Dude this is sick! Thank you for coming down & come back anytime! Learned a lot from you kicking my teeth in on the river 😂
man that was just a really fun day
I watch both of you all. Great guys to follow!
Beautiful river
You cross that bridge. See that river, and the heart starts pounding. What a great adventure.
two of the best guys in youtube fishing thanks for the collab fellas
Nice!
love your vibe bro keep it up, and nice way of sharing the love of god through your videos!
Was this the Cahaba river?
I appreciate you sharing a Bible verse at the end of each video
LOVE seeing a fellow Tennessee boy excelling at the RUclips fishing game. Can't believe John isn't at 250k yet. His content is honest, wholesome, and faith-based.... altogether FANTASTIC content. Loved seeing Larry show up too
You know you've caught a big fish when it spins your kayak 360 degrees! LOL Great video!
Wow, the music comes on perfectly, just at the right visuals. Wonderfully done!
Thank you again John - the people you’re with, and the appreciation for all of the gifts❣️🙏🏼
It's always awesome when we get to see you get on one big enough to pull the kayak around! Love seeing Larry in the video as well.
Cahaba river is a beautiful place and good fishing.
Love the Bible verse on the way out brother
Welcome to one of Birminghams best kept secrets.
You should definitely go bk there. I think a red and black swirl would make an awesome hellgrammite
Keep bringing the word brother. That river and its beauty is His creation, sovereignty, and majesty. Keep setting a hook for me a praising Him❤️
I've had several 100+ bass days on the Cahaba. Throw in all manner of bream and you can get over 200 fish in a day. The most productive time to fish it, believe it or not, is in the low water conditions during the dog days of summer, after 3 days of 95° and no rain. For sheer numbers, the Roostertail is king; ¹/¹⁶ or ⅛oz gray minnow or black. A hurricane craw or Florida five-O colored Gambler BB Cricket on a ⅛oz Spider Slider head is hard to beat anytime on the Cahaba. Also, a #9 smelt colored Rapala floating minnow and a ¼oz black buzzbait is worth an honorable mention. Unfortunately, the sores have become a common occurrence on Cahaba's fish. It's due to all the development; the residential, commercial, and industrial waste is taking it's toll. I thank God that I got to fish it as far back as the 70's. It's still beautiful. Good video.
You should go back in a week or two to catch the peak bloom of the Cahaba Lilies.
Me too! Cahaba lilies are on the Tallapoosa River as well, upstream of Lake Martin.
we were talking about that, Larry is going to go back and film it
And still another great video and some very nice catches! Thanks so much for continuing to share your adventures with us. Keep smashin em buddy! #CreekFishingAdventures rocks!
I really enjoy your videos brother. I really appreciate you standing firm in Christ and sharing Him. Need alot more men to do that. God bless 🙏
Good stuff! I've got a couple bank fishing spots for the cahaba bass & another species of redeye bass, the warrior bass, if you're ever interested in going after them! Your buddy CMR knows how to get up with me. Would love to put you on them!
That looked like an absolutely amazing day of fishing there... I have to admit John, I am jealous sir...very jealous. Shout out to Larry for hooking you up with this epic day .
haha, that place was pretty incredible
Great video. Hitting scenic rivers really enhances the fishing. The drone footage adds to the quality. The fact that you consistently find the bigger fish shows you really understand where fish are active and where they hold. Maybe you could do a show on just that.
The trusty old hellgermite strikes again another great video
If you ever get back down this way, make a trip to Horseshoe bend military park. You can put in there and take out at Jaybird boat landing. It’s about a 6-8 our trip. You can catch a ton of fish. Really nice spots and Tallapoosa bass. My cousin and I are going this Saturday. I ordered some of the hellgrammites you use!! I have to try them out. Usually do damage on ned rigs, small chatterbaits and pop-r’s. Wish I had a GoPro and knew how to download stuff! I’d shoot you some videos!
You should try and come to muscle shoals some
Time and fish Pickwick lake and Wilson lake. Lots of beautiful scenery and good fishing.
Thank you for sharing. God bless you and your family and your friends...🙏❤🙏❤🙏😊🙂😀
I really enjoy your videos, but man you talk to fast. Can't understand what you are saying. Slow it down!!!
Nice video,,,, love those spider lillies...some of them I have seen on the Flint and the broad in SC
Looks like piper in Bibb county down the road from me. What color yum was you using?
Thank you for sharing this adventure.
I really really love your channel man! Always enjoy watching your videos!
Come down to the caba river at Trussville Alabama there are like 5 pounders in some spots
Such a Great video. So proud you are showing my home State and home areas beauty. Certain areas of the Cahaba have red eyes. I haven’t been to this area before really need to go. 👍
Love your channel. Please release the fish quicker. You keep them out of the water way too long.
With all those holes in the ground the dude with the camera shouldn't be looking into the camera while climbing it.
Bro, you are in my back yard....
What city? Helena? The Cahaba bass are fun
What size hook and weight do you use on the hellgrammite?
Where did ya'll put in at? I don't live far from the Cahaba.
great to see you in my home waters! Come hang out in Alabama anytime!
Greeting from Indonesia, love your video.
Should try the sipsey through the wilderness area
WOW AWESOME ALABAMA IS GOOD TO U KEEP UP THE GREAT FISHING
What a great Day Out on the water was some great fish well done.
Alabama the Beautiful ! Glad you had fun
You should have went with Richard Gene !
You live near Nashville? I want to fish
What bait or lure are you using?
Hung out with Larry one night during the classic, he’s cool and funny guy! Cool to see both of y’all hitting a beautiful Alabama River! Tight lines to both of y’all!
Great video guys enjoyed it
Ugh, I fished the wrong section of the Cahaba that day.... Floated Grantsmill to Overton.
we actually caught fish like crazy for the first 3 miles then barely caught anything the next few miles
Welcome to my state. Leave some fish for me 😂
I liked watching your videos , not other people's videos on your channel so I unsubscribed.
well you must not like it that much
I'm a bit ashamed that I've lived in AL my whole life and never fished the Cahaba. Great day y'all had John,....thanks for sharing.
well i found out its almost 200 miles long so there is a lot to fish
LM Jr. I watch his channel too
There's just something special about being in the woods and enjoying God's creation. Nothing like it!
amen
Nice river. Looks like a fun trip. I found your channel a few weeks ago when I knew I was moving to Cohutta. I've been enjoying your videos and am exited to hit some of the creeks and rivers within range for me.
Oh that’s beautiful area
Thank you for sharing. You helped inspire me to kayak fish. I'm hoping to get out and explore more rivers here in PA. Thanks again!!!
Which section of the Chaba is that?
Wow. Nice fish and a nice river to fish. Ours is a reservoir and last week they had it drawn way down. Now it’s more than full but it’s snow melt so it’s running dirty. The creek in my pasture is also running high and dirty. It makes fishing the reservoir a bit more difficult so we hit some ponds. Some yellow perch and red ear sunfish. We could watch them and the perch would peck at it and then grab it and the sunfish darted up, grabbed it and took off. Pretty fun to watch.
You're fishing some absolutely beautiful rivers, John. ENJOY 😉!! IT only comes around once!!
Love watching the videos John. BTW just picked up a Wenonah 18 foot canoe that needs all new gunwales, any suggestions on a good place to get replacement kits from? Thanks, Fish on!
Amazing adventure!
Love the beautiful view cannot wait for our River to calm down !!!!! #KingsRiver #California #pineflatlake 💯🔥🎣🎥🤙
Awesome video. Ironically, i cross the Cahaba twice on work days and have been an avid kayak fisherman for over a decade, but have never fished it.
oh man it is a place you need to try
Thanks for another awesome video John! And congrats for making to 135 K subs!
Did you put in/take out in the same place or did you have someone do the shuttle run downstream? Always ask to learn more about fishing from a yak!
we dropped a vehicle off downstream
Somebody's channel keeps gaining momentum...and the speed of that momentum is really picking up! About 2 months ago, you were at about 129,000 Subscribers. Within the past week, though, you've jumped from about 133,000+ Subscribers, to 135,000+ Subscribers! I'm very proud of you, Brother John! Keep the Faith!
Another premium video from the Creek Dude.... Thank you John.... great scenes, good fish and looked like a bunch of fun you guys had.... Praise Him who paints the country with beauty for our enjoyment and use... love seeing you all on this trip.... ~D~
Nice video. Beautiful river. I'm so spoiled on northern smallmouth in the rivers, it would be cool to switch it up with spots and an occasional LM.
Nothing to complain about on this trip.
Some great quality fish, beautiful drone footage, and an exciting float.
Definitely a day that the Lord made for you to enjoy what you love doing.
Of course another great video. Could you please tell us the difference between an Alabama bass and the others you guys were after? Much appreciated.
Great time of year to float the Cahaba. Those Cahaba Lilies are beautiful. Sorry if you already mentioned this but what rod / reel / line setup are you using? Braided line w/ Leader?
There is just something beautiful about a sunrise over a river, lake, or ocean before fishing. I spent many mornings with my dad(lost him to cancer this last Summer) overlooking the Connecticut river fishing for catfish, bass, or trout/salmon.
Two of my favorite fishermen....glad you guys collaborated.
Excellent video. Really enjoyed it. Beautiful scenery. Peaceful and calm. Looked like a great time!
Beautiful scenery, great fishing and company. Can’t beat it!
A good video, the scenery is awesome. I live in southeast Alabama and our rivers are reddish in color nothing like where you fished in the video. It looked like a fun day of fishing .
Are you fishing when it’s blackberry winter, I know here in north Georgia it sure has cooled off considerably
Very nicely done as usual. Beautiful setting great fish good work John!
John you look like you were having great time. Blessed man just blessed.
Beautiful river trip and thanks to Larry for the invite and Creek Fishing Adventures taking us along. Looked similar to a stretch of the Cumberland River we fished 2 years ago. Blessings brother John
Great video John, everything about it!
😎🎣🎥👍
Thanks for coming down and checking out our local waters! I’m planning a trip up your way soon to grab a new rod at fishtales and try to wrangle a small mouth or two!
They’re are some really nice bass in that river, I grew up fishing it. It’s nice to see someone who appreciates the beauty and unique fishing environment the Cahaba river has. Loving the Chanel so far!
Wow your waiting them at.Its fun getting and big fish on an fly road even bulegill is fun on and fly road.
Few things are as enjoyable as floating a gorgeous new river loaded with hungry fish. Even better with a buddy or two. I love it when a fish spins the boat around - great stuff!
Good job 👍👉🔔
Such a beautiful river, like it was touched by the hand of God. Thank you for the adventure.
whoooo Larry!
Great trip guys. Thanks for sharing and have a Blessed Day!!!
Your best video yet #ROLLTIDE Been watching you a while now. Getting me into creek fishing
What's the difference between a spotted bass and a Alabama.
Alabama Bass are spots native to the rivers that flow into Mobile Bay. Bucket biologists have stocked them elsewhere, and these fish are having a negative impact on native bass in other river systems.
You are so blessed to get to fish these beautiful waters, it's good to have friends that you can call up & go with you, your buddy was fishing slower because he was trying to catch every fish there was 😂, great video, can't wait to see more!👍🎣
Beautiful place! Awesome Content! The older i get the more i want to fish.
Awesome video
gotta give a thumbs up and comment for Sweet Home Alabama!
What a great day of fishing! Can’t get any better than the combo of beautiful weather, water, and good fishing.
Where is this
that was great
What a beautiful Alabama kayak river! Roll Tide Roll.
