, but around 50), as I am a bit of a hoarder with those. And like everyone else, I so love your hair color!
I recently bought an apartment and in packing and moving I've realised how much shit I have! So I completely understand and emphatise on the throwing out of things. I've also come to realised that I used to buy a lot of unnecessary stuff and have cut down on my shopping etc. Plus having a mortgage means I don't have money for a lot of things...! I've kept some things as they are sentimental but to be quite honest, parts of me felt like just throwing out everything and starting afresh! Good luck :)
Fantastic! I’ve been decluttering my life too. I am defo not a minimalist. I love my stuff. I declutter on and off through out the year but I am having a big declutter at the moment. I often redeclutter as I feel a cupboard or room needs to be looked at again. When you said a hundred items I was like omg thats a lot but it soon adds up and every little helps, even tbe odd coke can. I saw something a few weeks ago that I am going to do. It suggested that for the forty days of Lent you get rid of something around the home or in your wardrobe. My loft is a mess and i want to go through a box everyday and my wardrobe as I have far too many clothes. I enjoy watching your videos which are always fun and inspirational and I look forward to them every week. What you have done to your new home is amazing. You have both worked so hard. I hope lifes lsmons stop falling your way soon. Take care Hermione x
Hi Amanda, thank you for your comment ☺️ I hope your decluttering journey is going well. It definitely all adds up, even if it's just something small here and there. That sounds like such a great idea for lent, I might actually try that myself! Good luck with your loft declutter, that sounds like it will be a challenge, but so rewarding when done! Thank you for the lovely comment, have a great week 😊
I just want you to know that you’re amazing! You’re going to get through anything that you’re going through! You’re smart and beautiful! I love your videos!!! Sending love! 💜💜💜
I have decluttered a lot of stuff recently from my attic. It simply piles up when relatives die and you inherit stuff from them you always liked but simply realise at some point that you will never use it. It's a process and I did get rid of stuff I really needed a bit later. That happens but it's okay. You can either repurchase it or change your plans. :) Also my parents gave up their house recently and.... guess what? I collected stuff from my old room or from them that I am piling up again. ;) I see a new decluttering on the horizon.
Fantastic effort. We are in the middle of packing so decluttering as I go along! I am also a mad crafter so much scrapbooking items and patchwork fabric😂😂
Really like your videos!!!! Inspiration for my own projects and plans. Little tip in decluttering; make a list of things you allready have, or if you want to go a step furder, a list of things you will never buy again. That helps me big time when im bored and in the shop with discounted stuff in my hands. I check my list, and move away from it. Hihihihi good luck!!!
“I believe when life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade...and try to find someone whose life has given them vodka, and have a party.” Loving these decluttering and organising videos they are even making me organise better. well, at least try lol.
You have energized me to tackle clutter again - I'm going to do the 100 item clutter as well. I already have 20 with no effort, so maybe it should be 200!
Dear Hermione, your journey is very inspiring, I'm following along at home! :) i hope you are feeling better about life stuff ❤️ You are truly an amazing, kind person 😊🌷 As for the decluttering, take our comments with a grain of salt, don't feel pressured to get rid of things just for the sake of it (even Marie Kondo admitted that her method is not at all about minimalism) On the other hand, in this video you seemed so motivated, and your voice was very enthusiastic. Keep going! 🙌 A fellow declutterer from Hungary ❤️
I've done 10 of these 100 item declutter videos - I can't believe I had that much to get rid of, when I don't consider myself someone who holds on to clutter! Granted, it was over the space of two years. P.S. I'm sorry you've been having a hard time. Hope things are going better now.
Good luck being a middle-ist! Hopefully you can turn your lemons into lemonade! Also great job decluttering - you’ve done much better than I could have!
I love your videos and I love your attitude. I hope that whatever you are going through that you realise how powerful you are and that you are your own hero. Xxx
i tried "minimalism" and "decluttering" when i moved and i got rid of at least ten large bags of items for my room alone. when i moved to my new place, i realised that i actually needed a lot of the stuff i'd thrown away which sucked. so i ended up buying back about a tenth of the items...not too bad considering i did manage to get rid of a lot + the new items were prettier and fresher.
It is quite clear youve been going through some stuff and I hope you are doing ok now. On the positive side, I really enjoy the "new" you a lot more to be honest. Stay strong girl
FYI Most fire extinguishers can be refilled. As for the declutter project - Good Job! For most folks "stuff" is not necessarily useful, but used to fill in empty spaces in other areas of the buyer's life. Then there is that other issue where the more space you have, the more stuff you get to fill in the space. That you are paying a premium for in the first place. :) Looking forward to the next adventure!
Oooh thank you for this info, I might look into that :) I have two of them that have expired That's so true, as much as I like to fill space, I need to remember that I don't have to fill it all 😊thank you for the comment!
I find the best way to declutter and keep up with it is to assign a space to a category of things. The amount of space depends on how much space is actually available. Then fill that space, and when things start to overflow, go through the things again and winnow down what I want to keep that fits n the space.
That's such a great idea!! Thank you for the tip, I'll definitely try this myself. I've noticed that in my wardrobe, if I buy anything new, I wont have a hanger for it, so I'll have to get rid of something! :)
Hey, don't be too hard on yourself. I think the most important thing is that you decided to change how you've done it in the past. You'll get there! :)
I am quite a bit above the age demographic for your channel. I think why I started to follow you is because you are ‘real’. I have watched videos of for example ‘minimalists’ but while they are a bit inspiring and pretty to look at not realistic, at least not for me.

"Progress, not perfection." I love that! It's been a S-L-O-W declutter for me. Hoping to tackle more this week. Thank you for the inspiration! 💖💖💖

I still can’t get over your new hair! It’s so gorgeous ❤️

We NEED a finished house tour 😍😍😍

Hang in there and enchant us with your genuine real person honest creative beautiful Hermione! All the best to you!
Your amazing dont be to hard on yourself. Your doing an amazing job! Very proud of all that you have accomplished from buying your home. You are one of my inspirational people, we are doing up our garden and it has been a nightmare, it was basically a forest and it is finally starting to look like something
Thank you so much for this lovely comment! It's put a smile on my face! Good luck with the garden, it sounds like hard work, I have to sort mine out soon so this has reminded me! ☺️
You should celebrate small victories it is not silly. Small changes lead to bigger changes. Keep up the good work!!!
The red hair with that green jumper looks so nice 🤗
I think you are very brave for being so open and honest about your decluttering journey, thank you for that! It took me over five years to get at the point where I’m at now, semi minimalist, and I’m still decluttering. I try to look where I came from, which was heaps and heaps of stuff, to a more manageable amount now. It doesn’t have to be a sprint, it can be a marathon...walked..slowly! You’ll get there, and even if you don’t, the journey is still worth it!
Your hair looks soooooo much better RED!!! So pretty! You're so sweet and honest too, addressing the comments. You go girl
I hope you are feeling better soon and make a lot of lemonade 🍋
Your videos always make me feel better and help me deal with my lemons. Thank you so much!
Thank you for the lovely comment Isabella 💖Lemonade, and lemon cheesecake maybe! haha! :) I'm so glad they can help, your comment has helped me with my lemons too! Thank you
Sending so much love! 💕💕 I truly hope you're doing okay, remember it's perfectly fine to take any time you need to feel better!
Thank you so much!! 💖😊 that means a lot to me!
You and your house are beautiful xx
Let’s get hermione to 400k !!!
One step at a time, things will flow through there will be a pot in the end of the rainbow :)
i feel like your videos are always so well organized i love it :)
You did great! I am doing the 30 day challenge and so far so good. It has not been too hard because I am both older than you and also live in a large farmhouse that used to be owned by my parents. Plenty to get rid of here!
Ahh amazing, I hope the rest of the challenge goes well, good job on getting started 😊
@@HermioneChantal Thank you! I actually finished up day 22 while watching this video!
100 items from your house!👌that's a good approach!!! I love that tip!💜💞you are so pleasant to watch 🌻
Thank you!
Ok, soda can was a cheat, lol!
Don't beat yourself up. You are always inspirational for many of us watching.
I love the honesty and self reflection! Thanks for being real with us.
You should have a go at playing the 30 day minimalism game!
Your hair looks amazing, please do a hair routine vídeo ♥️😘
I haven't heard anything about Ben. Everything good?
Thank you for your comment, I will probably need to address this properly soon 🙁just haven't found the right time!
@@HermioneChantal oh boy. we're here for you, sweet Hermione :'(
Hermione Chantal aww, I'm sorry ❤️❤️
I was just thinking that and then i saw your comment...😢
Oh sweetie it will be okay! Exs are that for a reason!
I really like how real this video is. Decluttering is not an easy journey but so exciting in the same time!
I enjoyed this video immensely! You’re so refreshingly honest and funny. Yay for decluttering more stuff! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I think you should do the 30
Day declutter - each day ie; day 1, one item day 25, 25 items xx
an honest de-cluttering video...I think the key to keeping a home de-cluttered is to do it regularly, maybe every quarter?
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, THIS IS YOUR HAIR COLOR!! It’s absolutely beautiful on you
I thought you were going to KEEP 100 items and got excited! I did one major item declutter back in December and one major clothes declutter last weekend. It feels soooo good! All my clothes are my favourite clothes now (and they fit in 3 drawers) - every day I wear something I really like .
Progress not perfection is a fantastic quote, Hermione. Great channel and another great video. Keep going! I’m glad to be following your journey ❤️👍🏻x
It definitely is! I'm looking forward to watching your process 😊 love all your videos anyway xx
You’re doing a really great job Hermione! “Progress not perfection” - I LOVE this. My new mantra xx ps: your hair looks bomb!!
Xx
you should definitely do a craft declutter video, my craft room really needs to be worked on and i need help
I'm going to do a before, during and after photo collection decluttering my craft room. It's a bit overwhelming right now.
Can you include cleaning out the frig in the 100 item count. Lol 😂
Haha yes if you want to 😉
Chatty Kathie Is your RUclips name a word play on the Chatty Kathie doll that was around in the 1960’s?
Keep going!
You're doing a GREAT JOB! The journey can get complicated...your positive attitude is going to get you through it all!💕
You did a great job on decluttering your stuff in your house. Great video as always. Thanks for sharing with us!
Also a lady named Myquillyn Smith wrote a book about Cozy minimalism, maybe that’s a style of minimalism that would suit you? 😊
This video has made me want to start my decluttering journey. Thanks for the inspo Hermione.
Hope we can get an updated house tour soon! Also I’m loving you’re hair color! Yay for both of us gingers! ❤️😊
Progress not perfection is going to be my new moto, we all have bad weeks but great to see you bouncing back your doing amazing! 💝
Hope things are going better for you now- great job decluttering. I love your videos. Your very pretty too- luv your hair.
Not gonna lie, I actually really liked the way those blue glasses looked on you along with the flower crown
It definitely is a journey! I took me weeks to do my childhood bedroom, and you have a whole house to clean!
I hope all is well with your relationship. Changing hair color, decluttering everything - sometimes these are not good indicator :I
You have energized me to tackle clutter again - I'm going to do the 100 item clutter as well. I already have 20 with no effort, so maybe it should be 200!
Love your motivation! And do not stress out ... there is no such thing as too many craft supplies!
Dear Hermione,
your journey is very inspiring, I'm following along at home! :) i hope you are feeling better about life stuff ❤️ You are truly an amazing, kind person 😊🌷
As for the decluttering, take our comments with a grain of salt, don't feel pressured to get rid of things just for the sake of it (even Marie Kondo admitted that her method is not at all about minimalism) On the other hand, in this video you seemed so motivated, and your voice was very enthusiastic. Keep going! 🙌
A fellow declutterer from Hungary ❤️
I've done 10 of these 100 item declutter videos - I can't believe I had that much to get rid of, when I don't consider myself someone who holds on to clutter! Granted, it was over the space of two years.
P.S. I'm sorry you've been having a hard time. Hope things are going better now.
Good luck being a middle-ist! Hopefully you can turn your lemons into lemonade!
Also great job decluttering - you’ve done much better than I could have!
I love your videos and I love your attitude. I hope that whatever you are going through that you realise how powerful you are and that you are your own hero. Xxx
I like your haircolor. Maybe you could experiment with some warmer colors on your lips, nails and eyes to compliment your new look.
Thank you :) yeah I always stick with the same pink colours, I should really switch it up!
I needed this inspiration! 😍love this series so much, you’re great.
i tried "minimalism" and "decluttering" when i moved and i got rid of at least ten large bags of items for my room alone. when i moved to my new place, i realised that i actually needed a lot of the stuff i'd thrown away which sucked. so i ended up buying back about a tenth of the items...not too bad considering i did manage to get rid of a lot + the new items were prettier and fresher.
It is quite clear youve been going through some stuff and I hope you are doing ok now. On the positive side, I really enjoy the "new" you a lot more to be honest. Stay strong girl
You don't need to redeem yourself! you make great DIY videos on a budget and need craft supplies!
Can I just say, even though it's off topic, Your hair looks so good now. Also the colour of the jumper really suits You.
Looking forward to the next adventure!
Oooh thank you for this info, I might look into that :) I have two of them that have expired
That's so true, as much as I like to fill space, I need to remember that I don't have to fill it all 😊thank you for the comment!
I just found your channel yesterday and I am enjoying so far. Bermuda
Don’t be so hard on yourself sweetheart, you’re doing great 💕
I find the best way to declutter and keep up with it is to assign a space to a category of things.
I find your realistic approach inspiring, you're good at what you're doing. Much ❤ from California
Your home is looking beautiful!
Great job, going to do this... 100 things. I need to go through my craft supply!
