Caring For Fuchsia Plants, How To Grow Fuchsia Flowers

I am giving some quick care tips in this video for growing fuchsia flowers. Fuchsia flowers are also know as angel's earrings for the blooms. This is a beautiful flowering plant I have been growing fuchsia flowers since 2003. Fuchsia flowers are great for attracting hummingbirds and the flowers look lovely dancing in the breezes of summertime.

Fish fertilizer is great! Mine have more blooms than green. They are kind of a diva though..I can't let them dry out and you gotta keep pulling seed pods off or they won't bloom anymore. On top of that they will look sick if you dont keep deadheading!

I did 30 fuchsias for this lady and her mom..there fuchias look like crap. I got same fuchsia and mine are nice..growing great..
I think it's the soil she used..or too much sun. I dont think it's the sun tho. I have fuchsias in direct sun that are growing great.
The soil she used is like farm soil,cow crap and all.soil doesn't hold water well at all....
I painted hanging baskets red and yellow..super disappointed how ladies fuchsias turned out..a row of 15 in yellow and red pots looks really nice..just that the fuchsias hardly even grew in 2 months..
My balcony is gonna look sweet..10 kinds and more fuchsias probably then any other channel..

I kept one from last year inside, it went dormant, I thought it was dead. Put it outside in May it slowly came back but no blooms yet. It's almost July now, I did only one fertilizer so far.
