@@Awesome-odavidson Dude pumps sponsored ads but never discloses like everyone else
@@Playerz714 he is practically a sell out and every product is the best product and the best at the current time. biased on who pays him more.
all these complaints but you still here
For all I know he could be just getting the products to review for free, without being paid for it , idk if that technically would count as a sponsorship
Tell me you're a sponsored video without telling me you're a sponsored video.
if small content creators like myself have to disclose this, he needs to be doing it also. He must be scared how bad people are getting crapped on when companies send us stuff to review. I get it but when I review a product, i take zero cash and I will review it negatively if it sucks with no problem lol.
Really glad that other content creators that cover the Steam Deck and Emulation have become much more accessible.
Unfortunately ETA Prime has been pushing sponsored content much more often and his videos genuinely don’t feel fun to watch anymore. Long time subscriber back during his Launchbox days, I understand the dude has to make his money, just wish he would be more up front and honest in his videos.
Not to mention it's Like they are all reading the same script. ETA is a week or two behind the other 30 that reviewd it last week. I hate that these shrills are lying about the product, specifically that screen size that seems to be getting bigger by the week
@@th3betacatI came to say this. I bet lots of us feel the same way.
Is there a problem with that?
Excuse me but this is a dangerous video for steam deck owners, I must warn you, you risk damaging your console, which eta prime doesn't say, and I don't know for what reason even if I have a doubt...the battery obstructs the air intake and entirely. The manufacturer didn't pay attention and this is very dangerous because your console won't ventilate properly...don't buy this product!
that dock blocking the air inlet though
The pack on the back covers the Steamdeck cooling vent for the system. This is going to cause overheating issues!
Plus you should hold extra weight for no reason
@@JohnFerrier The snap on cover has molded pins that keeps the cover from resting directly into the air vent. It allows for the heat to escape from all sides. Testing was done with this cover on, and it did not affect the Steamdecks thermals. There’s no way Viture would’ve overlooked this before product release.
46 degree FOV is like a 27” monitor 30” away from your face, but the lenses focus in a way that makes it feel closer to 6’ away. That’s where the screen size comes in.
is this a bad thing?
@@moafwaz5563 It's unimpressive compared to saying "135 inch screen" but in theory you could feel less eye strain compared to having a smaller screen at a closer distance. In terms of how much detail you can see it shouldn't change anything at all once eyesight correction is dialed correctly
@dontpokethebear3893 Thank you for giving the FOV. Either no one is saying it or I keep missing it. How is the DPI like can you see the actual pixels? If its really as good a decent monitor I might consider it, and does it cut off corners like some of the other glasses?
To place it in perspective, THX recommends a 36 degree viewing angle for the optimal cinema viewing experience and requires the back row of seats in a theatre to have at least a 26 degree fov.
This not anything like a 135 screen
That controller is a sick combo for the deck
How is it compared to Nreal AR pro?
4:20 doesn’t that say that you get 10% MORE battery life with the glasses directly connected? I think it’s because the glasses uses less power than the display
yeah i think so aswell, the glasses just use a less power than the much larger steam deck display.
But if you keep the display on, for whatever reason (maybe additional software being displayed there, or duplicated screens), then you would see a battery life decrease. Pretty sure ThePhawx tested it with both being on and there was a decrease in battery life.
@@Klaeyy good to know
Viture also sent these over to me and I enjoy them a lot. I’ve been mostly playing forza on the legion go with them and also watching RUclips 😊
Did you get these sent over / is this sponsored ? Or did you buy these
This was a really thorough overview! We're honored to be your new favorite way to play on the Steam Deck and delighted that you're enjoying VITURE Pro so much - thank you for your review!
I am interested due to my health condition i lay down a lot and having glasses like that would be cool when I can afford
Where do I download the spacewalker app for Windows? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
@@headamuse it’s not out
Those myopia adjusters are going to have to be epic for my horrendous, legally-blind-without-vision-correction eyes!
the steamdeck 2 is going to be interesting, if they could answer my wishlist with a 8.4in screen, higher resolution display,144hz, and vrr im all on board
And ARM pls for better battery life
@@SWOTHDRA A mobile ARM-based Linux device - that works with a Steam Deck-level software compatibility - *WILL* be an absolute game-changer.
Does it head tracking? Will the virtual monitor "float" in place or is it always fixed relative to your head?
No joke, thought the viewers were gonna see the face behind ETA Prime using the glasses. I guess for now we'll settle with the floating arms 😔
Viture didn't pay him THAT much😋
Does it support normal prescription lenses?
Maybe disclose that its an Ad at least, and maybe don't claim its a review when it obviously is not a review. Been watching your videos for years and love your channel but this was wack 👎
Been using Viture glasses with the iPad air in public to watch movies while waiting for appointments etc. Mind blowing as you can shut the lid on the iPad and video keeps playing. Glasses look normal enough that I don't get any weird looks. Bought a cheap tablet holding arm mounted to the bed head to use with watching movies in bed using the glasses. For what they do they are indeed cheap considering 1080p rez. Short of somehow slimming the glasses down I don't see how they could be any more perfect.
I have the non-pro vitures and I use it with my Legion Go. They are awesome. They are completely plug and play.
I just picked up a pair of the XReal Air 2 Pros for gaming and WOW!!! The screen size is legit wall sized. I’m just thankful to have a normal sized nose, so they work well for me.
Nice! And make sure to get the XREAL Hub for extended game time as it allows you to charge and play at the same time!
I’m gonna get the Temu version lol
Yeh, shop like a billionaire 👍
450 bucks. Oh yes, I'll get 2 of them, one pair for each eye
one to use, one to lose 🙂
Is there any point to the Mobile Dock Pro if you only use the glasses with your phone (other than battery life and multiple glasses)?
Does it have screen anchoring like the Xreal Beam? If not, it’s unusable.
can you explain what screen anchoring is?
@@moafwaz5563makes the virtual screen stay in a certain place so you can have a virtual room with things around you
It seems like it does based on the spacewalker app description
Yes they can
it does using the spacewalker app but what you can pin may be dependent of what operating system you use.
I'm using android and the spacewalker app only uses viture webbrowser, so thats the only windows you can pin.
You can't pin other android apps, just viture webbrower.
The spacewalker app should be out for windows this month, im sure this won't be the case with windows.(i hope)
I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Isn't there a cheaper way to connect it to glasses other than paying 120 dollars for two devices?
Do the glasses work with the steam decks refresh rate caps? Or are they locked at 60/120hz?
Can you also try this on ROG ALLY and Legion go?
Agreed!
why? it would be the same
Better than the Xreal air 2 pro?
he's not allowed to say anything like that. It's a sponsored video. Just a regular ad, nothing more.
I had a chance to test them with a steamdeck for a couple of days and it was a mind-blowing experience, to me it felt more like 85" from 2.5 m but let's face it with 720p that is still a lot. Picture quality on this thing was a massive surprise I was not expecting to see a sharp vibrant image it's a shame there's no way to capture this on using a camera. Simultaneously I was playing around with Meta Quest 3 and in comparison I found it quite disappointing so if I had to pick one those glasses would be my pick.
does the display REALLY look that big??? I've tried a couple and it wasn't even. close to that big imo
Just finished Ghost of Tsushima on my Steam Deck wearing these glasses. They are extremely amazing! Totally changed the way I play video games now: )

Do you have buy special lenses if you are farsighted with these?
Usually, he does a great review so in-depth.. really didn't get much information from this other than he liked it.
Rather unusual video for someone who I hold in high regard.
How does the deck breath with the mount attachment on it
Does it truly get rid of blurry edges?
No
Like VR headsets, it really depends on your head shape since (obviously) the devices are made with the creators face in mind usually. Gotta try it to see how well it works.
This is the future of gaming tbh
since you can adjust for your eyes, does that mean if we wear RX glasses, we would just ned to adjust the dials like you did until the pic is clear? or would we need some sort of RX lens attachment like other AR glasses?
Great video. Could you please check their compatibility with ios devices? what does their app offer, and how good is the outcome?
135" at 1080p, how does it really look?
Might have to pick these up soon
135" is a term of art - that's 135 inches at 3 meters, or 15 feet - worn, the experience will be a lot more like a 55-65 inch display, or sitting quite close to a standard monitor.
That's not to say AR glasses aren't absolutely brilliant as a wearable display.
This video is clearly sponsored as it's covering their marketing material in it's entirety without making any meaningful comparisons to competing or similar products nor is it offering any real or meaningful criticism. Undisclosed sponsorships are gross and a dealbreaker for me.
@@VentureBulo yeah, same. It's not hard to disclose "I was paid to review this content and Viture had overrule authority on this review." That doesn't mean the information is worthless, but that context is vitally important. When I can tell here, that means maybe sometimes it's happening and I can't tell, so no matter what I can never, ever trust ETAprime.
Just got mine, they are just insanely good... I feel like they will be the future of handheld gaming. Everybody should try them.
Would love to see u test the Rokid AR Lite and get ur thoughts when u compared those two
One question. Can you play minecraft vr on the steam deck with the glasses?
I had the virtue xr glasses not the pro and they are amazing
Can you adjust if you're oversighted aswell?
I like the idea of tecno, a handheld with 0 screen and ar glasse so u can play at any pose ! Normal handheld force you looking down all the time !
I have the first viture one version of these, they are good. One thing I didnt like though with the battery pack is that you cant charge the dock whilst its connected to the glasses. And you cant charge the deck with the glasses connected as the deck only has one USB C port. It also charged the deck slowly, seeing no charge for increased TDPs. Meaning you cant really alternate charging the dock and dock+deck. A bit gutted the vitures one isnt 120hz since the competition were bringing 120hz products out around the same time they started shipping :( The neckband is a bit meh too, it has a few streaming apps but not a whole android tv experience I was expecting
I have the pros and I can legit say they’re amazing.
You'd think the resolution of a display would be an important piece of information that would be easy to find.
AR eyeglasses have been around for quite some time now. At the very least, it's a cool concept.
How does it work with the rog ally can you make a video on that please
hey could you test this with samsung dex ?
If the battery dock had another charging port for a phone or something it would be an instant buy.
What's the PPI?
Isn’t 1080p a little low?
Is the screen fixed in front of your eyes so if follows your head movements, or floating like in VR? I can't stand having the screen move when I move my head. Every little stretch moves the screen around wildly. When the make these but with a virtual desk/theater room like oculus has I will be interested.
Screen is fixed to your head movements, but with the SpaceWalker app you can set it up in a fixed location. And the neckband supposedly adds in features to lock the screen in place / smooth follow.
So I'm like farsighted how does that work?
I too has the Astigmatism, and I think my left eye is the stronger eye as well. LUCKILY mine's not TERRIBLE so I almost never wear my glasses, I mean I really should.
I just ordered the 8bitdo controller, thats all I'm interested in
I don't get why glasses like these are not being developed with an IPD ajustment. Not everyone has the same eye to eye distance which can cause blurriness on the edges depending on your IPD. If you happen to fall within the range that it is fixed at, I am sure it is great. I am typically on the higher IPD distance that all the glasses like these without and IPD have turned out to cause blurriness on the outside edges. For the amount of money glasses like these cost. There is no way I would settle for blurriness on the edges. I haven't tried these, but so far I have returned the ones I have bought in the past. Finally gave up.
Wow we going black mirror
I really dislike the emphasis on screen size. If the resolution is garbage, the size doesn’t matter… 1080p is okay, but at 135” equivalent it’s gonna look pixelated.
Does SteamDeck OLED supports Oculink ?
Those look like exact copies or the Xreal pros
It is exactly the opposite, xreal copied viture, they just rushed to the market, now they are way behind
@@AlexJorgensenPresident considering XReal has been in business since 2017 and vitiate has been around since 2021. I find that hard to believe.
Also, XReal formally known as nreal had AR glasses in 2021, so I’m pretty sure you’re incorrect
@@andrewwoulfe6579 It doesn't matter when they started, xreal/nreal struggled all the early years with another kind of product until viture launched KS and disclosed all the features and broke the funding record; all the other brands just followed suit; it seems viture just focus more on the products instead of marketing, but more people are into viture now
No point in changing an already decent design to be fair.
@@dumpling8349 agreed. Keep decreasing the weight and increase the comfort
Already getting the Ally x can only imagine with the bigger batter and these glasses how much longer I can play lol tho are the glasses good for games that don’t run 60 fps locked ?
Will end up spending easy 1.5k for the full setup 🤦🏽
Might as well get a high end laptop.
@@Saif0412 Portability and gaming on the go is way better on a handheld tbh. Just being able to pop it out and play for a few minutes then sleep easily makes it better than a laptop. If you need something for work then a laptop is easily the better choice.
Is it true that the virtual screen is only equivalent to 24in monitor in front of you instead of a huge screen like a theatre?
Talking about these screens in terms of inches is silly. The screen takes up 46 degrees (diagonally) of your vision. If you trick your brain into thinking it's 10 ft away, then it looks like a 135" screen. If it looks 3 ft away, then it will seem more like a 40" screen.
I bought two pairs of these last week along with the neckband, usb-c adapter and switch dock.
It would be interesting if there were a steam deck-like device with no screen that was meant to be paired to a device like this.
I'm thinking of getting a mini PC for this very use case.
The myopia adjustment should be standard on all these kinds of devices as it is the most obvious of marketable features.
I don't get how distance is a factor with regards to the screen size because nothing is being projected out.
Once they come down below the £$€200 mark then we will likely see a much greater mass market take-up.
Wow 😊
Can we play vr games with quest connect to stem
Anyone know where I buy a MagSafe Phone Mount for my SD?
7:02 that guy looks like a younger drake 😂
if only the steamdeck had another USB C port, I could use my AR Glasses for more than 15 minutes with it...
dock have only one usbc ? i cant charge with this dock ?
No you can't charge and use at the same time which is annoying. You'd have to alternate between charging this and letting the deck discharge. I'm not sure how fast this version charges but there was a slow discharge with the original battery dock model
The best glasses for the deck? Also wash those hands man.
Shouldn't you disclose promoted content?
Will this work with the ally x ? I think it should
Yes, it works with Ally and basically all handheld PCs
$460 for 1080p? Yes no thanks.
Yea but ar and on your face lol
Hi ETA, is the LCD version of SteamDeck still worth it to buy?
LCD Steamdeck is really only good if you need the cheapest option and you mostly play retro games.
The HDR screen and improved battery life of Steamdeck OLED are a pretty big deal.
@@budthecyborg4575 I see, aight, maybe now I can consider to buy the OLED one
Those Glasse are cool

if this lower price than monitor i would buy it
These look decent, but I'm so sick of companies putting proprietary connectors on everything, and charging huge markups for replacement cables. Guarantees that anything with the connector will become e-waste sooner than later
Seem a better buy than Apple's own goggles.
That battery pack is the dumbest design I've ever seen, it covers the vents lmao. I was interested in the glasses until then, if one device is so purely designed then the others are no doubt poorly designed too.

These AR glasses are still too expensive, for the same money you could get a good 4K screen with USB-C display 100W PD and still have some money left over.
