That screw at the bottom is stuck af .. why would they use a Philips instead of a 10mm .. i cant get the screw out of the window yet . Already starting to strip the head so gotta figure it out.. i was pushing down extremely hard . Dont wanna break the window and that screw does not wanna come off

Yeah I got a little nervous trying to get mine out. I sprayed it down with some WD40 and let it sit for a bit. It finally broke free and started to turn a little then came to a stop. I had to keep screwing it in a little then back out and spraying it often till it finally came out. Be patient, good luck to you. Thanks for watching!

So the locking mechanism has to be messed with. I took my car to the dealership to replace the regulator, and now that would not lock.

Yes unfortunately, there is an electrical plug in there that connects to the locking motor. It's possible they forgot to connect it if that's what you mean by it not working, when you try to unlock it with the switch. Hopefully it unlocks manually?
