- Changing perceptions is a series of short documentary style videos that aim to change your perceptions of certain social issues and problems.
The first episode "No place to call home" captures the stories of five homeless people living in Wolverhampton. I decided to create this after speaking to a homeless individual, hearing their story and realising just how bad that it was.
If you would like to support local food banks, homeless shelters or local homeless people check out the following information for links and sites of organisations in Wolverhampton:

I doubt they will ever read this but thank you to those who were interviewed, as without them this would not be possible!

Extremely sad to see- i was born and bred in Wolves, had a mental/nervous breakdown, was consequently kicked out of my home by my 'family', ended up on the streets! To cut an extremely long and tragic story short- i ended up attempting to take my life with 2 nails shot into my heart with an industrial nail gun! Somehow survived- family still does not want to know me, all through my mental illness! My heart and soul goes out to everybody on the streets, and i help them at every opportunity that i can- they too are people, human beings whom deserve the right to be treated with love, respect and care- to all the masses out there who do not give a damn, i say to you- "there but for the grace of god go you all"!
Peter Turley this is so upsetting :(
I'm currently classed as homeless, hidden homeless not street homeless xxxxxx

Oh no! 😲
How did he die?
the reality in this is hard to face but our countries need to try and help, i mean truly help them. We live in countries where there should be enough for everyone. For god's sake it starts with love.
If you Cannot pay your basic bills / food / roof and small amount aside - Do NOT have KIDS
Housing should me max of 6 years . That’s time to get on your feet
England have produced an ancestry of unemployed people who have never contributed to society . But they will stop babies like lollies and the tax payer fits the bill
I work full time - I have two tweens, a nice house - I saved and payed and all is great . Never needed gov assistance.
While these “homeless “ were younger , they didn’t study / work hard . I played rugby, studied post grad and worked full time. I didn’t go out on the booze every night .
Now these homeless want what I worked my butt off for ??? No way , less community housing
So sad 😭
its a crwal world we livin in :(
Wolverhampton has become a derilect city, previous councils in charge from most sides of the political spectrum let wolverhampton and the most needy rot, shame on them.
