Helium Mobile Rewards Dropping Fast!

- Discovery Mapping and Indoor Helium Hotpot rewards have gone below 1000 MOBILE per day. Seems like we're making around 75 MOBLIE less with each passing week. And with MOBILE down to $0.003 is it still worth getting an indoor hotspot or getting a subscrption?

Its not depending on events as long as you qualify everyone gets the same amount from the pool of rewards.
True. But the HIPS say otherwise.
Who else offers an unlimited phone plan at the $20 price point that piggybacks T-Mobile? . That alone appears to be the main sell point, and earning $MOBILE on top is a bonus.
Well long term if you like what they are doing, that's also a selling point.
Hey Justin, I made a couple videos on this in the past couple weeks. I'm surprised this isn't something you noticed after a couple days on the network. When I joined 3 weeks ago I was getting 2400 a day, it started dropping about 300 a day for MOBILE (phone plan). I think in about 2-3 weeks it will be down to around 300 a day. As each day goes on it does seem like it drops less and less, so when it gets to around 300 might be dropping by only 10 a day. Just my opinion
I did notice. I just wanted to mention it after we went below 1000.
I dont think they would release the formula of how the rewards are calculated so people dont try to game it but maybe im wrong. I believe the mobile rewards from the phone plan is more a POC system and the mapping is negligible to affect rewards if at all. Most people do the same route to a from work or the same stores etc. So not sure new mapping is done daily vs an uber driver going throught muiltiple towns and cities daily maybe would see a different result.
But for hotspots it is difference
The phone plan is different from POC and the mobile comes from a differen pool. But yeah, it doesn't seem to matter.
the helium cycle continues.. im sure in december we’ll be back here, high hopes and low desperations..
Eh. Depends if people really move to the service. I don't see much marketing.
@@DoItJustinKace loving your content by the way. keep up the good work!
@@DoItJustinKaceI think it’s honestly self marketing. Who is not going to mention a phone plan to people that pays you to use the service.
@@DoItJustinKacemost people using the solana saga are using it including myself. They're coming out with a v2 saga already sold 50000 units. almost should be using helium if not all
my outdoor hotspot is doing well. I have on my balcony up high in a high rise apt building
Good to hear. I’m still waiting for my outdoor hotspot to deliver. Are you getting good POC rewards? How about data transfer rewards?
That's what I wanna do! How high up?
@@Armchair-Investor im referring to the wifi hot spot for $500, not the CBRS. it doesn't break it down by rewards. it just adds mobile to my wallet on the helium builder app
Interested stuff here, when you look at what is happening with IOT and Blockchain networks you have to consider what might happen when larger corporate projects that want network assets as part of a growing demand for IOT ... This could literally be a hot takeover probability. Starlink, X, two very good possibilities, its an interesting project going to follow it... not advice, just casual observation.
Interesting thoughts. Thanks.
So it can only data transfer on helium network ? Also if I get the plan what’s the actual coverage and reliability compared to AT&T or Verizon or is it just tethered to t-mobile network ?
I left AT&T for Helium Mobile a couple of weeks ago. The Helium/T-Mobile coverage has been much better for me. I don’t have dropped calls in my neighborhood or at work anymore. I was with AT&T for over 20 years when they were Cingular Wireless, and before that Pac Bell, and before that Airtouch. Yeah I’m old. 😅
Yep only the helium network. And it's pretty much T-Mobile.
As someone who Just ordered a Gateway and Nova430, this is pretty disconcerting. I think it will be a little while before rewards are cut off, if they are cut off, but How much do you (Or others) think the POC rewards are going to fall? (ignoring any HIPs that shift rewards to WiFi)
Great question. Can you get ROI by August 1st?
@@DoItJustinKace That depends on how far rewards fall and how 103 is implemented... Why August 1st?
Hey! So i got a helium miner and mobile plan on my burner phone. Set up the builder app on the phone that has helium service. Out of curiosity, do you know how to access the helium mobile wifi from other devices that dont have the builder app installed? For example, i cant connect to the helium mobile wifi network on my computer and iphone. It asks for a user name and password which i think is on the back of the device but it doesnt seem to work. Do you know if were able to connect to the helium mobile wifi network on other devices? If so anything special we need to do?
It’s not like traditional WiFi, at least not for now. The mobile hotspots are specifically for offloading data from people on helium plans. But rn they are rewarding people just for building the network
You need the Helium Mobile app. Doesn't work without it.
Hi Justin, is the data transfer only works when someone who has a Solana phone or Solana simcard is used in an Android/Apple phone?
No. Helium Mobile.
Good morning Justin. As always you provide your followers with great information. My question is. If was to install a indoor 5g hotspot. Will I only make money from other Helium Mobile phones connected to that hotspot?
Thanks again
I have an indoor mobile WiFi hotspot and I get rewards from using the network with my helium mobile phone. There is a limit if getting rewards for up to 40GBs per month. Then when I pay my next cellphone bill, the 40GB limit resets and I can earn again.
This is separate from the POC rewards which is earned everyday.
Correct. Only works with the Helium Network.
Honestly the best bet is the phone and hotspot. I have two phones so the data rewards from the hotspot pay for them each month. The mapping rewards from phones and proof of coverage from the hotspot are towards the hotspot ROI.
@@dniceavax2247 agreed 👍
What's up I know Justin did a video on deploying the 5G Indoor Mobile HOTSPOT which I enjoyed and learned from. I just did a video over on my channel and went into a little more detail about it with my setup. I gave Justin multiple shout-outs in the video for the info I've received from this channel here. Go take a look at my video if you want just a little more information on the subject if it helps. :)
Thanks for the shout out! But it's not 5G, right? It's wifi?
Keep in mind token value will increase organically over time as the network grows so we'll all continue to be profitable over time...
It can organically go down as well.
Yup just noticed im getting double the amount from my hotspot vs phone but u told us this was coming
Diminishing returns. But we have to play the long game if we can.
@@DoItJustinKace do you have a Twitter I don't see it in your post
You think the outdoor one is better long term if i dont have the phone plan?
Assuming you believe people with the helium plan with eventually come by. But you first need to determine if the coverage area allows for higher POC rewards to begin with.
the circulating supply is only 40% of max supply. couldn't they release more later to increase our rewards?
20% for mapping. So depends on what you're talking about. But for POC hip-101 would make you happy.
Help! My rewards stopped after March 11th. I was receiving feed MOBILE since installing for a couple of weeks but stopped since March 12th. Any ideas?
Do you run an indoor hotspot just for you? Im considering buying one for my household of 7 people. Would this be beneficial or make money or no?
Yeah, but I just moved it to avoid lowering my rewards from my CBRS.
Just set up my first outdoor WiFi hotspot still need to deploy 2 more
Nice. How much are you making?
17 $ a day should make around 40ish will all 3 set up
I started on mid-December earning 2,400 tokens a day… by Christmas it had dropped already to below the 2,000 mark and Jan 15th was the last day I earned above the 1,000 mark. Still profitable, but is it worth in a few months? Not sure.
Depends on data rewards IMO.
Is the mobile version available in South Africa?
Helium Mobile is only in the United States and Mexico.
Hey Justin, do you recommend to sell hnt or transfer to mobile - I currently have 90 hnt on my wallet and 215k on iot? Thank you
I can't give financial advise. But I can tell you I'm sitting on my HNT. It was a 50 once. It could go back to that.
@@DoItJustinKace got it - understand thank you -
Question - if my indoor hotspot is up and running and I connect to it do you get any additional befits ? Aka crypto ? Or you can only get it with the phone service
You’ll get crypto from a hotspot in your house just a small amount. But you’ll also get $20 worth of mobile if your phone service on Helium transfers the maximum amount of data through it.
@@DoItJustinKace also you were right ..the amount your getting is dropping fast! Started around 1500 mobile …it’s going to drop below 800 today
I have two CBRS radios on my roof, can I put two outdoor hotspots on my roof as well?
Well not 2. 1 Possibly since HIP-85 says 3 are allowed. But I've been told you might lower your rewards.
Justin how do you approach or find potential host to deploy hotspots or miners like you did in the past... i have a spot i want but imma hella nervous to go an ask. Lol
use planner.hellohelium.com/ and map it out to see what you can earn.
Can we put the outdoor hotspot on a condo balcony
Yes.
How long did it take for you to see or claim rewards after installation of the indoor hotspot?
Took me about 2 days to start showing up.
Yeah. About 2 days. 48 hours.
I saw Data rewards the first 24 hours and POC rewards on the second day with my indoor hotspot. On the first day I streamed 4k videos on my iPad with Helium service for a couple hours and maxed out my 40gb limit of rewardable data lol. It paid me about 7K mobile.
@@JavisBoomTech genius
@@DoItJustinKaceThat way better then my two experiences with outdoor CBRS. Each were over a week and included emails, begging for a reply.
Hi Justin, how much did you earn yesterday with your new freedom fi outdoor CBRS? My Mosolabs outdoor earned 2300 mobile tokens. Pretty sad.
What you get won't be the same as what I get. And mine just earned for the first time tonight. 53K mobile.
It's 2/14/24. How have the rewards been lately?
Dropping like a rock! The subscription with mapping pays better than the indoor hotspot.
@@DoItJustinKace Unfortunately I just ordered an indoor hotspot.
can i install the indoor and outdoor in same hex
You can, but I think one of the HIPs if you double coverage you will get paid less.
You'll reduce you're rewards with overlapping coverage. Don't do it!
So is it Justin Kace or Justin Miller lol. Pick one
Kace is my middle name! And Justin Miller is heavily taken everywhere!
Are you gonna talk about the token lock for voting
Debating. How do you feel about locking tokens for a greater weight to your vote? Should that make a difference on how your vote is counted?
@@DoItJustinKace but also don’t we get a reward for stacking the token
So after 6 mouth and all reward all die does that mean they going out busy cuz if no one getting pay anymore they are going leave including me and other people might leave
Leave the service or disconnect the wifi?
@DoItJustinKace if we not making no more money I sure people well leave than
Agree people will stop the service since they are not getting enough to pay for service
At 20 dollars for mobile service an it's just as good as T mobile... I'm sure ppl will have found the value an stick with it.

Are you sure it's 50 cents per gig?
says "Mobile network charges data at a rate of $0.50 per 1 gigabyte (50,000 DC)."
my numbers are the same
Thanks for confirming!
Lucky you. I hope my numbers stop dropping. I want consistency lol
Doesn't make sense. They just launched in December and they're trying to map the entire U.S. then the world. A couple hundred tokens a day isn't enough to keep people incentivized.
They’ve been around for years.
Not so sure. Adoption is happening pretty quickly. But Helium has been around since at least 2016.
Why not? Lol $20/mo not cheap enough? Need to be paid instead?
I have the outdoor WiFi hotspot (access point), in 5 days already made equivalent to 70 bucks. Not too shabby!
@@cookitketo3592 $22 a month, including taxes and fees, is pretty cool. But, Mint's holiday special is $15 with taxes. And, I think Visible is $25 all included. I doubt people will switch for $3 a month. Plus, they're competing with free WiFi.
Don't they need people to opt-in to Discovery Mapping?
Mine get 350.
Your hotspot?
Also I’m anticipating it doing what helium did last crypto cycle … there will be a huge run up and a huge dump. Just be ready the Bitcoin halving is 90 days way then the slow climb up to all time high …then the alt coins (iot, helium, mobile) will have there day
I'm ready to sell a few this time around!
@@DoItJustinKace we have T-mobile now and 4 lines . One in home 5g cell…thoughts on flipping all for line? Do you know if they let you keep your number ?
Yup they let you keep your number. Same process
Your promo doesn’t work…you are limited to one per subscription
Correct code not Valid
Augh. Guess they turned it off! I'll get a new subscription so you can use it!
Them devices should be given out for much less ,maybe for free,
Ha! Well the outdoor ones could prove to be the money makers.
Helium big scam😂
Not really a scam. Did their IOT solution really take off, do they care about miners? No and no. Did they over sell partnerships and usage of the IOT solution, yes. I mean it’s also pretty obvious what they are doing here, paying for subscriptions with a token that cost them nothing and building that same old Helium hype with the wifi units. This time the difference is there actually is a market but it’s pretty saturated. Curious to see what happens. I don’t know the cost to them for the T-Mobile towers but I would have liked to see a $10-$15 a month plan. They do have over 15k subscribers already, so that’s more usage than the IOT network really ever achieved.
I wouldn't do it if you feel that way.
