I love this pedal. I actually prefer it’s slightly overdriven sound to my Japanese TS8. Incredible buy. Alot of the cheap pedals coming out of China are really nice.
I find this ts very smooth and the ts9/808 modes virtually indistinguishable. I had it for several weeks now and will try the internal switch today and hope the sound will get a bit edgier but from the owners manual it will give more headroom ( or different timbre ) so if the difference is as subtle as between the ts9/808, then there might be only a clean headroom boost... after so many weeks of using it, I hope I will be able to tell a difference, because when I first tried the internal switch on the day I got this pedal, the difference was so subtle I could not tell for sure what the difference was. I'd hear more of a difference between different brands (biyang mad driver, nux od3 which i like best for its crunch and mid focus and bass cut, and joyo vintage od) than difference between modes on the red demon fx ts.
Can you give an update on the pedal since you've had it for about 6 months? Does it work well with a wah pedal? Not all pedals do, I had an overdrive pedal that didn't work out well with a wah.
it is well built pedal and the sound is good, smooth that adds cream to crunch. my other ts clone in use is the joyo vintage overdrive and is a bit more crunchy than the deamon. Both have their own voice but not miles away from each other. Dynamics and clarity are great and add punch and thickness to dirty amp without mud, no complaints. I usually set and forget so I dont remember what i did with the internal switch. Either pedals are great and punch well above their price, you should not be dissapointed@@Viicorico
Man, if you dont change the keeley mod in the back of this pedal, ts808/ts9 key doesn't have effect in sound. Open the back cover and change the switch to iba mode to made a TS classic sound. Great job man.
for me is sound very nice. I have the original 1981 Tube screamer :) so...I reall dont need one, but alway you want to stack pedals :)......I am not suprpriced fi this pedal is good, to put it that way .

Great demo! This is my new favorite pedal review channel. Do you have any bass pedals? I can't wait to see more!

I could do a whole gig with only a tube screamer and be happy 😊
