- It's time for a video you've all been waiting for!
For years I've had numerous requests to show my NOW Collection, and the time finally felt right to it! It's a big endeavour, so it's being split into two parts. Join me now for Part 1, as we go through the Numbered Series of NOW's, all the way from NOW 1 in 1983, up until the most recent release, NOW 109, in 2021!
The NOW Review has been going on AMTV since the Spring of 2018, and now with over 100 episodes to its credit, it is one of the most recognised shows on the channel!

Aahhh.. I've collected Now for a long time now and am listening to 109 all the time!
I just inherited a copy of Now 21 on Cassette from my uncle Carl who was having a clear out of his old bedroom a few days ago.
Really impressive collection on the numbered series there mate, 👌
I'm still trying to get the earliest ones from the 80s on CD,
I didn't get them re-released each time they did one. I just kept on focusing on the new current ones,
I managed a charity find earlier this year NOW 13 on Fatbox CD Format ('original CD case was perfect too')... then a month later I came across NOWs 18 & 19 on fatbox CD format too. I'm still trying to hunt down these 80s numbered nows... I have re-release of the very first NOW from 1983 on CD... but I've managed to collect from 18 all the way up to 112 ('current release')...
I'll be honest that ('Spin off') albums I'm not too keen on and don't get them... I remember the one spin off I had was NOW NO.1s and either gave that one away or lost it.
Also my favourite time for now music was the 2000s, I grew up in the 2000s and my favourite genre from that era was Indie rock.

Now 4 on CD is worth a small fortune on eBay. It is rare but it is a cut down version compared to the vinyl.

I have all the main numbered Now albums. Now 1-17 on Cassette and Now 18_109 on CD. Plus all 9 rerelease on CD. Plus Now 50 Now 35 and Now 26 on cassette as well. Now 4 Now 7 Now 8 Now 13 Now 16 and Now 17 on VHS. I also got a copy of Now 3 on VHS yesterday but it was seaized up and didn't work and broke the player so its now in the loft out of the way. I'll have to find another VHS player before I can complete the Now VHS collection. Anyway nice numbered Now collection I'm looking forward to seeing all the spin offs in part 2. When do you think part to will be uploaded?
My copy of Now 40 has a Woolworths receipt inside the booklet which says £15.99 so that would have been average retail price back then

I got now 106 on cd from amazon it will be arriving from August 5-August 7 it is shipped 21:42
NOW 79 was the first NOW album I saw an advert for. That was when I was first made aware of NOW.

I started listening to 118 the latest release it was released last week which was the 26th of July 2024
My copy of now 106 on cd was delivered yesterday 8-5-24 on amazon it was delivered by usps it was not on digital download on itunes
Now 69 ha ha ha!

Always liked the pig mascot that was briefly used for some of the now tv ads of the 80s editions. Would be good if they brought him back.
He gets little cameos on some of the newer Nows! I think he's a balloon somewhere on the cover of Now 109!

I am going to get a bundle of now’s on cd for my birthday which will be the 2018 100th re release of the ,and the re release of 15 (1989) and 58,60,75,78,83,96,99,100 and 102 103 104 and the delayed now 105 and 114 I will definitely get a bundle of them unless if I do not have enough money for all of them
I did not get nows on digital downloads yet

I have all the numbered albums from 1 to 80 on CD (1 - 9 being the re-releases)
The first now that was released in the united states was in October 26 1998
The last original run of Now vinyl, as you said ended with Now 35. The last Now album available on cassette was actually Now 64. The run of Now albums on minidisc was indeed sort they started with Now 43 and ended with Now 48. An abridged CD version of Now 4 was available in 1984 and this can swap hands for upwards of £300. It wasn't until Now 10 in 1987 when we got full versions of the albums on CD. There were also versions of the albums on VHS, but these didn't stick to the tracklistings of the audio versions and they went on until Now 20.
Pretty sure now 64 on cassette turned out to fail release, so people had it on CD instead..
i have the first 6 nows on cd in my basket on ebay you should consider looking for those missing nows there
🤔...This numbering thing has confused me...like, maybe it's because I'm from the USA, but are NOW volumes and art is different...👌🏼 At least I thought I was collecting the main line of NOW...❓️ I'm super confused here at the moment...😮
The USA main line numbered series began in 1998, whereas the UK began in 1983. So the UK mainline will have different numbering and artwork to the US one!
@@AdamMartyn Ah, ok, makes complete sense...🤘🏼 Thanks for letting me know, I was a bit worried...👌🏼 But anyways, I watched this video because I thought it could help me with my collection, because I too am collecting the NOW CD albums...💯✔️ All your other videos were extremely helpful, however, this video gave me some induced panic...😄

I have now albums from the uk series
NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL ELECTRONIC has been my recent pickup,not into anything recent to me modern music is bland and lifeless,maybe being nearly 50 is part of it lol.
Now 11 12 and 13 was released in 1988 and 14 15 and 16 was in 1989 and 17-18 was 1990 and 19-20 was 1991 and 21-23 was 1992
And now 78-80 was released in 2011
And there was a cassette release of now 63 and 64 i think 65 did get an official cassette release and 66 maybe
The collection makes me so happy because I am a big fan of now
You should buy now 118 the cover art for now 118 has been revealed last week or 2 weeks ago
And there was a website for now 118’s track list and it has 47 tracks like with now 104 and 116😊
