Relaxing Motorcycle Ride in the Colorado Mountains | Harley Sportster Chopper RAW Engine Sound Only

- Опубликовано: 22 июл 2024
- Take a relaxing ASMR POV motorcycle ride with me over Colorado's Guanella Pass to enjoy the fall foliage! *This is a RAW ENGINE SOUND ONLY video.*
Guanella Pass is a 24-mile Scenic Byway that's typically open between May and October and rises to 11,669 feet in elevation. It's one of my favorite motorcycle rides near Denver, especially when the aspen trees are popping with vibrant yellows around every turn! We will be riding the entire pass from Grant, Colorado (near Al's Pits) into Georgetown, Colorado. Georgetown is one of the best preserved Victorian-era mining towns in the state and is a cool place to check out when you have the time. Tons of history and places to eat!
I'm riding my 2003 Harley-Davidson Sportster in this video, equipped with a TBR Two Brothers Racing 2-1 Exhaust. The motor has been bumped to a 1200 from an 883 with Screamin' Eagle Heads, an upgraded cam, and various other aftermarket accessories. This is not a stock motorcycle.
Whether you're looking to just go for a ride along or enjoy ASMR motorcycle content, hopefully, you enjoy the ride!

First POV-only Video! What do y'all think? Music next time? No Music? This was fun to make since I got to enjoy the ride and didn't stop to film anything along the way. Hopefully, you enjoyed it too! 😊
I love it like this.
yay!
I think it’s super cool! Don’t get me wrong I love all your content …but I think it’s cool some of these recent things you’ve done that are slightly off your norm! That is such a killer Sportster! What are those bars you’re running they are SIck!!!!
@@FASTLANEMOTO Thanks! It's fun to experiment and create different types of stuff. The bars are custom made by my friends at Martian Machine in Kansas! I believe they call them "skid bars" and they offer a few different options
I quite like it. Sometimes you just want to ride along without a word, you know? Thanks!
I do really enjoy this format, but definitely not all the time. Your commentary is one of the great things about your channel, so keeping that, and throwing in one of these POV videos every once in a while would be awesome!
that's the plan!!! I'm thinking MAYBE 12 of these a year. Definitely not a focus of the channel. Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Not to seem *too* thirsty, but watching this video I now realize that at least a small part of the enjoyment I get from your content comes from hearing your voice and seeing your braids fluttering in the wind.
Great video! Beautiful colors, wonderful road, and your bikes are always fun to experience.
Thanks! Not to worry, these videos won't be a big focus on the channel. But they're fun and easy to make and allow for me to enjoy the ride and share it with others :)
Now that is life Behind Bars, great video. Always take time-out for yourself, after all we ride for enjoyment and stress relief. Thanks
Love Guanella Pass. I remember when it was all gravel - LOL!
Lol! When was it paved? It's such a good ride!
Loved this! Not sure how I missed it before! Thanks for sharing!
Thank You for taking us along. We Loved it❤
Love the colors and contrast of the pines and aspens.
Makes me sad that I’m going to miss the colors this year but thanks so much for sharing this! The sound and video is a great way for us to experience the ride even if we can’t make it to Colorado 😎
So good, more of this please! Perfect for when you need a ride but can't get out! Thank you!
BEAUTIFUL! I've always wanted to visit CO since I was a kid. Thx for sharing, Staci! 👍🏽
Thanks for taking us along for the beautiful ride. Thoroughly enjoyed it 😊
Yay! :)
Love it. Nice change of pace.
Nice Chop!!! Engine sound is all I need!!!!!!! Ride safe
Such a beautiful ride. I do love the view through those handlebars
😎 Love ❤️ this video!! This is my favorite type of ride. Rewatching this in Jan and Feb will help me through the winter. . . And yes I was leaning in my chair through the switch backs 😁 . . More like this please. 🏍️
Yay! Glad you loved it!! I'll be doing more of these in the future :)
l stayed for the whole ride.. great view from behind the bars love it.. full on ride for sure & great Vid... Knee's in Da Sporty brreeeezzzeeeeee........... cheers from Down Under
Thanks Trev!!! Glad to hear ya enjoyed it!
Well Staci my POV of this is great makes me feel right at home, but I do love your commentary when you have it......thank you ...😊..love your smile...
Thank you! My “normal” videos won’t be going anywhere. Just gonna post these types of videos here and there moving forward
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SCENERY AND PLEASANT DRIVE 😂I MEAN RIDE 😂😂😂😂😂❤LOVED THIS FORMAT MORE REALISTIC FANTASY WISE THANK YOU FOR SHARING ❤
Enjoyed this kind of video. True, I don't get to enjoy the aspines like you; I'm way over on the East coast. Please put more footage like this in regular videos and do this more often. Thank you for this video!
Always cool to mix it up a little. I enjoy pretty much anything you do lately. Keep doin you Staci.
Thanks Wayne!
I think it's good with no music. Perfect for a Sunday morning with a mug of tea. I can't easily ride around in Colorado so it's cool to live vicariously sometimes and also to see things you wouldn't normally show, like the HEP plant.
Great scenery... Those bars are wild af, Staci!!
Haha thank you! I had them built for my sporty by my friends at Martian Machine! They fit me like a glove! 😊
Great job! Well done.
Loved the video! Very relaxing and great scenery.
Glad you enjoyed it! I'll be doing some more of these in the future on other bikes (periodically!)
Looks like a awesome ride and video thanks for sharing. You always have great video keep up the good work
What great footage of this trail! I thought I had ridden every corner of CO and flat missed this quiet, scenic gem!
Its a beaut! highly recommend :)
@@ridetofood I actually had to look it up online, never heard of this “Unincorporated” town it said Grant was… lol. It’s on my to ride list.
It really is some awesome scenery. Last time I was in the Colorado mountains was 1982. I was only there for about three months. Very nice ride you had that day.
Sometimes simple is best. I am going to save this video. When it is January and you live in the North, it has been raining for two weeks and is 41 degrees out, this is the video you will need. Thanks Staci.
Yay! Glad you enjoyed it :)
I grew up in Bailey, so I've driven/ridden Guanella pass probably over 100 times...but It's been over 15 years since I moved away. It's great to see how it looks now. I used to go fishing at the lakes in Georgetown....back when there was 2 of them. That's how long ago it's been HA
lol! it's always cool to hear stories from CO Natives that know these areas. thanks for sharing!
Staci, you are an amazing rider! I often wonder what ends up on the cutting room floor of everyone's youtube videos, but this(nearly) continuous shot video shows just how impressive your skills are. Really enjoyed this departure from your norm, of course your polished productions are what we all crave but I had on this no frills ride. Keep being exactly who you are, and ride safe.
Thank you :)
The same year I moved from Colorado Springs to California, you moved the opposite way. You’ve come a long way. I like this view btw.
I love it. I also love sportsters. They're the toughest Harley.
This was super relaxing. I had it on in the background while I was working today. I need to make some of these to get a road fix during the off-season in Chicago.
And for this type of video... I like it without music! I agree with others - the camera angle could have been a bit higher... still great, though! Where did you have it mounted?
loved it !!!
I liked it. Captivating, satisfying. The pure continuity would not let go. This is rare stuff. Great work, artistic....sorry, I liked it.
haha glad you enjoyed it!
Love the video. The POV of that bank is 💲💲. Love your content....keep it coming. ♥️
Thanks Tim!!!!
Wow what a place and perfect roads! The color is amazing. Nice video 👌🏻
The bike sounds great too 😁
Love this video! You’re really fortunate to be able to ride these twisties, such beautiful scenery… I’m sure you’re aware of that. I currently live in Florida, but was born and raised in the southernmost state of Brazil, beautiful roads like this there too, where I used to ride my good old 2008 Dyna FXD… good times, miss the hills and curves, oh man…
It must have skipped my mind lol
Absolutely loved the video, with just sounds of the road and the bike. Too many moto-vloggers ruin a good ride with music or rambling mindless thoughts they think everyone will like. But sometimes the ride says all we need to hear... But don't get me wrong we all appreciate your commentary and view points as always. I may be biased on this one, I just needed to ride along in your pocket for a while. This video was a great pallet clenser for me, it was a wonderful calm end to my crazy day. It is such a beautiful road!!! Thank you for sharing it with us!
Glad you enjoyed it! And other styles as well. 😊
Amazing amazing! I put some lofi on and enjoyed this video with a nice cup of coffee enjoying the cooler air in Austin Texas, in the Morning of course. Anything you put out is awesome!
thats the way to do it!!! I even played it earlier with some tunes and cleaned my kitchen! hahaha. cheers! thank you :)
I learned about your channel yesterday from Jordan while getting a haircut and one of my very favorite indulgences, a straight razor shave. Really loved the aspens!
Aw yay! This particular video is a little different from what I usually put it out but I’ll have some new videos up soon!! 😊
Pretty dang cool ride along
Ok so that was awesome! When I do rides like that I'm usually watching the road and miss the scenery unless i stop somewhere. Thanks for the ride! * your bike sounds great too 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Loved it! Thank you!
Yay! 😊
Really appreciate this video since I was diagnosed with ALS no riding for me anymore.
The video me feel like I was out there.
Safe Travels❤️
Glad it gave you some "time in the seat" :)
Through me off at first, thought something went wrong with the audio. But then I noticed the awesome bright yellow trees. Great to mix it up sometimes. There must be balance between enjoying your ride and recording. I tell myself that a lot. Don’t let yourself miss the beauty of your ride.
Amazingly gorgeous ride! It's my favorite time of year here in Colorado! Fall rides just hit different!
I liked the POV motorcycle ASMR, but like others have said, a lot of what makes your videos so fun to watch is your narration of whatever adventure you are on.
I'd say room for both for sure.
Oh yeah, these are NOT gonna be a primary focus on the channel. Just one here and there for people who can't enjoy the ride the way we get to. :)
Beautiful views and a nice ride 🙂✌
I want to go …sometimes no word rides are good. They are so relaxing especially with the great views. Great video variety. I do enjoy your commentary video style.
Thank you! :)
John Denver would love this! Awesome!! 🎉
I just had surgery and am unable to ride right now. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through you :)
Happy to help! :)
Really cool colors!
Just love your content. I am a fan for sure.
Thank you 😊
I like these kind of videos , to me it's like the rain / storm / ocean ones... it's calming and soothing. 👍🤘
Yay! Glad you like them!
Ill have to ride all the way through Guanella Pass next season, looks like a great ride.
I love this as one of the various forms of content you create. It's great to escape with, letting me feel like I'm the one that took that great ride. 😁
Glad you enjoyed this one!! 😊
Beautiful Ride!!!! I got lost in your video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video scenery & landscape Its a lot like central & northern Ontario my home province I enjoyed just listening to the engine & exhaust sound Some music is good sometimes I do enjoy your commentary though missed that part Anyway keep the videos coming Thanks for the Ride in the Wind
Purposely didn’t want to talk in this. It’s just about the ride! 😊👍
So, I really dig your channel. I just got home from a 2k mile trip from Albuquerque NM to Mobile AL, and rode through the Ozarks in AK…. What a great adventure!
To show support for your Chanel, I’ve subscribed, and I leave youtube running on the TV when we leave the house. The dog seems to really like it, and you get views daily! Keep up the great work!
What a rad trip!! Thanks for supporting the channel. Appreciate you! 😊
harley symphony, amazing place!perfect!!💯
Beautiful ride
Indeed! 😊
Nice ride I was saying brother but at the end you surprised me nice ride young lady
haha thank you!
I finally got to watch this video, I really enjoyed it because I’m sitting here in Minnesota on 3 December and it’s three below and there’s snow on the ground. I’m not sure why I live here.
Haha I completely understand! It’s like a “fireplace” video you can just put on and enjoy when you need some “ride time” 😊
The colours are beautiful! Whilst I love your channel, I do recognise the trade off that comes with success, of filming and whilst ignorant in my ability to edit and produce content.
So seeing you 'just ride' is fantastic.
I look forward to more pf both.
Ride safe.
Thank you 😊
Nice ride. wow the aspen leaves already turning
Yep. These were just past peak actually!
Awesome video, those brilliant yellows on the trees are my favorite in fall. All those switchbacks are so cool. My only issue is I am short and could not see over the handle bars 🤣.I would love to ride that road. Thanks again for sharing your mountains!
haha you would probably be fine (the camera was angled really low). Guanella Pass is a great ride. Hopefully you'll get to enjoy it at some point!
love these kinds of videos every once in a while. also i wish i lived in CO
Guanella is a spectacular ride this time of year. I'm going to try for it during the week to hopefully avoid some leaf peeper traffic. Awesome vid, as always 🤘
It was PACKED the three days I was up there this past week. If you can get onto the pass by 8 or 9am on the grant side and ride over to georgetown just in time for shops to open up for an early lunch, you'll miss most of the traffic :)
Yes well done 🍫🍿🍦🍟🥖🥨🍔🍕🧁🍰🍩
Like the format, reminds me of videos done by The Road Rider in Italy. He or she never speaks just the motor sounds. I really enjoy the narration format also.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll be doing mostly narration with a few of these "quiet" videos thrown in for fun here and there. :)
Enjoyed it, stayed you rode yesterday(Friday?)... Was watching it today (Saturday). And thought it was raining and cold up there?? Looked like a nice ride! My wife had been itching to get up to see the colors.... Might try Monday...... Great video!!
Yep! I was on the Grant side of the pass at 8:30am and rode straight over to Georgetown for lunch (Cabin Creek Brewing!) It was chilly but I beat the rain all the way back down the hill to town! Enjoy! :)
I love the paint job
Please do a walkaround of that bike. Looks like a lot of love went into it from what little I can see. I'd love to get a look at the rest! Need ideas for my '75 ironhead chop project this winter.
I'll get to that one soon I hope! been trying to film it for a while.
Thanks for taking us along. I enjoyed the video...Camera angel cldv been better but I see you addressed that in other comments. I'm a fan of hearing the bikes so i think you could offset videos some with music some without. Either way I'm gonna watch. :-)
That was awesome, you should do it again sometime! Thank you from a scooter tramp of four decades, who a year before the pandemic moved to the Republic of Panama to be an expat and was unable to bring a bike along, it was nice to armchair it with you. I noticed that we ride a very similar ride, because I found myself mentally shifting and making the gear choices that you did at the same time. I did take note that the color of autumn in your paint job of your tank truly matched the colors of your ride. Someday soon I hope to get my paperwork squared away and pick up a bike here, maybe then I can share Panama with others like you do. My thoughts are intermittent music, but more engine than music for the true POV ride. SSU-RSD and GB! 🤠
Thank you! Hopefully ya get back on two soon! I’ll be doing videos like this again in the future here and there 😊
YES! Thank You !
You’re welcome 😊
Same setting here in the Adirondacks… leaves are changing quick an the scenery is amazing all 4 seasons. Awesome job
I gotta get out there! I hear that area is so rad to ride!
@@ridetofood absolutely! Especially this time of year. Come through, there’s so many great places to eat an have a beer
I absolutely love this video of yours. Not your norm.but you should do more of these. I just rode to the Redwoods in California and back from South TX. But I always love sitting back and relaxing to this kind of stuff as all.of us riders do. Thanks for the video and keep up the good work. 🤘🏼
Thank you for the feedback!! I'm thinking of doing 6-12 of these a year if I get the chance to ride a scenic area! This was a test run but looks like so far most people are enjoying it even if it's a little bit different! It was nice to just go for a ride and not stop all the time lol!
Ride for you, ride for your soul. Just film so we can ride along. Music or no music, whatever. If people don't like it, they can make their own video.
Amazing video!!!! No talking, no music just the views and the road, awesome. This is the type of videos that I wished all RUclips motorcycle videos were like.
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Where's the beef? I was expecting a lakeside eatery at the end of this glorious ride!Seriously though, 30+ minutes of just the sound of the wind and that exhaust note was simply mesmerizing. More of this format please?
Thank you! Id definitely like to do more of these!
Looks like a great ride…no music was 😎and I really like the paint work on your bikes👌👍
Thank you! Glad ya enjoyed it!
I put in my headphones while working and put this on. Great ASMR when I can't be on 2 wheels 👍
🙌 perfect! Glad ya enjoyed it 😊
Really really beautiful
Really really amazing
Try some other bikes too
Would love to see your dyna and yeah adding some gas station stoppage and buying some beer 🍺 would make them better
The Dyna is unfortunately broken and unrideable for the rest of forever! I’ll be selling calendars to fundraise for a new bike later this month!
Perfect.
My wife and I (she rides a Dyna) will taking that trip tomorrow. Perfect time of year here in Colorado, isn't it? Your content is always great.
NICE! Thank you! I filmed this yesterday! So y’all should see some great foliage tomorrow!
I was made aware of your channel by Adventure Rider. Enjoying your videos, catching up. I moved from Colorado 35 years ago so I can't enjoy Guanella Pass. I rode it often, enjoyed it everytime.
Thanks for following along! Was it paved then? I’m not sure when they paved it, but I’ve heard it was a fun dirt route!
@@ridetofood To be honest I don't remember for sure but I don't think so. I had a BMW R75/5 back then which rode very well on paved or dirt roads. I rode a lot of dirt back then. I ride a Moto Guzzi V7lll and a Triumph Bonneville now. I also watched your video with the new Harley adventure bike. I would think it might be a bit heavy for you. You might check out a Moto Guzzi V85TT, a lighter bike but a lot of character like a Harley.
Guess you’ll have to keep watching to find out if it’s too big for me 😎
Love the video!
ASMR for bikers/riders.
The sound is way clear than my camera 😂
🤘🏼
Lol I used a wind sock thingy!
@@ridetofood oh!
O.o sexy bike, looks hot AF and that paint sheeei' almost as beautiful as you. A kool ride loved the scene, thanks for sharing
thanks for watching!
Where you been? Love your videos been waiting for the next one. miss you hope all is good
Packing calendars and working on other work stuff! I have 22 videos to edit right now. Hoping to have one up this weekend. 😊
Nice Lil sporty
Pure music!
I love it . 360 camera would have been awesome. Plus you could hook up a mic and talk about staci stuff or updates . The 2 lane life guys hit it on the head that you have a radio voice. Keep it up!!
thanks! I’ll stick to voice overs in the videos that they’re appropriate for! This one wasn’t meant for that. Just riding. No BS. 😊
A little mix of all is good sounds like the sporty was enjoying the Crisp Air
If it wasn't....I sure was! hahaha!
@@ridetofood yeah we finally getting some cooler weather in Alabama been Nice Lately
This can be done within the narrative videos. Both are excellent. Let the motorcycle talk for a few minutes. Cool. 👍
Great ride. Beautiful scenery. Maybe add some low volume background music. I love hearing the bike though on this ride. 🤘🤘🤘
I think on some shorter ones i'll for sure add some tunes! I'll prolly go back and forth and see how it goes on future rides. Thanks for watching!! :)
Nice POV video. I loved the scenery and the sound of the bike.I really like your voice over stuff too. Maybe you could do a mix? Not enough cops in Colorado to need a speedometer?
The VOs are for other styles of videos! This was supposed to just be a ride along. 😊👍
A&K’s Place in Georgetown had a great pulled pork sandwich. Kind of a fixer upper restaurant but the girl serving was super nice and the sandwich was the bomb!
oooooh I saw that spot on the map! I went to cabin creek brewing on this trek. great beer and food as well if you're ever back in the area!
That's a wicked cool little scooter, although my old arse hurts just looking at that little seat. Oh, to be young and made of tougher stuff again.
It can be a little thin at times 😂
Rad view
