Agree with your love of this .3. I love the .1 as well. The .2 was fine, but I would recommend either of the other 2

I live in the state of NC and our ABC stores have very limited Scotch selections, I almost fainted when I saw a 14.1 and snagged it up right away... although I have not opened yet, Ardbeg Uigeadail is one of my absolute favorites and I compare all the peated whiskeys to it and ask is it better than Ugi.....?

Great review, from the year 2023 my favorite is the 14.2, although I also really like the 14.3. In 2023 there were 4 editions, the 14.4 is matured in virgin Colombian barrels. SLÀINTE 🥃🥃

I am going to be opening my bottle of 6.3 in March 2024. In my opinion the best Octomore released to date. I'll contact you once it is open so I can figure a way to send you a sample. At last count I have over 25 different releases of Octomore.

I don’t drink peated whiskey,I just don’t like the flavor. I’m very glad that you and Bill like it though.

I have 14.1 and 14.2. Still haven't opened either bottle. Once I find 14.3 I might crack them all to blind and compare. Octomore isn't everywhere but it does sit on shelf in StL longer than I would expect.

What would recommend for a cost effective alternative to Octomore?

Is it worth the money at $210 + shipping? I’m debating on this or the 14.1 which is only $150.

I’ve had the Octomore 12.1, 12.3, and the 13.3. The .3s have been some of the best whiskies that I’ve ever had. Was thinking about going for the 14.2 next, but I might just go for the 14.3 after watching your review. Well done. 🥃

Cool to see a lady with a whiskey channel! Didn't expect that when I typed Octomore into the search bar.
Also a great review regardless of the presenters gender.
    Thanks!
