I have 2 bobcat miners mining Crankk. In last 30 days each one made $7.8 . with this rate the roi on just the $150 license fee is about 19 months.

Just as you said RPM I dislike all these projects thanks to Helium. We have now seen how over time these device companies can change their tokenomics and benefit the richest investors or devs. I belive asic, cpu and GPU mineable coins have a bit morality to them so I will stick with that!
The real question remains: Does "selling out your own privacy and personal critical data like your location which could impact your own safety and your beloved ones as well", for a few bucks, is the right and safest thing to do?

Does the Crankk setup respect your Helium settings or do you need to back them up and restore them afterwards (for dual mining)?
Do you need to buy a license (and stack tokens) to install the Crankk software just for testing purposes (not earning rewards)?
I hope you negative guys become sad after Crankk goes public ! I'm in Beta for 2months now, and I can tell ya- in first month I already paid off 2 of my licenses and 2 stakings = 500$. I got my money back in 1st month, and now- everything is big PLUS only... Just waiting for you guys to enter when Public release comes in Crankk, it would be like Helium 3.5 years ago ! Most of the people are negative and faithless - but Crankk is one of a project! Just check their roadmap and read their plan, they will rock at the very end of this year!!! My thing with this type of mining is. Are you mining blocks? Are you validating transactions? Or are rewards off chain
Rewards on Crankk are all on chain, whole Crankk project is on chain, not like Helium...

@@HappyDictator not really, the whole crankk is no different to helium tbh, its built on kadena if u know ding ding ding, helium went to solana chain for example, reason was so they dont need to maintain the blockchain which was cutting off funds from progressing the network aka focus more on the RF part which what helium team is doing, expanding the sensors/RF/ more deals with other network companies to use helium(which will make more DC usage burn etc.)
crankk is new dont get me wrong, its pure speculation right now, to me i dont like the idea that you have to buy crankk, and also buy with kadena to be able to mine, no different than helium 500$ worth of miner.
so the question is since its pure speculation, how fast can crankk progress compared to helium network expansion, because you are comparing now what is it now? 3k hotspots on crankk side vs 425k helium hotspots, on top helium is already partnered with tons of companies which will take ages for crankk to catch up.
like i said, its pure speculation right now which is why i still havent converted mine into crankk and i dont know if i will.
ah for your question, no its not crankk validating the network security but kadena, since crankk is a token of Kadena ecosystem ( the same thing that helium did and became a token of Solana)
good morning , i purchase a few bobcat miner 3 years ago . used one in 2021 no issues onboarding back then. sold that one. have another one that i just tried to use and cant onboard , already merged wallet on the app. but it wont see my miner during connection. on the bobber app it does see the miner but during connection i get a wait error try again message/... help any suggestions?

I like the premise of these “alt miners” because there is a big potential upside but also big potential downside. This day in age my concerns with a lot of these is the privacy.

Hello RPM. I am curious about the DIMO hardware. How does it connect to your car? Through a specific socket? Their site doesn't specify this. Only that it works for cars made after 2008.

Yeah these types of miners and it started with Helium just don't seem to cut it Helium wrecked it in so many ways along with syncrobit and others. They are like the memecoins of crypto. If I were to do it all over again would stick to GPU/CPU mining. Don't need a middleman selling overpriced specialized picks/shovels and gold pans ... s

honey miner would be more legit if they paid you in bitcoin per mile. so like 5 cents of bitcoin per mile would be $750 of bitcoin per year @15k miles. ( Paid monthly) Otherwise its just a game for them to pay next to nothing.
I got my dimo pretty quick and pays decent. My hive mapper is supposed to come in March so they say. Paid for it in December.

My mine boxes are still hanging strong most of them dont have gpus anymore but still sitting ready for the next bull run. good hearing from you. glad to see the new house finally all good and up and running im sure the family is very happy.

Did you get beta licenses to activate your crankk hotspots? I converted 2 of my Helium hotspots a few months back, but didn't get my 2nd one a beta license in time before they ran out.
That’s what I’d like to know too. I had everything ready for 3 beta licenses but the ambassador code was case sensitive and I only got one through. Also, Fry miner requires a lengthy wait for the next batch so no rush there.

Consider ThingsIX instead. 20 Euro fee for onboarding, can be any generic lorawan gateway (as well as Helium approved gateways).
Tho mapper for thingsix costs 250 usdc.. so pick one haha
+ there are people who spent 3000 euro for m2pro.. 150 is nothing to get them running again
@@secretboy69 Well you don't need a mapper, just someone to map your location once every six months minimum. As long as you don't live in the middle of nowhere your chances of being validated are good.

I'd say stick to your expertise for your main vids, but an occasional vid like this that gives us a heads up to both new projects as well as crypto youtubers (and other sources) that are more focused on them that we may not know about is really helpful.

If you didn't convert your wallet and did all that bullshit and validated your adress you won't be able to move your hnt..i going to end my helium project so hopefully I can do something else with my hotspots now. You should also check weather station mining as well..
