I love to use the "Me Too" sign as well!! Also I LOVE YOUR CLASSROOM SCAVENGER HUNT!! If my first graders were a little more independent I would totally do that! May be a great idea for me to do after Christmas to review our classroom and expectations when they are a little more independent!

I just love your videos! I teach grade 2 in a Canadian French school and I am amazed at how everything you are talking about is aligned with what we are doing here! Thank you so much for the links you add. I have used many of your ideas already and thankfully, most books you suggest have French translations 😊 I do have a question about one of the morning meeting activities you talked about. I believe it was a “would you rather” pack. Would you happen to have a link for that? This type of activity would make such a wonderful conversation starter. Thanks again!!

Since you have the desk shields, does your students wear masks as well? Also, do you have a overhang outside where the students place their backpacks?
We require both masks and shields at my school! Students are fully masked both inside and outside all day. I have hooks under the overhang in front of my classroom for students backpacks 🙂

No we go until 2:55pm but the first two day of school were minimum days!
When your students go to the carpet to meet- are you required to have them social distance?? Glad your first days went well!!
I’m not sure about required but, in this video she did mention that they social distance at the carpet! ☺️
What time does school start?
Our normal school day is from 8:15-2:55 🤗
