I pretty much hate ASMR, but I agree! You should absolutely NOT stop slapping and tapping! It's part of your process and part of YOU, which is why we watch! ❤
To me there are few things more satisfying than taking a piece of old, tired, beaten up antique furniture and bringing it back to life. I feel like most people don't realize how beautiful these pieces can be with a little TLC! Amazing job!
Trena, you are truly an artist. when it comes to wood, but as well when it comes to restoration, I remember the big Grandfather Clock the gentleman brought you that required rebuilding plus the paint work
I came across those glass gliders 30 odd years ago on a dining table made in UK, I was told by one of the older Cabinet Makers, they are for Carpet or Rugs, he had not seen them for years. If you want to slap Furniture go right ahead.
Never stop being Trena ,it's what you do ,do it . What a outstanding looking piece of furniture and a amazing restoration job on this dinning room table what a show piece properly dressed for a Thanksgiving or Christmas Dinner .
Glad to see your BACK HOME also that your father is with you ,,,you are the best.......with the two of you who knows what can happen two pros together can it get any better ????
I actually cried at just how beautiful you made this. You have an extraordinary level of ability with wood by bringing out its absolute best. Thank you again, from Perth, Western Australia 🇦🇺 ❤🇨🇦
I could hear the sad little cry from the table leaf. "Me.... wha what'd I do?" Poor little fellas gonna be the last one pulled from the closet when company comes over; he might see Thanksgiving or Christmas at best. Table looks amazing (don't tell him I said that).
I'm a HUGE fan of both quartersawn white oak and mission style tables. You brought it back and made it is absolutely beautiful again. Great work. Keep it up!
It’s so nice to see the your pride in your work. Your father taught you well. Your work is rare in today’s time. Years back we had some of your glides in the extra leg box. If I remember the customer wanted rollers and we removed them. I’m saying thank you for your customer, a great save.
Once again a wonderful piece of work. It's great to see how the wood comes back to life under your hands. Simply fantastic. All the best until next time. Greetings Maria
Dear Trena; I'm delighted to see that you brought that old stripper tin, with you from Windsor, I'm also of the belief that "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", Lots of love from London UK.
you're professionalism and love of your trade shines through no matter whatever piece of restoration you lay your hands on. customers love this about you and will always share pass this on to new customers so work will always be at your door
@Trena~ Hey it's Christy [aka:NordicPhoenix], I don't know why, but RUclips changed my screen name! Weird! Anyways, just wanted to let you know I am STILL HERE watching and loving your work! This Oak table turned out to be a real stunner! WOW!!! You never cease to amaze me with your restoration talent! I hope all is well with you and your family after the move back home. CHEERS TO YOU MY FRIEND! XOXO
What a lovely video of your trip "Home " thank you Trenna for this! The little ELM chair was a poignant and charming piece to finish with in Ontario. ❤
Don’t ever stop being you! That’s why people like me watch. I love the glass casters. Nice find. Beautiful piece, as always, when you have done your magic!
The table is beautiful now. The cross cut grain is wonderful! I have my parents tiger oak table and chairs and always enjoy seeing another one rescued.
I just want to say I love all of your videos, as far as I'am concerned you can slap furniture as much as you like . Excellent restoration of the dining table, you are amazing!😍😍😍
I think those screws should go back in. I wish the owner had sprung for the glass casters. It's nice to see you use as much of the original as possible. It's a gorgeous table. Nice job!
Now you are back in the flow. Don't get me wrong, all of your restorations come out amazing! But the reason I started watching you so long ago was an image you used for one of your videos that made me wonder how many clamps you could use per linear inch of wood. 🙃
Trenna, you amaze me every time you refinish a piece of furniture. What was neglected and ugly, becomes beautiful again. That quarter sawn oak was hidden and you uncovered it to be beautiful, the way it was intended to be. Beautiful table from a beautiful lady.❤😊
Treana: nice restoration job. That oak on the two halves were really nice pieces. And those glass risers were pretty interesting too. Carol from California
Trena, fantastic result on this table . Tip : to replace sliders I have used UHMW plastic, this stuff is f.i. used in thick cuttingboards or industrial sliders. Can be bought at shops that sell plexiglas etc. Easy to shape, saw, drill ,turn on a lathe. You could even have turned new disks to fit your replacement new feet. I enjoy your video's !
Excellent restoration young lady, that table was suffering from a lot of neglect over a long period of time, glad to see you bring it back, finished out beautifully, thanks for the video, enjoyed watching.
The finish on that table top that wasn't leaves, looks a lot like what was on a late 1940's set of bedroom furniture we used to have. Pickled oak was a trend that went very much out of style and then a half century later showed up again, often as a kitchen cabinet finish.
Love your format with the initial review-assess plans, then learning the "why" later if/when you change your mind -- very useful for me, and possibly many others of your 69,500 subscribers to follow your thought processes and see how you react to new info, or have a better idea, or an "aha!" moment.
Don't stop slapping the furniture or tapping your nails on veneer, it's like furniture repair ASMR!
I pretty much hate ASMR, but I agree! You should absolutely NOT stop slapping and tapping! It's part of your process and part of YOU, which is why we watch! ❤
Lol ok
Love the SLAPS!!
I like the slaps and the fingernail taps! Don’t stop!
I enjoy all the shop noises...not a fan of the music. Lol
To me there are few things more satisfying than taking a piece of old, tired, beaten up antique furniture and bringing it back to life. I feel like most people don't realize how beautiful these pieces can be with a little TLC! Amazing job!
Me too
Trena, you are truly an artist. when it comes to wood, but as well when it comes to restoration, I remember the big Grandfather Clock the gentleman brought you that required rebuilding plus the paint work
What everybody else has commented. Plus shop dog's nose close up and happy tail. All I can add is: WOW.
🥰
Trena-it was great to hear your dad! You resurrected that gorgeous oak!! Brava!!
Yes! Thank you!
Personally, I like it when you tap on the wood. You are an artist!
🥰

You are the best furniture restorer in the Milky Way! Thank you,
❤️❤️
She's a fine healthy girl with canniness and skill with wood: a fine example of a well-employed human.
Glad to see your BACK HOME also that your father is with you ,,,you are the best.......with the two of you who knows what can happen two pros together can it get any better ????
Trena, you should have been a surgeon. Facinating to watch.
Keep tapping the table. It is what makes you so natural.
I remember seeing glass furniture coasters when I was a kid. They were most commonly used on carpet.
Gorgeous grain - just like tiger stripes. That’s one lucky owner.
Ontario is going to be missing you badly. ❤
I actually cried at just how beautiful you made this. You have an extraordinary level of ability with wood by bringing out its absolute best. Thank you again, from Perth, Western Australia 🇦🇺 ❤🇨🇦
Wow, thank you!❤️
Another project completed to make the world a prettier place!

Great idea
