Fully famiiarize yourself with it as much as possible and you should have a nice time. Be aware that the heat can be unbearable in September. And remember, you can never see it all. Bon voyage.

The 3rd Street Promenade has bounced back from several recessions & appears to be doing so again ! 🐼
bounced back? Looks can be deceiving. There's still so many empty store fronts along the Promenade. It looks crowded from all the out of town tourists visiting but a lot of the locals don't even bother visiting the area anymore. Many local businesses have left because the lease is so expensive and safety is a concern @13:24 (read the huge banner on the right along the wall) w/ an increase in crime and homelessness.
I rather go visit Glendale Galleria and the Americana, there's way less traffic, lots of FREE parking and less tourist crowds AND there's a Porto's
@derekluvsboba I saw Barnes & Noble was returning ..they & Borders both had 3 floor units right below Wilshire in the day. They aren't doing particularly well so 🤷 something is up ..
@@davidellis5141 ok and the new food hall looks great but have u seen the last block from the video? Its pretty empty, even the entertaining buskers are not even there anymore. Hope they have security when B & N opens cuz I can see the homeless use it as a shelter. Santa Monica and the surrounding area needs to address this problem with more shelters and affordable housing

We used to often go to the third street promenade, but the place is no longer fun. SM has too many issues, but nothing gets done about it.
