I had this set when I was a kid. RotJ was the first Star Wars movie I saw, my uncle took me to see it when I was 5 in 83’. I remember playing with this set. Good times and good memories.
Just now seeing this and never thought I’d see another toy showing Han in what I always thought to be a more proper pose in the carbonite since he was bound with hand cuffs and a bar behind his back attached to his arms. The only other toy I’ve ever seen that pose in was the micro collection cloud city set. Always wondered if kenner and now play doh received earlier concept art for the carbonite and they rushed it out before getting the final sculpt.
Oh man, this brings back so many memories. I had this one and the Ewoks version..I think their was one. Anyways, I still have the picture of me holding this set with a huge grin on my face. At the age of 3, Jabba fascinated the hell out of me lol. Even found my micro machines Jabba. Went on a search to find the throne, then came across the bowl..score! I believe it came with slave Leia, but that's definitely gone. However I found a 3PO & Boushh, so that's cool.
Haha love your stuff man keep up the good work! I would really love if you did a review on some Lego starwars jabbas palace sets I think that would be so cool!
Not that my kids still live with me unfortunately, but kids and Play-Doh is kind of a nightmare lol. So much more fun (and less messy/nasty) to use silly putty instead.
