Im on year 26 as a full time seller, i 100% stopped thinking about returns 15+ years ago. Take emotions out of your business. feelings is why most fail. For one nothing can be done. for 2 its a better customer service to offer returns whether they are right or wrong. And 3 lets say you lose a few bucks, its a write off. Maybe i was able to take emotions out because im a larger seller, not sure but once you do, business life is easier
I love your shows guys. I look forward to seeing the show every Saturday. I also love y’all’s lives. I hope you don’t mind if I put a little bug in your ear. I know from time to time y’all will interview another reseller. I would love to see y’all interview Tech N Sports. I think having him on the show would greatly benefit this channel. Just a thought. This would be an interesting future topic to explore from a seller perspective particularly from sellers who make their living on eBay or depend on the platform to supplement income. I know some have had bad experiences dealing with certain sellers but there are also good sellers with good items. I don't buy monthly but I do buy from eBay. I do however choose my sellers carefully. It just makes me sad to hear this so often on YT.
I do research on eBay and constantly look at other stores and feedback. Mainly to learn so I can always get better as a seller. Not let me say there are excellent sellers out there but unfortunately the high volume of bad sellers (many who do not know any better) do not deliver the buying experience on this platform and until that changes I just don’t have time to investigate every seller before I buy something. With that said, I know Scott buys on there all the time.
Mercari could have gone in a better direction, such as maybe a flat rate price on shipping like Poshmark because Mercaris postage is ridiculously high.
Well, what I get out of mercari update is they want you to keep your money in mercari for they can use it to invest in the stock market They said they drop a fee from buyers if they use their balance in macari time will tell scott have a point, too. promoting listing is coming mercari
It's clear as daylight that mercari noticed Temu and whatnot. So mercari wants in on the game. Since many are selling things for cheap on whatnot and are happy then it could maybe work on mercari?
Apparently, the "Fake Reseller" has been a popular title or subject to snatch up this week. The new trend is to find a popular video & jump on the subject matter or just steal the title and talk about whatever 😮
