Oh this takes me back! 🥰 I was an 80s baby so I had Dream Glow, Barbie and the Rockers and that Magic Moves doll. Sadly, I don’t have my original Barbies but I have found treasures at the thrift stores; Dream Glow and Barbie and the Rockers and Magic curl Barbie, all in their original outfits! 😍😍😍 I actually started typing up an email to send to you with my “Barbie Story”, and took out my Barbie and the Rockers doll (different version than I had but she still brings back memories:) Now I’ve been singing the Rockers theme song non-stop😅💕
Those are good dolls. I didn't play with them, my daughter did. But I remember her getting them and enjoying them. LOL you can't get it out of your head (music) You can send me your Barbie story anytime. Happy Barbie hunting.

Oh man you just covered a bunch of my barbies I had as a kid. Ha ha. Yes I was an 80s child. I sold 2 of mine as an adult at one point. Peaches and loving you. I will be looking to repurchase them again. Lol. I loved the loving you so much. I guess I took pretty good care of mine. They sold easily. All accessories. But I had years of play with them all.
I know I have sold some kinda regret it now. But Have to let some go sometimes. I sole the loving you MIB

Angel Face was my first Barbie. I don't know why mine in particular was the way it was, but her dress had no snaps at the neck. Pretty sure the reason I didn't have many Barbies growing up after that was that Dad got annoyed at being the designated head remover at fashion show time. I was afraid to break her 🤣
I've since got ahold of another one who came with all her accessories... And HER dress has a snap at the neck! To this day I wonder if I had a factory defect or not.

Love these dolls! I had all those as a kid and now that I collect I’ve re-bought them all! Your doll in the Crystal Barbie outfit is Crystal Barbie. I want to say the one you show after her is a Dream Glow Barbie in that shimmery fashion. The one in the Perfume Pretty outfit looks like a Pink and Pretty Barbie. Loved this video ❤️.
Dream Glow Ken is a brunette also.

I love the 80s dolls you have. The gold one is really pretty. I found a 68 Ken doll at a thrift store recently for $4.99 and it included two Barbie dolls. Love thrift stores. Thanks for sharing. 😀🌹

They made some awesome outfits. Hard to tell one doll from another mostly. But a few are very unique.

Great video. There were two Barbie and The Rockers sets. The first one had the wild eye makeup. The second set had the dancing clicking action. So you have some from each set. The Diva is from set one.

Oh my goodness! Such memories! I remember wanting every single Barbie in the eighties! Back then, we only got toys at our birthday or Christmas! Am I wrong or do kids get presents for every little thing nowadays?! To each it’s own, I guess! Anyway, I want to start collecting again! It is like reliving my childhood again! Thanks for the show!
I only got a doll at Christmas. Not even my birthday because mom said it was too close to Christmas. I did get paper dolls though on occasion throughout the year. But I always had a big Christmas, and I still had the toys by the next Christmas. LOL Glad you want to start collecting it is addictive but does bring back memories of being a child. Plus, they are beautiful and it's fun.
I was lucky. I got a new barbie almost everytime I went to the store so I had all of these dolls plus some as a little girl in the 80's

I wanna get Peaches 'N Cream so bad but a mint condition (the original, not reproduction version) is so expensive online! 😩
Also Kissing Barbie was produced in 1978 and released in stores in 1979. I know this because Kissing Barbie is my favorite Barbie Doll of all time! I have a mint condition one that's never been removed from her box displayed on my dresser. She definitely costed a pretty penny but not as much as Peaches N' Cream is going for!
Peaches and cream has really went up the last few years. I found my at a yard sale for $5. But I bought my daughter one in box for Christmas, and it was around $80 but that has been about 5 years ago. Hope you find one soon for a good price. Good Luck😀

Hello New sub here, I'm an avid collector too and just came across your channel, such fun! I have like 600 in my collection. I am not an opener I just can't do it LOL. I do however have all my Barbies from the 1980's that are out of boxes as I had them originally as a child. The answer to your questions is.. The Dee Dee is a Rocker doll, as 1986 the first set of Rockers came out without cranking arms, then in 1987 they came out with "Dancing Rockers" they all had cranking arms, so you have the 1986 first edition Dee Dee Rocker doll. Hope that helps a little. Love your videos.

The 80's dolls were hella easy to swap heads on. I was a little girl then and did it all the time! 90's was when they added the prong on the inside making them harder to remove
So were the 60's and 70's. Don't like that prong too much.

I believe the doll you think is Dee Dee from Barbie and the Rockers is actually Magic Moves Barbie AA.

You have barbies from my childhood! I'm feeling so nostalgic. 😢 I had the three layer carboard home with the pull string elevator but I always dreamed to get this house you have in the pink version and now it's in my wishlist. I had the 1977 Superstar Barbie as well the Pink and Pretty one, the Angel Face and the Rocker one, plus the Twirly Curl. Many of them are gone but I'd like to get em back, I still have the dress of the Angel Face but not her make up case cuz my mom threw it away when she found out it was real make up, like "real make up on a lil girl? No way!" what a pity! 😫 I still have my Rocker barbie with her outfit and the Dream Glow with her bed who was of my sis, but now it's mine. 😁 I also still have Dream Date and Feeling Fun barbies. Peaches and Cream barbie was something I wished and asked so much as a kid but never got ☹, I remember a girl in my school who had her and I was like wohaaa! 😍 One of my friend had the Magic Moves barbie. About the Rockers they made two waves, one in the 85 and that is the wave of mine, and a second one in the 86 called sonething like dance moves or real dancing with a bit articulated bodies so that's why two of yours do that sound while moving the arms, and about your Ken it's not the Dream Glow cuz the original one has brown hair and L shaped arms. Btw late 70's, 80's and early 90's barbies are absolutely the best and I only collect them! ❤ Oh and if you like to know in my country Angel Face barbie was called Bellissima which means gorgeous and Peaches and Cream was Fior di Pesco that means peache's flower.

@@BarbieLove ur welcome, and yeah, barbies are so special! ❤No sorry, I have no idea about your Ken, but with those straight arms he looks like one from the beach or sport waves, I still have my old Ken who has the same body, mine is from the Jogging line who were made together with Barbie and Skipper. I still have the lilac chair of Twirly Curl barbie, now I'd like to get an hispanic one cuz I love her long dark hair, but this version is the hardest to find and very expencive and cannot fin one out of the box. When I was a kid in my country there were blonde barbies only and never understood why since the majority of ppl here have dark hair with hazel eyes, so this version would have been much more appropriate in my opinion.
