You gotta hear this. I came from a T420 and am currently using a X1C5. I went to see the X1C10 and other current Thinkpad models. Gosh, the keyboard has changed a lot, for the worse. The key travel has reduced from 1.8mm to 1.5mm since X1G7 and the key caps are now shorter and flatter. Thinkpads are known for their keyboard and I am giving them a 0/10 now for it. Don’t think I’ll upgrade to a Thinkpad anymore bcoz of this. I’ll stick with my X1C5.
I just unboxed mine and have been downloading and constantly using the laptop for exactly 3 hours now. I’ve used 33% of the battery life. In theory, that would mean the laptop can run for approximately 9 hours on a single charge.
I have always used a mac , still have company m1 pro, bought this as personal development machine, best non apple laptop I have ever owned . Using PopOs

The p series chips are not suitable for this type of thin machines unfortunately. Let’s see what Intel will do with the 13th gen. I wish Lenovo puts Ryzen chips inside X1 carbon body.
Ed, thanks for this unboxing. I am always interested in Lenovo products, as I have a Yoga 9 Series laptop from 2021. Could you test the temperature under load? Also, the battery has been called into question for the ThinkPad Series. Lenovo needs to work on both areas going forward. Thanks for your work on the channel. Take Care!

Very excited to see how it performs against the 1280p XPS 13 Plus and also the MacBook M1 Pro. Thanks for the upload sir!
1280p is 🔥

Another superb review, thank you!
Early reviews say the battery life is appalling. Can you do a review later and test battery life?
Of course
I wish they made same laptop with large touch pad without buttons.

I would like to try, but I’m afraid about the battery life
Can you get that in a non matte display without it being OLED? Dont care for matte.
Do you prefer ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 or Surface Pro 8?
Your recommendation for a sub $650 laptop? Business focused, not gaming. Thanks brotha.
Please share the battery performance for this model

Do the same with Fedora please ;-) ! // some testers says this machine do not deliver a real 400 nits ! could you check ? :-)

I hear the battery on this machine is terrible
Is the keyboard better than the gen 9 carbon?
