Thank you for video, amazing work!. I have an Astra 1.9 CDTi 120hp Z19DT 2005. Could you tell me the reference of the spare parts? Thanks!. (Sorry, my english is not very good)
Hi good job thanks fot the video, is it only possible to change the bearing head, because the whole unit cost 70 euro and i find is kinda expensive and the bearing self is 10 euro
Excellent video thanks , but how do you know if your tensioner is broken,? and my old belt snapped , and the pulley wheel underneath the a/c pulley, was tight against the engine and wouldn't move, so we have had to put a washer on it so it will spin, and now it isn't running true and is wearing the new belt out, any ideas, would be much appreciated, thanks
Do you know fro which year? . As i just checked one 2009 and pulley is gone. The place where screw should be it is cleaner than around, so i am guesing it jus fall off, or last mechanic didnot put it back as the belt with tje pulley is clearly too short.
when you point the tensioner correct to hole and tighten the tensioner bolt after 2 turns of the crankshaft i noticed that thepointer of the tensioner does not point to the hole anymore has this to because of the tension of the belt after turning it changes
great video, just changed my belt of an Opel Zafira 1.8 2002 / But after installing and starting the motor is schocking and not running stationair as it did before. My previous new battery died out because when I arrived home I later found out why the batter y died out at my charger belt was gone. The charger belt seems to run oke but the motor is shocking! Does it matter what side you put the grooves on ( i mean the logo of continetal that it needs to go up/down or down/up (does this makes sence. As I am a total no experience with cars. But the car could not be moved due to all the things missing. Anyway I thought changing the belt could be done by a me but now I face a motor that is not running smoothly anymore. Can you give me any suiteble advise reading this. Or does it make no sence. Kind regards, Bastiaan Finland.
The alternator itself can make a lot of noise when it goes as it uses a clutch system, you'll know when it gone, sounds like the engine is going to give in but it's actually the alternator.
On my mk2 multipla I can get a lot more access than you by removing the right hand wheel and all the plastic covers, dont you have the same with your car?
thank you mate, without tools, only spaner, for me was 13
Odlično objašnjeno. Bravo👍👌

Very good. Thank you.
Late model 1.9 cdti motors didn't have the lower pulley fitted.

Does an alternator tensioner make a type of a noise can you let me know thanks ? If it needs to be replaced

Thank you very much!!!
But one question, do you know the Nm of other two roller guide? I need this dates for next week.
Thank you so much!!!
don't know
thank you...
excellent video, thanks
Which vehicle is this ?
Bindu Unni Zafira 1.9 z19dt
Hello. Can i ask you ,is it necessarry to lock the tensioner or not ?
For inexperienced mechanics yes
Grest Job perfect 👍👍👍
Can i But the Roller separately from tensioner ?
Apparently not, you have to buy the whole thing, even though the pulley unbolts easily.
Bravo!
Great video. Very helpful!
Stupid question: You don't need to actually remove the tensioner to swap the belt do you?
No, you'd be able to swap it only by aligning the tensioner like in 5:53 in the video. Just don't forget to let the tensioner on the belt again :)
No
good job
Thanks
thanks
