Important to mention that crafting the Human and Kemono versions isn’t “upgrading” the original, so you can craft both upgraded versions once you’ve made the base version once. Crafting the base armor just unlocks the ability to craft the two improved versions.

@djerikfury from my understanding of that game that's not how it works. You have a base system that doesn't take a lot of specific or specific items to build...then you have a human and monster class that has better stats and bonuses but it requires more advanced parts that are more rare drops to build but it is a stronger set. If you just need to have a better armor class then the basic upgrade will do but if you're trying to make advanced builds then you will have to farm. It's a cool system once you get your hands on it

Just a fair warning once you do unlock cladding(transmog) it will be awhile before you can even start making layered armor you gotta fight the toughest version of the kemono you want and they are always 6 star hunts so be prepared to grind for them cause the requirements are ridiculous to make a full set

How do the stats increases work?
For instance, how much damage does Savage +1 equate too? And skills that have % increases, is that a percent increase to the value, or is it a percent chance to the value?
From what I can tell it depends on the skill maybe? Like Crit Boost: Fury is a % increase to the damage of crits, whereas a skill like Destruction Art says it makes all parts easier to destroy with a 15% value.
I wish they made things more clear, it seems to be the running thing in rpgs that they don’t just have a dedicated spot in the game that breaks down all its systems to the most small level detail. This is why I’m kind of excited for the stat sheet changes they’re implanting I think I read somewhere, hopefully it sheds light on this

Human/kemono path is more about what special skills you want to build towards.
Human path skills tend to be more on the karakuri focused/support side of things, giving passive thread generation, extending karakuri duration, bonuses to your healing water and for fighting in a team, only real offense human path skill I can recall is verve which boosts attack and defense while at full health.
Kemono path is much more aggressive skills. Bonuses for getting hit, fighting during specific times of day/night, trading defenses for attack power, etc

Similar to how you grab onto a cliff side you can jump and grab onto a monster (same buttons) so when you see a glowing spot you grab on move over to the part and press the interact button (console LT) it will temporarily provide a pretty big boost to your karakuri thread limit

From what I’ve heard (and please don’t quote me on this as I’m not a claw blade player) when the claw is on the enemy, you can choose how you spin by angling the left stick and doing the light attack. Up for an up spin, left or right for the bey blade, or down for an in place spin.

Spineglider doesn't have a lot of weight behind most attacks until it enrages so a box stack or a full bulwark can block and stagger it from most attacks. Though you may need to look at your karakuri skill tree for crate and bulwark improvements

Most bows are piercing damage. On the weapon crafting tree you can see in the corner of the weapon stats an icon that shows if the weapon is slicing damage (a blue sword icon), pummel damage (a red/orange impact icon), or piercing damage (a green arrowhead icon).
