John, I hope you go back and rewatch the very beginning vs the very end of this video. You were so obviously tired in the car and look energized and ready for the day AFTER fishing which shows how much enthusiasm you have for it... awesome stuff!!!
Beautiful looking creek. Wife and I are currently in North Carolina, just got done hiking and some beautiful creeks here with clear water and great scenery.
Hi John you are my “ 1 fisherman, I’m 71 heading fo 72 haven’t fished since last June . I have arthritis that is distroring my spine. I have a fib hoping to correct that in the next few weeks but with all this I enjoy your show. God Bless you John.
tHAT PLACE LOOKS AMAZING jOHN..looks like there were plenty of fish to go around for you and Larry... Shout out to Larry for taking you to some great spots the last couple days.
If you get down to Lower Alabama and want to hook up with some decent crappie, try out what the locals call "The Lower Cutoff". Years ago the Corps of Engineers wanted to straighten the Tombigbee River by shortening the curves, if this makes sense. When I was a boy my daddy and I would boat down to the "cutoff" and fish for white perch (crappie). Daddy said that he could smell groups of crappie. It must have been the smell of urine. I do know that he never got skunked! At any rate when you have nothing better to do why don't you research the "Lower Cutoff" on the Tombigbee River and find out about it?
While your in Alabama you've GOT to check out Aldridge Creek in Huntsville. Beautiful creek runs right through south Huntsville, lots of big bass, an easy wade.
Big bass in Aldridge Creek? What part are you talking about? What is your definition of big? I've caught some in the 3lb range where it meets with Ditto but before Ditto.
My friends and I used to fish Aldridge when we were kids. We'd wade the creek from Green Mountain road, Weatherly rd, or Mountain Gap, damn near out to Ditto.
Man if you are ever around the Birmingham area let me know I have dozens and dozens of creek and river spots I'd be more than happy spend the day taking you to
We need a push for a fishing license that would allow us to fish in any State. Is Way to expensive buying even temp license in each state we travel thru. Love your videos youngster.
A very clear shallow creek. One of the clearest I've seen you on in a while. A very successful day. Plenty of different spices for such shallow water, but most were good quality health f8sh.👆👆👆
I've seen Larry around for a while now..he's a good guy!
He's a creek fisherman, so he has to be!

Yeah. I actually had a migraine. I get them when I don’t drink much water and use a lot of energy. I took a couple BC powders and it kicked in

Great seeing you guys having a blast. Your about 2 1/2 hours from me there
Larry and you should do more videos, thanks!
That's a great stretch of creek! I live just a few miles away and often wade and fly fish where you put in and took out.

Y’all are a great combo together should have a 1v1 creek challenge
I started checking out Larry last summer. Seems like a solid dude !
Watching this while I'm working. Would much rather be fishing haha

I need Larry’s hat. Fire vid
I got a honey hole there in alabama that is an amazing creek for topwater fishing. Its shallow and full of grass with big bass.
You should come on down to the Phenix City AL area…across the river from Columbus GA…..plenty of little spots to fish at!
Looks like a place called piper in Bibb county down the road from me. Good fishing
Always amazed at the amount of “car parts” that end up in the creeks.😢
In my youth I floated the Buffalo River in Arkansas, several times. Rugged and primitive back then. I saw gar schooling as big as the boat.
Man if you are ever around the Birmingham area let me know I have dozens and dozens of creek and river spots I'd be more than happy spend the day taking you to
Nice loved it. Would be nice to see you eat fish even if you have to cook it at your house.
You could spend weeks exploring the creeks that flow through the Birmingham area.
I wade in crox too, hahahaha.
Check out yellow creek in Tennessee when you get a chance. 3lb. smallies are normal!!
Fished that exact spot today and absolutely killed ‘em. That creek practically runs by my neighborhood, so it’s hard to resist.
That’s cool, it’s hard not to hit it when it’s there and you know the fish are good
So many tires... lol
John my friend, you need a dog. He could go with you everywhere. It may even increase your traffic because everyone loves doggies!

I agree. Out of state hunting is way to high too.
Go ketch some Bass and have fun 🙏
Great video I hate that people puts trash is the water ways
Looks like Wills creek in North AL

Is that past the little concrete driveway in the water going upstream? or not that far?
Those holes are hard to find also, no road access to them. Walk the creek.
Y’all need to do more videos together
How do you like that shimano rod’s sensitivity compared to the TFO rod?
Have you ever used the bubble gum lemon helgermites
A very clear shallow creek.

A very successful day.

I'm surprised you were not slamming smallies.
