When unmolding things that have a vacuum, like jello, purin, etc. , Shaking it forwards and back is often more effective than doing it in an up and down motion. Front to back and side to side really help loosen the edges and let air in to release the said vacuum.
I would love to see this cake, with meat rosettes and a savory frosting in between the layers. I’m sure someone can figure out how to make that work. 🤔
Alina, I think to keep the theme cohesive, she'd use beef or chicken Rendang as a frosting, with meat and fried onions as toppings. And fried/boiled eggs as a cake topper, plus sambal for a color pop

I knew this would taste good. One of my favorite things in the world is cold lo mein, for the same reasons that cold seasoned ramen tastes so good. The salt in the the sauce acts similarly to the salt that makes up ramen broth packets, wicking excess moisture away from the noodles so that the gluten in the noodles is able to tighten up and give a pleasantly bouncy chew when cold. and all this while retaining the flavor that makes the noodles so addicting in the first place. *Level Up Tip:* To take your ramen noodle cake to the next level, "frost" it with Chinese hot oil, or homemade chili oil. Great way to add heat without sogging out your noodles or diluting the seasoning.

Seems very useful for hiking in warm humid environments. Even relatively cold humid environments like over here in Ireland, in the mountain and hill, bog lands, that stretch around the coastal regions of the entire island of Ireland.

I’m in Australia and indomie mi goreng is a total staple here. It’s in all the supermarkets and it’s so good 😍 I cook mine by putting it in a sealed container with freshly boiled water, let sit for 2 minutes then drain and add seasoning. If you leave the oil sitting on top of the container then it will be fully melted when it’s ready to mix in

When I worked construction I usually packed ramen with no broth or mi goreng with whatever leftover protein we had in the fridge for my lunches. Cold noodles are delicious!
Actually we have a non-decorated version of this called martabak mie. We use egg to 'solidify' the noodle, add chopped scallion and some meat, then fry it. The result is a kind of savory cake and it's yummy.

My favorite breakfast (5-8 servings, do not eat the whole pot at once--you will die of a heart attack from all the fat) is 1lb regular mild breakfast sausage crumbled & fried mixed with 2 packs instant ramen noodles (3 cups water, not 4, and cook until water is absorbed, don't drain) and 1/2 a block of cream cheese. It's amazing. Please try it, Emmy.
I just watched this. We did this in the past with other brands of these types of noodles. And we garnish it with veggies, so we can still eat it. And we use 2 laters of rectangular cake mold.

The indonesian culinary channels are experiencing fast growth. Lots of crazy food and ideas from the street. This is specially true with spicy food and quick home cooking. The best preps for hot chilly paste for sure.
There used to be a recipe in one of my mother's old cookbooks for macaroni or cracker pudding. For the macaroni pudding you browned your macaroni and then boiled it till done then drained it well and added it to a custard. Loved the cracker one when made with Ritz crackers. Macaroni one was ok but not as good.

When I worked construction I usually packed ramen with no broth or mi goreng with whatever leftover protein we had in the fridge for my lunches. Cold noodles are delicious!

Actually we have a non-decorated version of this called martabak mie. We use egg to 'solidify' the noodle, add chopped scallion and some meat, then fry it. The result is a kind of savory cake and it's yummy.

My favorite breakfast (5-8 servings, do not eat the whole pot at once--you will die of a heart attack from all the fat) is 1lb regular mild breakfast sausage crumbled & fried mixed with 2 packs instant ramen noodles (3 cups water, not 4, and cook until water is absorbed, don't drain) and 1/2 a block of cream cheese. It's amazing. Please try it, Emmy.

I just watched this. We did this in the past with other brands of these types of noodles. And we garnish it with veggies, so we can still eat it. And we use 2 laters of rectangular cake mold.

The indonesian culinary channels are experiencing fast growth. Lots of crazy food and ideas from the street. This is specially true with spicy food and quick home cooking. The best preps for hot chilly paste for sure.

There is noodle pudding which is a dessert. A cup of honey is one of the ingredients. It's very good but haven't had it in a long time .

There used to be a recipe in one of my mother's old cookbooks for macaroni or cracker pudding. For the macaroni pudding you browned your macaroni and then boiled it till done then drained it well and added it to a custard. Loved the cracker one when made with Ritz crackers. Macaroni one was ok but not as good.
