I think you may just be thinking of psychopathy as generic evil when that's not the case, plenty of psychopaths don't even commit crimes.
@@SirNightKnight Well first it has to be understood that empathy means you can empathize with another, meaning share their feelings. I think you might be confusing "lack of empathy", with "lack of emotion". Art indeed can display emotions, but he doesn't feel bad about what he's doing because he's basically the embodiment of evil, (this is what he is) which the creator Damien Leone has mentioned. He's not just a psychopath, the correct term would be "Psychopathic Killer", which is someone with psychopathic traits that lead to homicide, hence why Art behaves the way he does.
@@NocturnalCritic Empathy does not make you a good person. Empathy is a social adaptation. It is simply the ability to intuit others emotions. You can be incredibly empathetic and also evil/sadistic. In fact there is a theoretical off-shot of ASPD know as the dark empath. A highly empathetic person can be very dangerous if they are also sadistic because they know how to cause the most pain. To be clear I am not suggesting that Art is highly empathetic he most likely has very little. However, a psychopath cannot experience empathy full stop. A psychopathic killer is more like Michael Myers or Patrick Bateman. Someone driven to kill those in their way but does not gain specific pleasure in inflicting pain and torment. Art does gain pleasure and enjoyment in killing, so a psychopath is unlikely. He would definitely fall into ASPD, and does exhibit many sociopathic traits but I don't think psychopath in an accurate description. The term Psychopathic killer seems to be more used as a cool sounding title, instead of something that is accurate to Art's mental state.
@@SirNightKnightdepends on how you define "crimes". I believe that all psychopaths commit crimes in that they will simply do anything and everything that they can get away with. They lack morality and a conscience in addition to empathy. The thing is to not get caught or have to face any consequences or be accountable for their behavior. Therefore, most of them intentionally fly under the radar of the law and commit crimes (or equally immoral behaviors whether technically illegal or not) that they can get away with, such as abusing family members.

I pretty sure the little pale girl is possessed by a Demon or saten himself I don’t want to spoil anything but terrifier 3 makes it seem this way for sure
It’s never been stated that art is a human in Terrifier 1…
He shot himself in the head and died.
Scariest thing about terrifier franchise is that people actually like these films,in my view they r cringey and awful.the gore especially the blood looks so funny and unrealistic too
I wish there was more of The little Pale Girl 😕
With a better script writer/storyteller at the helm, this franchise could be the scariest thing ever. Unfortunately, no one cares to craft a decent story. These movies just coast off of very creepy costume design and one good physical actor.
I much prefer the Hell House franchise. It isn’t perfect and got a bit redundant with parts 2 and 3 but at least there is a back story. Part 4 really got it back on track.
Nah I liked the story in terrifier 2
This is Damian's world. Hes killing it. Hollywood is going to destroy this if he ever sells the rights. Also it seems the writing gets better as he makes more movies. Im hoping terrifier 4 is the last movie for a while tho. I dont want him running this franchise into the dirt
There is nothing, and I mean NOTHING, that explains Art. He is violence and chaos incarnate. Art might just be the most sadistic slasher villain of all time.
What does the creator director say???
12:58 i think why he shot himself is because he didn't want to have to go to jail when he could have gone to the morgue instead and broke his way out of there
The director confirmed that art didn't know he was gonna be resurrected in the first one, so he shot himself and thought he would just die
@@basketballforever699_ oh my bad
Fully human in Terrifier? Not according to that ending.
"BrO 104 ViEwS iN fOuR hOuRS, BrO FeLL oFf"
@@Have-A-Rest1 Well I actually take this as a compliment lol cause I never knew I was on.
You're being ironic, but even still shut up lmao.
You said she called him a shit gimmicky mime. That's not being upset at her calling him a mime, maybe if she had said you're a very talented and entertaining mime.... 💁🏻♂️
Art does speak through Victoria Hayes in terrified 3 when he possesses her and speaks to sienna
@@alexEMP1dude spoilers. Some of us haven't had a chance to see it.

Naaah, how many sequels would it take to make this potable horror-wise? Everything about the franchise is weak, mimicking and recycling tired gimmicks of the past!
Couldn't disagree more with every trash point you tried to make
is art a nephilim
Arg ain't a giant
thks
Cause I think you’re giving him too much credit. Maybe a director just wanted to create a scary looking character displaying some nasty deaths
Well, you could say Art is a "terrifier"
You must have never been to the circus. Professional clowns dont speak.
"What does a mime even look like having $3x?
Probably all like,
"Oh, I'm a mime."
