Restaurant Inspection Goes VERY Wrong… In Wolverhampton

- Gloveless Health Inspectors John and Faye are back in glamorous Wolverhampton. Fingering their way around every crevice of an unsuspecting Fish and Chip shop, they manhandle every single piece of filth they can find.
They find so much in fact, they call their, gloveless, boss for back-up…

I'm convinced that it's the hats that make people take them seriously.
Or possibly their I.D.
@@howey935 Definitely the hats
Oh it’s definitely the hats 😂😂😂😂
The hats that don’t cover all there hair in a food shop 😜
@@benh2156 100% the hats.
Omg She touched rat droppings with her hands, I can't believe it
Gordon's school that is
You've probably eaten a few. And payed money for that.
@@jakatom true most of us probably have I’ve accidentally ate at a 3 and a 2 a couple times cuz they didn’t have the sticker up
I rarely order takeaways anymore after watching these. Just knowing what is allowed to stay open is sickening.
Cannot fathom how this shop was a tough call for them to close down....wow.
That's why i love living in a country where they are extremely strict with these things, you can actually trust the food you are served.
@@radikaali the uk has the highest health standards in the world.
@@parkeydee Any source on that because i bet you don't find single restaurant in that shape in the Nordic countries.
You do right, dirty b'stards
@@parkeydee Are you sure? These lot open and close businesses for fun! These lot being the Restraurat owners!
Disgusting, but it looks good at the front of the shop, clean well kept! Just goes to show you can't trust a food outlet by it's front of the shop appearance!
... its front
@@SpeccyMan it's an affront.
Man its almost 6am.... I really need to go to sleep
4:47 Why is it a difficult ruling! dutty rat droppings everywhere!
its only difficult if the owners are foreign. because theyre scare of being called racist.
Doesn't matter what colour your skin is, if you got master splinter leaving his crap around , shut it downnnn 😂 @@jamiew1664
As a pest controller in the UK. My advice to anyone is to always, if you can , check around the back. Most shop fronts will be kept usually tidy and clean. Not necessarily ‘clean’. The fronts usually shiny because of the overuse of stainless steel cleaner and not any sanitise or bacterial cleaner. If a takeaway or restaurant keeps a clean and tidy back bin area then usually the rest will be up to standard. The amount of times I’ve heard after checking under cookers/fryers, “ oh we clean under there every day or twice a week” and I pull out a shrivelled black hard potato. It takes a very long time for that to decompose like that so i know it’s BS. Mix the lies with the plain ignorance and ‘playing dumb’ makes it very tough. This is more apparent now with the culmination of council budget cuts, fear of ‘racial profiling’ businesses and too many of those two plonkers. I really wish there was a change to the system and a higher standard set on food practices.
I realize that cleaning is a matter of indulging my favorite neurosis, but I really cannot understand how anybody can tolerate such conditions.
The first time I seen rat poop being taken as evidence lmfao
Wtf?! Why is no one wearing gloves?! Wtf!?!
Condoms
Bio hazard suit
I might of eaten there as I lived in Wolverhampton for years... Great
Me to... 🙄
Still alive? ... you're ok bruh.
Built up immunity to covid, that did!
I still live there 🤢🤢
Poor bloke hope you find hope
I live in Wolverhampton and that’s not the worse. One takeaway once had a dead body next to the food preparation area. It was immediately shut down by a police officer. You can find all about it on the net. Even made the national news.
I live near pv and not heard about it yet my boyfriend will know ill ask him if he knows about it m how creepy . But its down the road from heath town and people are always being killed round there . Wolves turning to shit .
Good morning guys my favorite episodes ❤ from UK ❤
Ketflix and Pills I like the name haha 💊
You know they knew about all the problems. 💚💚
I’m from Wolverhampton and seeing all these videos are making me worried about getting a takeaway 😅😂
Savannah Phillips Do you remember the news about the dead body that was found at the takeaway in Park Village?
Same I've lived in Wolverhampton all my life haha
Pussy
It's on Dudley road or it was Miami chippy.
Ahh Wolverhampton... the Paris of England
Why thank u kind sir.
Why thank you
@森林雪 Full of immigrants.
I live near the countryside of Wolves, Wolverhampton is a complete shit hole.
@@leehenry5764 don’t say that man that’s quite rude and racist
Good to see a shop this bad actually closed down! A very rare thing. They don’t like to close them because it could be detrimental to the owner. Well let me say this tough!! The customer should be able to go into these places knowing full well that the food is okay not maybe ok!! If the owner wants to continue the business he wil, heed advice and get cleaned up!!
Why is it always Wolverhampton lol?! 🙈
either that or Dagenham
It's an area with a large immigrant population. A lot of them have lax attitudes towards food hygiene
Do you remember about the dead body at the takeaway in Park Village?
@@mrjohn.whereyoufrom yes lol ....

Now you know why I do all my own cooking and never ever eat takeaway food.
Lmao

U do not know what a rat dropping looks like. A-what.
her: *oh, excuse me can you please say that straight into the camera, thanks*
Oh bloody 'ell .. I thot tha' wuz brown rice!
They have every right to close down the takeaway shop as its a massive health and saftey hazzard. For that the owners should lose their licenace permantly .
Im from wolverhampton i would like the name of the chippy so i never order from there please 🙏
Looks like its the row of shops on the road that st johns retail park is on .
Looks like Dudley road but also reminds me of stavely road in Reans, it’s put me off as I’m sure ive used both of these in previous years and they look clear in main area x
@@jennyfoster792 it's defo mot Staveley Road but it might be near dudley I'm not 100 sure it also might be near avion centre
It's dudley Road, this is an old video and Im sure the shop closed down a while ago
Sanjay Kumar I thought was Dudley Road
That's why I cook at home.
We all know health concerns give that flavour 🤣
I remember a while back going to this restaurant and I smelled a septic smell a few months later, the place was noted for critical violations like bad food storage temperatures, rodents and insects, as well as leaking sewer pipe go figure
No takeaways for me! That turned my stomach over 🤮
The way they touch the filth with their bare hands 🤢 even with gloves on I’d be utterly disgusted
"Ye only got cold water"
**Me, with no heating** lol
If my boss saw a food prep area like that, WE'D have been battered
In all the years I was a pub manager we never had a food inspector visit during the evening or at a weekend.
I worked for years at a Chinese and we only had inspectors on evenings and/or weekends. Guess it differs depending on type of establishment or something.
0:54 washing your hands with hot water doesn't kill any more germs than if it was cold. It would have to be boiling to do anything.
Yes but you wouldn't keep your hands in cold water for very long.
@@leedsman54 Seems it would just be a matter of preference then.
Warm water helps remove oils, it's about removal of contaminates not killing germs.
@@utubeb14 I agree, warm/hot water is definitely helpful as a solvent for removing more stubborn or solid contaminants, but I think the soap is still doing most of the work when it comes to removing oils.
@John Smith no u
There was a fast food restaurant in Nottingham that found fecal bacteria in food on not one, or two occasions, but 9 occasions.
Dudley road what do you expect
Not that 🤮
thats just disgusting and these fish & chips shop charge soo much! even the medium chips are £2.00 which are prepared in such filthy room!! In case anyone missed the fish fillet which was on top of a filthy sink. Criminals!
Good name for that restaurant....Pukka Pies. Prepare to puke a pie after eating there!
"...dont compromise."
great channel, thanks ive just subscribed :D
That’s not far from where I live. Never went there thankfully 😅
You can not wash your hands properly in cold water. When washing your hands the water should be as hot as you can stand without it burning you.
I never use takeaways and i rarely use restaurant's because my aunty was a health inspector for over 30 years. Listening to some of the things she came across a work is enough to put you off not only eating out but eating anything. She also told me to ask for a look at the kitchen and if they wont show you theres probably issue's and u should leave. I was in amsterdam with her and we went for pancakes and she asked if she could see the kitchen then. The owner was more than happy to show her and she was more than happy with the cleanliness.
As a retired professional chef, I have no sympathy for a restaurant owner who doesn’t understand food safety, cleanliness and food borne illnesses. Nobody should be allowed to open a restaurant without a thorough understanding and education about this.
Delicacies in Wolverhampton are different! Lol
I worked in a restaurant and something like this would have been unacceptable.
Homemade food is the best option - the only way to know what you eat.
I wish these people would come check out Birmingham, they would have a field trip!
I don't eat anywhere below a 4 (hygiene rating) although 3 is definitely the lowest I'd go. Also, if I cant see the kitchen and whats going on in it, I won't eat from that shop.
As a qualified Environmental Health Practitioner, I would never eat at FHRS shop of 3. 5 isn't necessarily hard to get and 3 is not a happy median, it's quite poor in fact.
@5:04 Maybe that's the restaurant's name....I assume ....on the front glass door
Pukka Pies... don't compromise. Yes, only the finest filth will do!
It's not only Wolverhampton. Just tale a look at the Asian kitchens in Dudley, Walsall, Birmingham and anywhere else around the area and you will find they are the same.
I think Gordan Rasmsy should come here.
🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮I feel sick omg now that's nasty really dirty!!
All food places must be keept very clean,Very clean,These inspection people can turn up any time they want,They even turn up to my work placament at the shops and kebab shop,They check through every thing,Can even get the Business closed down,If stays filthy and if any Customers get ill,That can turn out to be worse
Ouch!
Oh god I'm moving out of Wolverhampton now 😭😂😂 ciao
There's at least one place like this in every town or city worldwide.
Fay can get it.
slogan on the shop window front; "don't compromise!" - they should add below; "Ask our rats!"
They are the real life equivalent of Mulder & Scully I
Really puts you off eating out
No more takeaway food for me
Wolvo wouldn’t of guessed 😭😭
Shame on you Wolverhampton. The health inspectors let waaaay too much slide. Truly Grody. I’m sure cuz of Covid things are a lot cleaner though (hopefully).
@Marc Allan Leslie I had not realised they had done all that. I must have missed that bit when I watched it at the time. Good on them though 👍🏼
there are many such places in Wolverhampton that should be closed due to dirt for a very long time I stopped buying anything to eat there because I respect my health
omg i have had there food every time i was good now i feel sick
I am so lucky my dad has a clean fish and chips shop!
Name and location
Don't eat out!🤮
@3:06 Painter was like: FUCK THIS SHIT, I AM OUT !!!
I won't be eating from any Wolverhampton restaurants if I ever end up there
I think i just lost my apetize!!!
Ugghh she picked a dropping ul with her bare hand and she's supposed to be a health officer?!
WHEY MY HOME TOWN
I’m never eating takeout again.. omg..
I thought u were never gona eat takeaway again?
OMG...just having droppings is not enough to take action! They have to show they are 'recent'...what a joke. OLD ones means they have been there for ages...without any cleaning!
Wonder what's in them sausages
Makes me so angry
Where is this in WOLVERHAMPTON
They should be named and shamed to protect the public
You’d think the inspectors would wear gloves
Oh no that's Miami fish and chip shop on Dudley road, I've bought food from there 🤢🤮 that's just wonderful 🤭🤒
It's dolphin fish bar now
Going in bare handed 🤢
This place needed to be shut down asap how the hell is this a hard decision to shutdown. This is worse then getting your food from a nasty methoab or crack house. This is horrible how can the owner even think this is ok come on ppl
The scariest part is these ''restaurants'' get regular check ups! There is no way in gods earth that this restaurant has managed to ever pass at a high standard. All the tiles were near or completely damaged. All the sanitary wear was completely filthy including the mouldy mastic seals. That hasn't just happened over a short amount of time. System is far too relaxed
Definitely scary what's passable. The problem is though, lots of places call each other and say"hey, we just got inspected, they're doing the rounds" so they back date food, throw things out they were originally planning to use, etc. They also pay off inspectors.
But also disgusting, the inspectors touched rat feces with bare hands. As a health inspector they should know better. Mice/rats and their feces carry bacteria/viruses that can infect you by touching or inhaling particles, some of which are very serious even life threatening and are incurable.
Lazy workers who don't want to do there job let stuff pass. And that is an international epidemic because lazy workers come a dime a dozen.
Going for fish and chips tomorrow night! Hmmmm
Try a rat burger or a fillet wrat
Feels like Gordon Ramsay's kitchen nightmares.
its bloody RAW
They practically put the rat droppings in between their teeth and press down like they're testing a gold nugget for authenticity.
Whats this tv show called????
Disgusting i never eat outside except work events cuz of this...
Still probably give places like this a 4 out of 5 😂.
Where in Wolverhampton?
What are they wearing 💀
Tesco, Sainsbury, Waitrose, Lidl et al have all had rodents at one time or another. Mind the rest of the place is awful I'd agree.
Rodent when. Haha.
I feel sick I've eaten there
We should have the right to know where this diiiirrrty bastard chip shop is
LMAOOOO, WHY TF IS SHE TOUCHING THE DROPPINGS WITH HER BARE HANDS?!?!?!?!?!? Real good example you're setting as a health inspector. Why not have a nibble while you're at it? Get a feel for the alkaline levels? F-ing absurd, lmao😂
Not at all. Touching the droppings is a very quick way to identify the problem. I'm sure she washes her hands regularly.
