I tell you an alternative to the good solutions proposed in the video. It's the very simple technique that I had to use because, in my case, the key had broken leaving a stump right at the bottom of the hole and therefore there was no possibility of acting with hooks, needles or other tools. So I did this: I unscrewed the lock cylinder, then I lubricated the hole (where the key was stuck) with Svitol but you can use any other spray release agent (such as WD-40) and then I hit the cylinder on the ground (any rigid support is also fine) in order to facilitate the release of the piece of key. I hit it by placing it upside down (to be clear): at first I didn't see any results, so I added a few more sprays of lubricant, and again I hit the cylinder. And I repeated this a third time (keep in mind that the lubricant must penetrate well inside and act: so don't rush). In the end, just enough of a piece came out that I could extract the rest of the piece with a pair of tweezers. How satisfying! I assure you that it works, but don't give up: lubricate and tap, if necessary 2 - 3 - 4 times...
