Awesome! Love the colors you've chosen! Just please, please dont forget to add some massive waves when you pour the resin! Those titans going full force would cause some pretty insane water effects, maybe even tip the truck in the background!
Imagine having the onlookers get swept away by the waves as the titans fight, having the truck get tipped an having the crew panic! You could create some air bubbles from the squad as they get the air pushed out of them, or even gunfire under water! Would make full use of the fact that its being cast in clear resin!
It was cool to see Emil realize he couldn't get the free hand the way he wanted. It's easy to assume everyone who freehands on minis is just naturally insanely talented. It's cool to see that y'all are actually human. Well at least every but Lukas, because that free hand was nuts.
Hello guys when you mask the stripes first do a coat of mat varnish so it fills the tape bond and after mat coat you do the color will see there will be no leak through. Hope it helps! Great project and another video.
You should look into doing a resin drip over a dog cone to get the scale of the splash down from the smackdown of the titan! Having the "wave" splash up behind the impact of the chaos titan would give such a dynamic water effect. You guys are really already selling the overall story so well with everything else this deserves some amazing and creative resin work to round out the saga!
Just wanted to say much love because of you guys and my wife I finally had enough courage to start painting miniatures and now I'm hooked just like all those fish Lukas catches
Protip when using masking tape to avoid colour bleed: Paint some varnish along the edge of the masking tape before you paint the colour you want. Then the varnish does the bleeding, and not the second colour.
The more this is coming together the more making a diarama out of it vs 2 standalone models becomes blindingly obviosuly the right decision. It looks fantastic already - I cant wait for more!
It’s looking great. Just a small idea. If you could put a free hand of diver going down in the depths of the water on the armour. That would be a fun Easter egg.
5:10 A small trick when masking. Use the original color (turquoise) to seal the the edge of the masking tape before applying the new color. That way you will get a perfectly sharp line every time.
So appreciative that you would show us the errors you make and times when you struggle! It really helps us new painters to recognise that it’s not always easy/perfect and that even the pro’s can struggle ❤
Beautiful work and stunning freehand detailing once again. Please make sure you consider putting battle damage on that traitor titan as it would have take a huge hit to be knocked down and out
You guys rock! At this rate, this will undoubtedly go down as one of the best Warhammer dioramas in history. Also huge thanks showing the process, I learn so much about painting from just watching you guys and its an utter joy along the way. You are both beautiful
I might be wrong but I think Glorious Gold is the way it is because it's supposed to go over dark brown color. A lot of paints in game color range need to go over a specific color like that whereas Model Color and Metal Color range paints are super opaque.
About the gold - Plasmo, a scale modeller normally - has probably the most shiny gold on his Land Raider. Actual 24 Carats leaf Gold. Maybe that's an idea for future Gold trims.
I am in such awe of your talents. I've never play Warhammer or done anything with minis but I stumbled on your channel and just love seeing the art you create.
My mother passed away in January, since then I haven't had it in me to paint anything. Thanks for the vids Squidmar, they help get my mind off things. Hopefully I can get the urge back soon and start painting again.
My mother will have been in the ground 18 years this December 7th. It never really "goes away". It's kinda like a splinter in your mind. You will never get over it, but I will tell you that it does get easier. If I might suggest, I think that the delicate touch required for this type of painting would be excellent "self therapy", if you get my meaning. I did much the same thing in building custom firearms for a little while.
What a WARLORD TITAN, and turquoise will be great seen between the waves.. but still no goblin in sight. Will you add it sometime somewhere? Even a floating stabba loosing his fellow squigg through the waves of the two big guys.
love the color selection for the titan, really pops. these videos are just so chill and fun. I must say they really pulled me back into this hobby a lot.
It's starting to look absolutely incredible guys. I'm excited to see this come together. If GW don't somehow figure out a way to feature this online and at Warhammer World they are missing out.
I am so glad I woke up to see this video at the top of my subscription feed. I have been working on a Reaver titan diorama to enter in a local painting competition at the end of this month. I had planned to zenithal spray my titan and then tint it turquoise using a rich coloured ink I ordered from Warcolours. I ordered the paints from Warcolours using expedited shipping but they have unfortunately been lost in a warp storm. I was starting to despair but the turquoise scheme on your Warlord looks awesome and I have most of the colours used in this video already in my collection. I don't have the p3 ink but I have turquoise liquitex ink and turquoise oil paints I can experiment with to substitute as a transparent filter. I feel motivated again and hope is not lost. Thanks Squidmar team!
"lucas who has way more experience with free hand is going to try to save it" What a way to say he's the sensei of this and he should be the one to do it Emil.
Keep up the Amazing work Squidmar! To watch your dedication to the hobby is infatuating! Keep up the amazing work and look forward to all your content.
I recently have been getting into Warhammer and your channel just makes me super excited to start my journey into painting and the work you guys do is amazing! the Warlord Titan looks amazing!
looks amazing! one thing i noticed tho, build up the mud floor around the foot of the loyalist titan so in looks like its sinking into the mud a little bit
That's the color combination I been looking to achieve for my chaos army. Amazing work, can't wait for the final project. Been following since you started it. 😮
Emil and Lucas' skill and techniques on creating texture and variety on surfaces is on another level. I would love to see you guys' take on gundam model kits.
Lucas's freehands are works of art and he makes it looks so easy! What a painter!
That tentacle 🐙!
what else would they be works of?
@@ikitclaw8969
A fair point.
If anything he makes it look Techno dancing easy...
Lucas needs a bonus for this episode. Great job all. Superb video editing and painting.
Yes great job. I absolutely loved how it turned out!😀
His dance moves alone warrant a pay raise. I never knew that part of the Adeptus Titanicus Rites was to dance Swedish-rave style!
Lucas needs a bonus for just putting up with all the Harry Potter jokes. Every mention in the comments is like a quarter or something.
And music👌
Awesome! Love the colors you've chosen!
Just please, please dont forget to add some massive waves when you pour the resin! Those titans going full force would cause some pretty insane water effects, maybe even tip the truck in the background!
Such a good idea

You could create some air bubbles from the squad as they get the air pushed out of them, or even gunfire under water! Would make full use of the fact that its being cast in clear resin!
Imagine me in the background with a 7up (with a straw) and my sun hat on!
It was cool to see Emil realize he couldn't get the free hand the way he wanted. It's easy to assume everyone who freehands on minis is just naturally insanely talented. It's cool to see that y'all are actually human. Well at least every but Lukas, because that free hand was nuts.
Wow the tentacle Lucas did is stunning.
Lucas really does absolutely amazing work
I've never seen anyone enjoy the priming of a model so much before
This is some great painting; and Lucas' freehand is tenti-cool.

You really should add the humble little goblin spearman somewhere in the diarama to showcase where this all began. Perhaps piloting the chaos titan?
Imagine an Alpha Legion titan just chilling with a few loyalist titans. It would be normal, because they're loyalist. 🥸
Just unreal! nothing more to say for me! I'm in awe!
Just wanted to say much love because of you guys and my wife I finally had enough courage to start painting miniatures and now I'm hooked just like all those fish Lukas catches
6:59 May be the FINEST moment in Hobbytubing History.
Spraypainting with the white hoodie on. Brave indeed.
Protip when using masking tape to avoid colour bleed: Paint some varnish along the edge of the masking tape before you paint the colour you want. Then the varnish does the bleeding, and not the second colour.
Also use better quality tape. Cream masking tape is cheap garbage. Yellow Tesa tape leaves way neater lines.
nah, bro just needed to not blast the paint like a fucking super soaker and spray from a 90 degree angle. the tape was probably fine
The more this is coming together the more making a diarama out of it vs 2 standalone models becomes blindingly obviosuly the right decision. It looks fantastic already - I cant wait for more!
Yes, but still it would have been really nice to not put them in resin. They could just build the diarama with them still being moveable
Oooooh buddy it looks amazing can’t wait to see the final! My one gripe with how stellar them panels are, that gold trim deserves nmm!
this might be the coolest mini painting projekt on youtube.
Simple amazing paintjobs... especially the freehanded ones...👏
This is an awesome series, your channel has helped my (amature) painting career Soo much!
Agree. Helped me in my painting journey too
Indeed
It’s looking great. Just a small idea. If you could put a free hand of diver going down in the depths of the water on the armour. That would be a fun Easter egg.
WOW you do great work, thank you for letting us watch you, great video.
5:10 A small trick when masking. Use the original color (turquoise) to seal the the edge of the masking tape before applying the new color. That way you will get a perfectly sharp line every time.
Dare you to do a mini scene with the adeptus titanicus models. A little command bunker with halo display would be really cool. Loving the work so far
So appreciative that you would show us the errors you make and times when you struggle! It really helps us new painters to recognise that it’s not always easy/perfect and that even the pro’s can struggle ❤
I am in awe with how talented you guys are at doing freehand painting. The kraken murals are incredible!
The free hand work is absolutely insane
Emil, the mad lad, airbrushing with a white jumper on!!!!😱😱😱
So much talent in one man, then we add the priming moves...
Absolutely brilliant work.
I love this series more than life
Same!!!
Hell yes
Take it easy, bro
You'll need life to paint more minis
I love this series more than you
Good series I agree but like.. how's ya life bud? I mean I love yuri but without my life it means nothing to me
Beautiful work and stunning freehand detailing once again.
Please make sure you consider putting battle damage on that traitor titan as it would have take a huge hit to be knocked down and out
I cannot overstate how awesome that looks. It's probably my favourite colour scheme ever and the freehands are absolutely fantastic
You guys rock!

A lot of paints in game color range need to go over a specific color like that whereas Model Color and Metal Color range paints are super opaque.
Most channels: "So it's gonna take about 5 videos to paint this Titan"
Squidmar: "We're gonna paint two in a week"
Lucas dance-priming really put a smile on my face. Love that kind of energy
Lucas is an absolute artist when it comes to freehand. Amazing work!
You two are true artist. It’s a joy to watch you create. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Titans are the stuff of legends man... to see this as a model so exquisitely done is a treat.
About the gold - Plasmo, a scale modeller normally - has probably the most shiny gold on his Land Raider. Actual 24 Carats leaf Gold. Maybe that's an idea for future Gold trims.

Imagine opening up to a content creator and they reply with an emoji basically, oof.

Yeah, rough
My sincerest condolences. Been there. Keep putting one foot in front of the other. It gets better.
Everybody loves a Lucas spray paint priming party 😎
i cant wait to see how this diorama turns out!
AWESOME!
As always, Im super happy that Lukas is part of this channel both of you just make very entertaining videos
Beautiful job painting! I can't help but think some barnacles would be an amazing touch on the imperial titan
You guys are living the dream of every hobbyist.
What a WARLORD TITAN, and turquoise will be great seen between the waves.. but still no goblin in sight. Will you add it sometime somewhere? Even a floating stabba loosing his fellow squigg through the waves of the two big guys.
Lucas's suction cups are popping out of the screen at this point. Amazing job. Give that man a raise! 11:43
love the color selection for the titan, really pops. these videos are just so chill and fun. I must say they really pulled me back into this hobby a lot.
WAAARLAWRD TAITAIN!
Love this series. Not an over-sized fishing rod in sight 😅
YET
Love the art, the music, the comradery ... everything is so sweet ... love u guys ❤
really amazing!
What an epic journey to be on with y'all. Glad to be here for every bit of it! Keep up the POWA!
You two are fantastic! Really embodying how our little hobby can arguably be made into a piece of fine art. Truly inspiring AND humbling.
Literally one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Great job with the project so far!
It's starting to look absolutely incredible guys. I'm excited to see this come together. If GW don't somehow figure out a way to feature this online and at Warhammer World they are missing out.

This project is my favorite warhammer project on youtube
You guys are getting better and better after each videos. This titan is incredible, crazy freehand !!!
WARLORD TITAN
Simply just WOW!!
looking absolutely incredible so far!!!! Wow guys, you're outdoing yourselves!
Looking amazing! Can't wait to see the weathering and massive waves those 2 giant titans are going to make!
Good lord that trim is sharp and helps everything pop
Titan looks so gorgeous
I recently have been getting into Warhammer and your channel just makes me super excited to start my journey into painting and the work you guys do is amazing! the Warlord Titan looks amazing!
Emil and Lucas, thank you very much for the ideas and inspiration.
Stunning work. It's great seeing it all come together
Jesus Christ, that freehand work is phenomenal.
I hope you fellas know how blessed you are to have someone to work on painting like this with.
Lucas nailed that tentacle. Godly fixup
Kind of insane how good that looks
That's weird, I was thinking about this project, like 10 mins ago, then BOOM next episode is here!!! Deffo my fav mini project on YT ❤
Anyone else have to go back to see Lukas spray paint dance w/o the music playing a second time?
what a glorious day to have eyes. Those colour blends and combos are top shelf
These dudes deserve more credit. No other youtuber comes close
Love to see this kind of passion going into a hobby.
It is really impressive how this project is going on :) The yellow shield panel looks great in contrast to the rest of the titan.
The paint jobs are as epic as the model! Amazing to watch... Thank you guys.
looks amazing! one thing i noticed tho, build up the mud floor around the foot of the loyalist titan so in looks like its sinking into the mud a little bit
that is looking freaking awesome so far.
Absolutely stunning!!
The colors turned out incredible. Great choices and even better execution.
This looks amazing! So happy you went with Legio Naesseas, it's so beautiful
Congrats, you nailed the pronunciation of the word "Vallejo"!
Respect
Three words...
THAT
IS
EPIC
!!!
Loved seeing you both sharing the load, especially when things didn’t go perfectly :-)
11:26 that's a beautiful arch!
That's the color combination I been looking to achieve for my chaos army. Amazing work, can't wait for the final project. Been following since you started it. 😮
That tentacle Lucas fixed was sick you guys are so talented and make it look sooo easy lol
The videos just get better and better!❤
Emil and Lucas' skill and techniques on creating texture and variety on surfaces is on another level. I would love to see you guys' take on gundam model kits.
Those are boring
Vallejo Dark Sea Blue is just one of those colours that's makes you shudder with satisfaction as you apply it.
