Hers also tried to spread to her lungs. Hers was extreme and isn't everyone's but it wasn't until they did surgery did they find the life threatening issues.
I scrolled pretty far down to see if anyone spoke about this, but apparently not, so. In the north-west quarter of France (more specifically Normandie and Bretagne), crepes (made with wheat flour) and galettes (savoury, made with buckwheat flour) are very, very popular and traditional. So, they developed specific tools to make them. They use a “bilig” (bea-league), or pilig, a round heated pan/griddle (nowadays it’s electric) and a toothless rake (rozell) to spread the batter (because you can’t move the pan, it’s too heavy). Both words are breton words. The system is used in most crêperies and is pretty common everywhere in the world now :) And don’t worry Emmy, your first attempts look like about anyone’s first crepes, mine often still look like this because I find them more interesting to eat than perfectly round ones !
I love this lady not only that she takes time to explain why it is that she is behind and backing a product she doesn't commercial and never say a word and say well they are sponsoring me for today anyway thank you for being kind enough to show us about the different products and why it is it you stand behind them God bless and have a good day

@@mooselove I wasn't around then, but Emmy had merch that said "Eat the ducky moss" on it, and I assume it was kind of a running joke in her videos that when she says "itadakimasu" it sounds like "eat the ducky moss"
I love how em has slowly gotten so comfortable with us 😂 I love her little excited happy dances! ♥️
Can't tell you how much I appreciate the heads up on that pan. A lot of people sit on information that could save someone money! You're forever and always my favorite foodietuber
I clicked so fast! You are my FAVORITE person to watch. I love your interesting content and I adore your personality. Thank you for being you!

Emmy- I’m so hungry but I’m in a rush oh what do I do??

I thought I did something wrong with my Green Pan. I just couldn't cook anything on it without it sticking. I will never buy another Green Pan either.
Green pans suck
I find your videos a lot like ASMR. You speak in a soothing tone and your videos have like a muted sound to them that I like a lot. It’s calming to watch your videos.
I love that your sponsors are always well-thought out, helpful, good businesses that will help your subscribers in some way, not just a phone game.
When she said she had never made crepes before I thought "Well this won't go well." Yeah they are hard to get the knack of.
Hard? It is the easiest thing to make, I mean I think so at least it was first thing I learned to make
Marija Perkovic Oh you're right, she did it perfect first time, my mistake.
Just becsuse its easy to you it doesnt mean its easy for them, especially bc shes american so they dont really eat crepes
The first crepe is always the throw away one lol
I am not good at cooking at all and a couple months ago I decided I NEEDED to try a matcha crepe and tried to make one. For hours I was at my stove trying and still never have made one. Too harddddds
Me before watching: “I’m sorry, edible what?”
Me after the first few seconds of video: “Oh lol, they’re just crepes-“
Grrrrowl!
Same 😉
Yes
I kept thinking, "why?"
@@JulieJSchmidt LOL
'Edible Towels' sound like they came from R/I'm14andThisIsDeep. It's like, the rest of the world has been doing this for 100's of years but yes, 'edible towels'
Finally a NON-ASMR edible towel tutorial !!!
Anyone else just love Emmy's kitchen??? I would love a full view, it's so beautiful
Phew! Emmy, your perseverance is inspiring. I would have thrown in the "towel" long before you did. Thank you for going through all that and explaining what's needed to succeed. Perhaps now I'll be able to make a passable crepe! That filling looks amazing, btw.
Watching Emmy do a happy dance after an achievement is why I am here. Totes adorbs
Hello 👋 how are you doing today
When those first couple of crepes happened I just started screaming at you to add more butter. In my experience, the “cushion” of the butter helps the batter spread nicely while preventing it from cooking too quickly.
Emmy's battle with plastic wrap is exactly why I switched to beeswax wraps plus the environmental issue as well
Arkonite Babe what are beeswax wraps?
Olivia Spring It's considered a more sustainable alternative to plastic wrap as it's washable and reusable. It's usually just beeswax infused fabric (the kind of fabric can vary)
Oh wow. That's pretty neat. I'll def look into those
I'm sure Emmy could make those easily with her beehives!
@@bodyofhope we should ask her to DIY!
Emmy: * Takes a bite out of her "towels" * Mmmmmm, that's delicious
Me: * Attempts to take a bite of an actualy towel * Emmy you lie
When Emmy has to reach into her towel drawer, you know it's good. Also, the longer it takes her to decide on a towel, the better the recipe. :)
Emmy makes me so happy
I couldn't tell you why, she just does 🥺
Why do I always want to watch these videos when it’s never anything I want to eat?? What kind of mind control are you doing to me Emmy?? 😂🤔🤔. Edit: I actually want to eat these though.
✨
Emmy makes me want to eat bugs but I'm too nervous to try
Dido
It is Emmy she is so cute that even when you don't care about what she is doing you just half to watch.
@@esthercotter I love Dido! Not sure what she has to do with crepe towels, though... 😏
I love it when Emmy gets excited when doing something for first time 😁
I watch your videos all of the time! And I have to say that this is my favorite! You make my heart happy! I love how optimistic you are and that even though you had a set back you came out happy! Keep it up! You make my day better every time I see you!
the sounds emmy makes when she’s excited honestly make her videos 😂❤️ love you emmy!
Always such a nice remedy to a rough day. Hope your monday went well, Emmy. Thanks!
At least she doesn’t call crepes “creepies” lmao I know a few people who call them like that (now jokingly obviously but still.... creepies lmao)
oh my goddddd I think im going to start calling them creepies now, that's so cute T.T
Read this as “Creampies” 😂. My mind....

I've never been this early! Nice job on the towels! They look so real!
First!
Thank you!
I am so proud of your little victory of making the crêpe towels. 💜💜💜
I LOVE that you include the failed parts of the process. It's all part of learning how to make things better, and shows you're REAL. I make so many mistakes with cooking, but that often leads to some of the best successes! Love your vids, Emmy.
Emmy you have been giving me April's Fools vibes! Can't wait to try and make the 'fried 🐔' or these 'towels' for workplace treat! What else u got?? Love it!
Hmm... Maybe use a newly bought soap mold to do a molded fruit mousse or chocolate piece to go with it?
My birthday is on April 1st and I wouldn’t mind getting these as an April fools prank for it 😋
Could also do a complete trick breakfast/brunch with possibly fruit leather bacon, peach & yogurt eggs, and a cake pb&j but that's probably better for a home thing hahaha

😭😭😭 Emiiiii!! You're so sweet and wholesome and your joy is palpable!
I wish so much I was like you when you get so happy and excited when you finally succeed- for me, I get so frustrated and invested that by the time I figure something out, all the joy of even succeeding has disappeared and I'm just that much more upset and want to be DONE with the whole thing. 😭 I really admire your joyful spirit.
Hello 👋 how are you doing today
I get so geeked when she finally succeeds. She’s the best RUclips mom! I’m so proud to be a beautiful lovely!! ❤️
That “No!” Made me spit my water out from laughing 😂🤟🏼 6:32
this is the comment i was looking for 😂
That's a wrap folks. "Grrrrowl"
19:25 Thanks Emmy 😎✌
I’m very convinced i have endometriosis and i’m a heart transplant survivor so thank you for the sponsorship from Simple Health I will look into it! Gods bless you Emmy!
D: Be safe and be well!
If you think you have endometriosis get yourself to a doctor! My sister had this and it nearly killed her. Come to find out if she had gotten pregnant she would have died. Hers also tried to spread to her lungs. Hers was extreme and isn't everyone's but it wasn't until they did surgery did they find the life threatening issues.
Why do u think you have it?
Hello 👋 how are you doing today
I scrolled pretty far down to see if anyone spoke about this, but apparently not, so. In the north-west quarter of France (more specifically Normandie and Bretagne), crepes (made with wheat flour) and galettes (savoury, made with buckwheat flour) are very, very popular and traditional. So, they developed specific tools to make them. They use a “bilig” (bea-league), or pilig, a round heated pan/griddle (nowadays it’s electric) and a toothless rake (rozell) to spread the batter (because you can’t move the pan, it’s too heavy). Both words are breton words. The system is used in most crêperies and is pretty common everywhere in the world now :)
And don’t worry Emmy, your first attempts look like about anyone’s first crepes, mine often still look like this because I find them more interesting to eat than perfectly round ones !
I love this lady not only that she takes time to explain why it is that she is behind and backing a product she doesn't commercial and never say a word and say well they are sponsoring me for today anyway thank you for being kind enough to show us about the different products and why it is it you stand behind them God bless and have a good day
I'm so confused but intrigued
I am halfway through and I'm surprised she didn't say "this crepe.. looks like crap!" 😅
She should have
When Emmy says" Umm, fantastic", here's me running to add ingredients to the grocery list, LOL
Your videos are so soothing and calming to watch- it’s like asmr in a way 😔🤚
Thank you for leaving in the frustrating parts! You almost never see anyone get frustrated when trying new things online, which makes it all the more frustrating when things don't go so well. Crepes are notoriously hard to make!
So happy to see you with this sponsor. 🥰 Birth control is such an important (and unfortunately political) aspect of health.
Sometimes i too wish to eat towels so thank you very much Emmy!
i love all the noises emmy makes when shes happy loll, so contagious
Just discovered your channel and I love the recipes, the information that goes along with it and your voice is so calming.
Instead of using 100% matcha powder to coat, you could have mixed 50% matcha powder and 50% powder sugar.
Incredible! I really thought those were towels!🤯
Thanks for speaking out about women's healthcare. It's important for us to have choices in our lives that will affect the rest of our lives.

Emmy ! I really appreciate the sponsor that you chose for this video. Access to affordable contraception is a huge thing. Thanks for speaks ng on the topic.
Google translate heard: "Ethan Aki mosque...these crack me up!!
The auto-generated English subtitles always make her look like she's gone from a sensible foodie to somebody who's just lost their mind. That one is right up there with "need the lucky balls."🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What does she actually say? 🤔
@@davaia607 She says "Itadakimasu" which means "I humbly receive" in Japanese...It's kind of like giving thanks or saying grace
Thanks that would of bugged me 😁
